dang! I slept over the 2000th post. T_T

I really don't have any new ideas for a new Rozen wall. Anybody want to request/suggest something?
The only thing I have in mind right now is to re-color and edit my previous one. :heh:

I'm realy sorry to say this here but.. Solwy.., its time you did a Anju wallpaper.. :)

On Rozen Maiden though.., what about the idea you had on your last, to substitute Gin, Shinku, Sou and Sei for Bara, Kira, Hina and Kana ?

Its not going to be easy to find pictures of Kira to place in it though...

Maybe someone here can help ? You guys seem to find any possible Rozen Maiden pictures

Or..., you can always make many, MANY Gin wallpapers..., I for one would Never complain :p

There are just so many unresolved issues and mystery revolving around Rozen Maiden. I, for one, would also like to see more of Suigintou and Megu. And I would also appreciate many many Gin wallpapers.

Lol! Remember that Shinku tried cooking before (in Newlywed maiden) and she failed. Also Shinku does not know how to bake proper cookies.

Maybe they should include more cooking disasters (courtesy of Shinku) in season 3 (if there is even a season 3). Imagine this, Kanaria came for a visit, and as Shinku had promised, she made and served her pastry, which tasted horrible.

Kirakishou should take the helm as the new villain.

And yeah, at least let Suigintou come and visit the Sakurada household from time to time, for a variety of reasons (to watch Kunkun, to steal Yakult and to annoy Shinku).

And we definitely need to see Megu's character development.

And finally, I hope they introduce Mr. Umeoka, the home-teacher, in season 3. He appeared in manga, so he should also appear in anime.

He's Jun's homeroom teacher. He was actually the person who discovered Jun's talent for design and sewing in school.

If I remember correctly, in the manga, Jun was interested in a girl in his class called Kuwada Yuna. She was selected to be the 'princess' for their class in some school festival. When Jun knew about it, he started thinking of the design of a dress for her. The next day he found the sketch of the dress he designed pinned to the bulletin board. Later on during some assembly, Umeoka exposed him as the person who designed the dress and thus embarrassing him and caused him to be ridiculed by his classmates for his 'girlish' interests. This indirectly caused him to become a hikkikomori. Though Umeoka had no ill intent but he felt responsible for the whole incident.

Well, I'd personally like to see Gin starting to get more sociable with the other dolls. Of course, with the moderate effectiveness that we all know she would have. You know, getting there and making fun of everyone, however still not with as much evil intents as the Gin we knew from 1st season. More like a "Megu-softened Gin", per say.

And don't make fun of Shinkus' cooking =\ She's flammable, you know. Still, I'm sure she'd be able to do amazing things if she only had the guts (And knew how) to do it.

Rofl, this would be awesome... while Kira causes havoc and starts to rip off everyone's limbs and biting their heads off, Enju and Bara are living a happy couple-life in some old house in Scotland.

Never really been into Jpop, I listen to OSTs because they remind me of the anime. But I have just heard some of Hina's VA's songs and her voice is soooo nice. It is soft and is so touching... Must find more music by her!

I toke a wild shot and added 1 and 1 together so.., it can be possible that he was the person that gaved Jun the iniciative to start designing and sewing.

All and all its still far from a good speculation, since this is indeed the only information on the Homeroom Teacher that we have..

Yeah, I sort of agree with the awakening of the maestro.

Even if Kira is the main villain, I want new dolls to be introduced to cause havoc for the RM.

well like you say its farfetched.. and going on the very little I know about Home-teacher from the previous few posts, he only discovered the skills, as opposed to 'awakening' them (actually by pointing Jun out to the class, resulting in ridicule to Jun, he might as well have buried Jun's skills.) :p

If I remember correctly, Shinku and the rest doesn't know what caused Jun to become a hikkikomori but they have met Umeoka when he went to Jun's house to try to persuade Jun to go back to school. I believe she feels that Umeoka may have something to do with Jun's condition but doesn't know the specific details.

Then he suffered food poisoning and collapsed as he tried to creep to the toilet. And Shinku panicked.

That will be very funny to see.

That would be funny apart from Shinku would blame it on her servant being too weak, whilst Sui would kick him in the shins and call him puny human for blaming her

Still, that pic with Bara and Kira is pretty good. The art's nice but his face and expression skills are kind of poor. Still amazing stuff.

Designed to allow you to build a poseable plastic armature, as a base for sculpting your own original figures, this single runner contains all the parts for a humanoid, with appropriate joints for movement. Total height of the completed armature is about 19 cm (approximately 1/8 scale).

