Well, it will take them a LONG time to make a whole series and i'm guessing that as it is the last series it will be somewhat longer and more in depth.

So, by march time next year i think it might be announced/released.

On the language front thank goodness I started with English. (Though stupid Canadian education system trying to make me learn French, well I showed them. Can't remember a thing :) ) But really if I tried to learn a new language I'd probably mess up English and end up not understanding anyone.

Most I want from Season 3 is it existing. But really maybe Laplace getting busted up, since that rabbit just creeps me out for some reason. Some Suigintou action (which is hard since she has to be careful not to kill Megu in the process) Throw in Kirakishou, though I have the bare minimum in info about her.

On the dream front, don't think Rozen Maidens have gotten in there yet. While yuri isn't my favorite thing. Be it human or doll, when you give your best effort any problem like making the dolls happy can be overcome. But I'd rather not dwell on that.

The whole Alice question still has me thinking about it. Considering she is supposed to be an ideal that wouldn't mean she's perfect to everyone. I mean sure the guy can create increidble dolls that can move and use abilities, but can anything create an ideal? Maybe Alice would be human or whatever Rozen is and would live forever or a seriously long time.

The guy is a giant rabbit, that just screams evil :). I still sit on my Ouverture impression that he intentionally let things get stirred up to the boiling point then sent Shinku and Suigintou off to stir in their anger. Yeah somehow Kun Kun being a disguise for Laplace's evil schemes really says something...They need to release something since that has to be near the bottom of the barrel.

Sure Suigintou just needs one on one combat before getting the Rozen Mystica. Quite the generous offer though. Kira just has to have a fight and make sure she doesn't win. Well if Megu dies she'll be happy since living wasn't high on her priorities. All Kira needs is a chance to prove her friendship, when Gin needs some help she can jump in.

Well, after they came down the stairs, the house sensed that there was going to be a major plot mondification and started to dance with joy. During it's dance, everything in the house became messy and Shinku needed to clean it up with her red light thing.
After the red light thing, the cameramen worked up the courage to switch their cameras back on. Shinku then noticed a book, which had missed out on the red light thing. She originally intended to put it away, but then started to read it, not knowing that it skcrews up the plotline because it is the script for each episode for the rest of the series.

They are plotting a conspiracey. Watch them very closely at all times.
You may think that Hina is all cute with her unyuu and crayons. But what we don't know is that it is all just a coverup, to disguise her true intention, which is to destroy the world.
You may think that Kanaria is just there for comic relief, but that is only when the camera men are recording.
When the camera people are not around, she has successfully blown up the entire neighbourhood around the Sakurada house on many occasions, but for some suspicious reason, always misses the Sakurada residence, but that may have something to do with Shinku's red light thing.
Luckily for the production studio, they always have a backup disk with the entire Sakurada neighbourhood in it, so restoration is always a simple process.
When Hina and Kana met, they knew instantly that their goals were the same and that combining their plots to blow up the world, would somehow be more convenient to the overall plotline.

Well maybe it's kind've like with royalty. Hand is held out with a ring you have to kiss it. At least I saw it probably on tv or in a movie. Or maybe some sort of gut feeling on Megu's part from one that can be a medium. Either that or a really interesting coincidence. Since if Gin was awake she certainly wouldn't have invited for a medium.

But she said she saw her last about that long ago. In the N field she said they fought there 586,920 hours ago (68.7 years). That is longer than they met in Ouverture. So I'd run under the assumption they fought at least once more then after the events in Ouverture.

I'm going to go with it is Suigintou's field. Maybe her mental state of not remembering everything could cause the snow or maybe the impact of the rabit. Crystals I think are just Bara's power at work. It might take a while but if she sits in someone's field long enough she could probably create a massive amount of crystal. Pretty rude though to litter in someone's area :).

Better late than never I agree. At least Shinku grew enough as a character to realize what she did and start to make amends to Suigintou. Certainly was shocking enough to cut any speech or whatever she had intended to say or do.

She has short term memory loss. She can't remember the fight in S1. She only remembers that the last time she fought was previous to S1, but after Ouverture. She slowly regains her memorys of S1.