If you would like to make a replica of a RM, i'd suggest you got a bigger one, since the dolls' proportions aren't easy to figure ( we all know they have big heads, come on. That's what makes them c00t3). I'm actually planning oto ask my grandmother for advice in this =P She's pretty good with porcelain stuff.

And I think it would be funny if this happens.

Shinku managed to make her cookies look presentable. She left it on table. Jun came and saw cookies, and thinking that Suiseiseki made it (we all know she is good with the cookies), ate it.

Then he suffered food poisoning and collapsed as he tried to creep to the toilet. And Shinku panicked.

That will be very funny to see.
What would be great about her reaction is that on one hand she will be scared out of her wits and be feeling guilty, because we all know she loves Jun, but at the same time, Shinku being Shinku, yeah, she will be trying to retain every last shred of her dignity. THAT WOULD MAKE A TOTALLY GREAT LAUGHABLE SCENE. Sigh. If only staffwriters surfed the forums. Plenty of great ideas from fans.

I think an upload centre for images (maybe even AMVs or FanComics?) is a great idea, this thread has plenty of image contributors. In fact, I think images forms the bulk of the posts these days.

You forget.., she is after all the antagonist of the series, specialy in season 1...; despite her complexed emotions and the reasons that drove her to play such a role.., her personality is one of an evil-character.., not realy a devious one.

As for season 2, in which compassion takes over the main spot in her personality.., she still acts as an antagonist facing the other Rozen Maiden.., to her, all what matters is for her achieve her goal (to obtain all the Rosa Mystica), no matter how she does it... (all for Megu); which again.. doesn't realy demonstrate a devious side to her.

In fact.., I would never count Gin as devious, even if you are someone she realy cares for, like Megu.., she will always have that self-centered, closed personality..., even though inside she does realy care for you.., I recon she has shutted herself in spite so much before (see season 1) that she will realy never let go of those feelings... so.., its natural that you will never see the same demonstrations of afection that lets say Shinku or Sui would have over Jun for example.

Rozen's creativity when comming to the doll's weapons significantly decreased with each doll he made. Here's the proof:

Doll 1: Suigintou
"Oh, I know! I'll give her the ability to form a sword from those raven feathers! Hehehe..."

"Okay, what's as cool as a sword... ummm... nothing. Next coolest? A violin! Yeah!"

Heh my pc was down tonight, I just spent the whole night dusting it, swapped out all the fans and noisy hdds for silent ones, switched it on and found the psu fan is still noisy, silent my arse!

Back on topic.

Just finished a Mai Otome marathon with a friend and we both enjoyed it a lot. Of course RM is still top of the list, but we did get talking. For me RM S1 had a great ending, and S2 was good too but in a different way. S1 left me satisfied with a few questions about Rozen, the maidens and the alice game. S2 I was left craving for more, but I was not unhappy with the way it finished (even though one of my favorite characters got junked). I can't think of many other anime last year that I felt happy with all the way through from begining to end.... Even Hina's death in my mind was justified and well executed.

btw way who ever suggested for me to check out yahoo auctions for RM phone straps my wallet curses you!!! joking :p

You forget, Shinku also does have a melee weapon, altough not a sword like Gin or Bara, but still, her pink Cain with the reb ribbon is a weapon :p

I know it is a bit silly still, but that Cain can match both Gin & Bara's sword's; in fact its thanks to it that Shinku won the final battle vs Bara.

Altough your point stands the same.., it was just to mencione that Shinku doesn't only have the petals :)

It seems to me that the Rosa Mysticae go to whoever is closer / and willing to acept them.

Reasons for such are.., when Bara defeated Suisei Seki, her Rosa Mystica should have gone to Bara, but instead Kana jumped up and grabbed it first, thus acepting it into herself altough Bara was the one who had defeated Sui.

Also.., when Gin takes Sou's Rosa Mystica, her body hovers mid air while the Rosa Mystica exits her body, in this we see Sui flying towards both, same as Gin in hope of catching the Rosa Mystica first; altough Sui makes the mistake in grabbing Sou's body in the process and thus ends losing Sou's Rosa Mystica to Gin.

The only reason why Sou's Rosa Mystica wasn't then acepted by Shinku when it exited Gin's body was simply like Bara said, "She is atracted by Suisei Seki"; since Bara already had her Rosa Mystica, Sou's went straight into her body aswell.
It might be the only time such an exception happens, this because Sui and Sou are twins.