Shinku already knew that she had to do that, because she had previously read the script that is currently in Suigintou's possesion. Suigintou, currently knowing the rest of the plot thanks to the script, was only acting surprised. None of the two realised that both of them were only pretending, as they were not aware that they both had read the script.

Looks like Suigintou had to go through a really rough time to get back into the series. First getting locked away to consider symbolism and then having a pay cut threat if she didn't produce. Not sure if she'll thank the fans for struggling to get her back.

That's one tough director to be sure.

Well, they needed a main-character-beats-minor-character-because-they're-main-character battle, so this just happened to be it.

So Kanaria also have some repairing spells like Shinku.......
Well, she has blown up the neighbourhood around the sakurada residence many, many times. She knew that one day the director would find out...and this is the way that he made her make up for it. Of course, because of the main-character-is-better-than-everyone-else theory, the yellow light thingy isn't as good or as effective as the red light thingy.

Budget cuts? Choreographing a high stakes sword battle would have cost too much? But really a moment where you could've had a cool showdown. Those scissors are the closest thing to another sword Gin may have a chance to go up against.

If you can say anything about Gin, she's got quite the variety of weaponry. Close range, long range, it all works out pretty well. Dragon ability is good for show, unless people are terrified of dragons made out of black feathers, sprouting from the back of a doll...

I'm sorry that I'm late with review...
But I have lot of things to do.. So I didn't have time yesterday...
But I'll try to go here as much as I can.. Well I don't really have to do anything important.
But to me it's important.. You see I downloaded about 30 000 anime pics and now I have to sort those what I like and what I don't... I also installed Vista Inspirat 2 and some new skins for mozilla... While searching for some skins I also got a virus (really bad one) and I forgot my NOD32 already don't work (it was only trial version)... After that my computer started to be totally slow... But thank god I was somehow able to quickly download NOD from torrents and now everything is back to normal.
Even tho my computer is still a little bit slow for having so many pictures and skins...
So I have to look at it because I hate when I have slow computer...
Then I promised one friend on internet that I will help him with some stuff on his site (www.gundam.sk).... Then I have to finally print those Kira pics and put them on my wall.. Also I have to put down RM anime pics (I tell the reason later).
I also have to make my userbar (that won't take a long).. Then somehow repair my MP3 player because it don't work... And also write reviews for RMO...
I really hate things like taking a shower, eating, going on toilet, school because it takes so much of my precious time... But parents just don't understand that I have a lot of work to do... Well at least they don't really care that I always have 5 (worst grade) in school.. Except some subjects like english :)....

Has to be because Gin is so much more skilled than Shinku :). She can draw power in a situation she shouldn't even without trying. Maybe a poorly thought out plot hole or since Megu is hospitalized powers at be gave a special exception.

You have to wonder at times. A good question is where the heck did all the chairs come from? Though if your immortal then magically bringing out some chairs isn't all that big. But was nice to see him showing some care to Suigintou and not leaving her without some care. Think being pat on the head would mean quite a bit to her.

But do think he gives Shinku a greater degree of attention.

Yeah might be one of the earlier times. But now there are a few times when they give you a commercial for a new anime at the end of a series. Not sure about the other one. But I can say Rec was a nice little series. Amazingly short but also plenty of fun all things considered.

Me too, at first i can't understand how gin was able to move at all with out a torso, so the barrier sound like a good explanation, but how she do it before she got her rosa mystica, :confused:
Like many things in this world the answer is simple. Guts :) (Which is slightly ironic with the missing torso I know). But seems like a standard response with Gin is shear will power. It's something she could move without a rosa mystica period so anything else can't surprise me.
I think , why in the world we are praising the villians, bad ones, of the story, in the past we used to hate the bads and love the heros, but here it seems backwords, we then to dislike the heros and like the antiheros, Lol :heh:

It really is an odd thing. Maybe as anime watches grow they start losing the black and white views they used to look at things with. With the bad guys being pure evil and the good guys saints. Though at times it can be a bit annoying since when you want to hate a bad guy people start going on about how they had their reasons and they aren't really that bad. Sometimes its good to just hate the villain.