I wouldn't think so..., "SHINKU" :p did after all defeat Bara, the only reason she did not "finish the job" was due to Jun.
All and all I don't think Gin would have any regrets whatsoever, she aswell would always put her medium's will / wishes first (altough she would never admit it) :)

For Shinku, it should be a red eyepatch, for Suiseiseki, red or green will do. Hina can just have an unyu-eyepatch.

I think it Gin will treat Shinku differently from now on... Why? Because Shinku understands Gin more then anyone else now (as she has shared her memories) also the memory sharing proccess maybe a 2 way process. Sure Gin may think that she dreamed Shinku's thoughts, but there must have a postive effect on their relationship, especially Shinku's reaction to how Bara manipulated Gin.

Oooo good point I forgot the KK issue... They may fight over the affections of him or they may decide to create the worlds number one fan site. Who knows if KK has his own anime we may see a couple of hardcore fans posting like crazy on suki :p

What they need to do is to get Kaneria hooked as I am sure Micchan will be willing to buy all the stuff for her and then Sui can bully her and take away her goodies and then sell the items to the rest for Jun's affection and attention...

I think Kanaria is already hooked. Even Suiseiseki is hooked, despite not admitting it. All the dolls are hooked, except Kirakishou, I think.

Maybe that will be the reason why Kirakishou fights, to defend herself from Shinku and the rest who are hell-bent on making her watch Kunkun till she gets hooked.

I doubt Shinku will pimp off Jun. She is not that devious, and her act of pimping Jun away is totally against all her aristocratic values. Doing so makes her a scum, not an aristocrat. And if the drama CD is right, she is possibly a bit possessive when it comes to Jun as well.

But Suigintou may be devious enough to try and pursuade Shinku to pimp Jun away. After all, Suigintou won't be choosing Megu because that will only shorten her life alot more.

But Suiseiseki will very likely do what is mentioned above, but after the death of Souseiseki, I doubt she will have the mood to go around bullying Kanaria (she can't bully Hina. She's dead).

Altough she has not yet been introduced in the series, I have to dissagree..., despite the fact that both have Black wings doesn't make her look-a-like like Gin :p
The face is diferent, the hairstyle is compleatly diferent (despite the colour beeing white aswell), and even the eyes are diferent (also blue colour); plus.. she smiles, as in happy...

Thus I honestly have to say from that little I have seen.. she realy doesn't fit Gin's personality whatsoever.., even if its just because of that little smile in the OP :p

Do you know Meia Gisborn from Vandread / Vandread - The 2nd Stage..

In my opinion she looks exactly like her, apart from the hair colour beeing white and well, the wings.. :p

But the face, hairstyle = Meia from Vandread

I still say she looks nothing like Suigin Tou.., as for any pictures of the series, I can't find any Solwy.., there is no information on animenfo.com about it aswell...; but its pretty understandable.., episode 2 was just released a few hours ago..

I had missed that post. I've been watching (and loving) Utawareru Mono since the first episode, and I'm planning on keeping up with it. It's pretty sad to only watch one episode a week (Bleach, which has been sucking badly too), so I decided to pick UtaMono as my second pick.

And yes, like you said, the character has nothing to do with Gin. In fact, Utawareru Mono features characters with many different animal characteristics. Eruruu and Aruruu, for example, have dog (fox?) ears and tails, as well as most of the other characters in the story, so it's not something to be surprised at if they put someone with bird wings in there.

As for screen, don't have one from the anime, but I've got a CG image from the CG pack for the game. She looks identical, anyway.

Me?

Number 1 is Suigintou. Her ruthlessness, cruelty, deviousness and cunningness attracts me. And also, I like her scheming nature. It just reminds me of me. And yes, she has the fanciest design among all the Rozen Maiden. And also, the revelation that she is a rather depressing doll just makes her more attractive.

Number 2 is Souseiseki. She is calm and a know-it-all. Also reminds me of myself, seeing that I seldom panic and usually remains calm. And her attacks...aggressive.

Next comes Shinku. A tea lover is always in my good books. And she is calm, wise and a pacifist, reminds me of someone I'm fond of. And she is also classy (the only un-classiest thing she had ever done so far is being obssessive with Kunkun).

Then is Suiseiseki. If I will ever have a little sister, I rather if she is like Suiseiseki. The demonic nature of Suiseiseki, added with her shyness, just makes her very cute.

Then goes Kanaria. I liked the way she wields her violin.

Hinaichigo takes the sixth spot. She is noisy and childish, but she does mature. That gives her some plus points.

Last place goes to....ahem.....don't kill me please.....Barasuishou. She totally lacks personality, so I find her very uninteresting.