Well I agree it's like a parental love. Plus its probably something they have been created with an inborn emotion. A natural longing for 'father' that is a key part to all of them. Almost like a child and their parents, or some people and how they seek after god.

Almost a good thing Bara did that and Jun intervened. If Shinku had won would Rozen have intervened and restored the others? I can't be sure so it's better to have things end like they did. Though cutting out the Jun speech would be nice.

Well lol... Kirakishou also had some dirty tricks in her sleeve... Like she stole Megu from her bed :D... I was always against this unfair tricks... But for some reason, I started to like them a little... But I usually hate cheating... But well Suigintou could have dodged it so she's the one who is at fault that she died...
Maybe I'm too simple but dirty tricks just aren't my thing. Let's have the sides go at it full tilt and see who wins. No need to make it complicated through back attacks, kidnappings, or all of it. Generally I'd blame the one who shot the person in the back :). Besides it would have been dishonorable to just jump and let Shinku take the beating. Sometimes you have to stand your ground.

It was an unsatisfied ending to me. 2 of Rosa Mystica were still taken from Laplace no Ma and the true seventh doll of the Rozen Maidens made a few second appeared at the very end so for that matter that really need to be a season 3 to finish off the story completely. It has been nearly a year since Rozen Maiden Overture was released and up till now I still haven’t heard any news about season 3. I hope they didn’t just stop the storyline at 2nd season and leave as it is somewhat incomplete series.

Just got back from marathoning Rozen Maiden 1-01 to 2-12, and from what I've seen, it's really good. Not Fate/Stay Night or Kanon good, but good. The sad part is that it's unfinished, has been for two years now, and, due to certain implications, may not ever be resolved. Already, thoughts were in my head about how a third season would play out, most of the plot involving Suiseiseki, the reason I got into this series in the first place. However, after watching the whole series analytically, I've had to adjust it a bit, due to Rozen entrusting Shinku to find another way to become Alice as well as figure out how to return Souseiseki and Hinaichigo to normal. The problem with the third season is that it is greatly needed for the good of this series, but with the manga also in a halt, there isn't a sense of direction. If we're not careful, this could turn into a Konjiki no Gash Bell problem.

So far, here's how I've hoped the next season could play out.

Rozen Maiden: Liebchen

Setting: Three months after the Barasuishou melee.

Episode 1: Review
Souseiseki's soul comes for a visit to Jun's house but nobody notices. Souseiseki provides a short summary of the events of the first season and Traumend. Save five minutes for her twin sister to break the contract between her and Jun only because Jun asks Shinku to go out with him.

Episode 2: Kirakishou
Jun, now successfully a third year in high school, has matured greatly from his hikkimori days, and has been able to handle the outside world. It's the night before the supposed date between Jun and Shinku, and the seventh doll, Kirakishou, makes her appearance known in the N-field as the true seventh doll, with a man (Laplace?) as her medium. It is a scaled battle that eventually ends in a draw due to Shinku's unwillingness to fight.

Episode 3: Evening
After school, Jun picks up Shinku and goes on their "date", leaving Suiseiseki and Kanaria behind. With odd stops (Shinku calls the shots), the two have a little fun on their own, but they also talk about the seventh doll, what it means for the Alice Game, and what Rozen meant about having other ways to become Alice. Meanwhile, an hour after both of them left, a mysterious doll collector (no, not Mitsu), rings the doorbell to the Sakurada residence.

Episode 4: Midori & Episode 5: Sisterly Bonds
Shinku's last stop is the hospital. Apparently, she wants to talk to Suigintou, as well as meet her medium (Remember she figured out why Suigintou sided with Bara). Though Suigintou pretty much still hates Shinku, it's an awkward bonding ending up with Suigintou promising Shinku to save her as the last Rosa Mystica to take. Meanwhile, that mysterious doll collector that arrives at the Sakurada residence - Midori Watanabe, revealed to be a classmate of Jun's. She's taken quite an interest in Souseiseki, or what's left of her, and is willing to take her home with her by paying any sum of money. Suiseiseki (who is supposed to act lifeless in this situation) intervenes, and Midori then decides to take Suiseiseki along with her. No money paid, but the twins are now gone from the Sakurada's.

Episode 6: Exchange & Episode 7: Materialization
Jun and Shinku come home to realize that both Suiseiseki and Souseiseki's body is missing, along with their boxes. Nori does indeed tell them what happened (except she forgets the name of the person), and they have come to accept it, but it also means that for the first time in a long time, Shinku's the only doll moving around the house. The two try to work together to crack Rozen's riddle. Meanwhile, Sugintou encounters Kirasuishou for the first time in the N-Field, and much to her surprise, Kirakishou adores Suigintou to a point where she is willing to give up her three Rosa Mysticae, including her own, if Suigintou does particular errands. Suigintou refuses to do one - surrender her medium. However, she agrees to finding another sister so that Kirakishou can consume her body and live out in the real world. The victim ends up to be Kanaria, which is rather a success for Kirakishou, and Suigintou is rewarded with both Souseiseki's and Hinaichigo's Rosa Mysticae.

Episode 8: Invitation
Shinku receives an unsigned invitation to an Alice Game. There is a win condition - a defeat results in a loss of only one Rosa Mystica. The other condition? Bring your medium. Not exactly a problem for Shinku, since Jun would have tagged along anyway. Shinku is rather hesitant to do it, but Jun insists that she at least go to see who it was and ensure the safety of their home. Kirakishou arrives in the flesh (sort of), revealing to Shinku that Kanaria has lost the game. Upsetting as it was, Shinku refuses to accept. But then Suigintou shows up to do battle. In either case, neither Suigintou nor Karakishou sent the invitation. Suigintou did, however, express interest in participating.

Episode 9: Change & Episode 10: Love
Something's not right. In the N-Field, Suigintou has been pushed aside by... Suiseiseki? There has been a change in character, presented by the new crimson dress that Midori sewed up for Suiseiseki, and part of it is that she wants to battle. What happened to the pacifist? Exposed to the truth of the Alice Game, or at least Midori's truth, Suiseiseki challenges Jun and Shinku to a 2 vs. 2 Alice Game in what appears to be Midori's dream world, where there must be a winner in a 15 minute time period or the game is a draw. And Suigintou has nothing to do with this - this time, the medium fights alongside the maiden, using swords drawn up in the dreamworld. Jun and Shinku plan to stall, which really is what Midori wanted, as she uses that time to not only gauge Jun and Shinku but to also expose them to the truth - the true meaning of love, and the purpose behind the purpose of the Rozen Maiden dolls, i.e. the true fulfillment of Alice. How seven become one bonded in love to become Alice together, inseparable, sharing every feeling of pain and gladness as one person. Emphasis is also placed on the bond between the medium and the maiden. Game ends in a draw, as expected, and the last line of episode 10 is Suiseiseki's "By the way, have you two kissed yet?"

Episode 11: Kiss & Episode 12: Purpose
I'll leave the last two episodes to your imagination. However, the way I have written this assumes that there will be a Season 4 Finale.

So, that's it. Rozen Maiden is unfinished, and if something doesn't happen, it will be just another one of those animes that could have had a what if situation.

A few opinions on that, and some think the same way you do, but when it came down to it he still was bedazzled by Shinku fighting. I have always wondered what is it that Enju looks for in a doll? Physical perfection is a sure thing when it comes to an apprentice of rozen and an artisan of Enju. But what was he looking for that was different that he saw in Shinku during the last fight?

I found Rozen Maiden through a friend of mine and I remember how stoked I was when I found out that there was a season 2... after getting it and watching it all i was just blown away... unfortunately like most of you, im quite saddened by the amount of plot holes it has...

That is true, at this current point in time, there isn't going to be a season 3, but that doesn't stop fans from hoping! Although there has not been anything indicating that there will be a season 3 by the official companies, many fans believe that there will be.

It did. A couple of months ago, the manga was axed [? I think, I don't remember the details] from the magazine it was published in, so it was forced to finish. But another magazine has picked up Rozen Maiden [Young Jump to be exact], so at the moment the manga is not having any problems.