Mine is Shinku first for the way she treats Jun when trying to help him with his problem. I like her for the way she fights and the way she decides not to fight. The way she trys to mold everyone into her servant adds a nice line of comedy with out demeaning her.

My second if you have not guessed so far is Hina because she is the most fun. I also love her character for the amount of growth, she in my mind has grown the most out of the maidens second to Jun me thinks.

Then it is Sui for the way her outer character conflicts so much with her inner, she knocked Gin from this spot.

Gin because she is such a deep "evil" character.

Do I really have to say who is my favorite doll? It's pretty obvious for everyone. But I'll say it again.

My favorite doll is Barasuishou (perhaps Kirakishou as well) because I like characters who are mysterious and mess things up (except for episode 4, how else can she get inside the house?) quietly rather than Suigintou that destroys everything. Also, her ability to manipulate crystals is just amazing and her sword is just as good. Appearance is also good.

Those are my reasons. ^^

Well, judging by what I know from everyone already I can say the choices haven't surprised me so far.., specialy when it came to the one's Blitz chose :p
So... I recon you won't be surprised at mine either :)

The first.., of course.. could only be Suigin Tou !

Gin was actualy the only reason why I ever decided to watch Rozen Maiden.., I saw a few wallpapers of her and then started reading on how she was such a magnificent antagonist that I just had to see it for myself.

Needless to say I was surprised, not only at that but at her entire progress through the anime up until the end of season 2...; not many characters have such a complexed emotions which realy drives me to understand them...

So naturaly.., It would be impossible to resist Gin.

For second.., I'll have to go with Suisei Seki

What an unbelivable character.., so beyond Devious and yet also so Shy.., its just alot of fun to watch her.., plus.., if there is any word that is probably bigger then the entire Rozen Maiden anime.., it has to be the "~Desu" that our dear Sui so loves to use :)

Third.., might shock a few.., but I'll have to go with Sousei Seki

Her role in the story progressed at a slow rate altough her emotions are what realy draws me to her, despite always beeing calm and serene, the feeling of self-devotion towards what she belives to be right is just outstanding.

She is yet a tragic character though.., for at the end she does realise that her choice was rong into taking part of the Alice Game.., yet.., it is too late for her to go back..; which realy makes her end pretty dramatic.

Fourth... Shinku.

Altough it is known that most people who like Gin above all characters realy dislike Shinku :p , well.. I kind of share that feeling but all and all I have to say the story couldn't be done without her so..

Shinku is a very nice character aswell.., her emotions shifted alot from season 1 where she thought she had to fight to become Alice with no regrets of the others to when season 2 she became aware of the losses in battle and how it would be better if the Alice game never toke place.., and that realy built her caracter from a snobby aristrocrat to a much more sentimental Shinku inside.

Fifth.. Bara Suishou

Well.. she is the main antagonist in the second season, but as far as that role is will always (at least to me) remain more of a filler for Gin..., altough as her caracter goes, she is deeply silent, very un-emotional.., which well, lets face it.., realy suits her and is actualy what is best of her personality.

Altough, she does have feelings, she loves Enju very much and that reason alone is why she fought all the others, she wanted to prove herself to her father by becoming a better doll then any of which Rozen had created.

Now, for Sixth... I can't choose between both so..
Its Kanaria & Hina Ichigo

I kind of left the chibi's for last.. because well.., they're realy not what drew me to this anime.., altough they are alot of fun to watch.., I don't see the point of them apart from giving another type of content; which is not a bad thing though.

There where alot of scenes in which due to these 2 that we surely laughted alot, specialy in the "Stairs" episode from season 1 and the 3rd episode of season 2.

They both are tremendous clutz's, but despite this Hina does have a very sad ending.. which kind of makes me a bit sad to leave her so down in the list.., but all and all, much her like Kana are (like all the RM characters) good characters.., its just.. to me.. well.., my preferences are listed as above :p

And that's all I guess..

Next time please.., don't post such hard questions..., I'd be better off trying to explain why Shinku likes tea over Yakult..

First for me is Suiseiseki desu!!!

I began to appreciate her character in episode 4 of Träumend. Contrary to her exterior appearance in past episodes, Suiseiseki turns out to have the most common sense and most heart ^.^ She's the first doll - and initially the only one - to realise how pointless the Alice Game really is. As Jun says, why would sisters who love each other so much go about killing each other...

This is actually what I like more about the second season than the first: The dolls begin to question the purpose of the Alice Game and its very necessity. In the first season, everyone seemed to take it for granted, hmm. I like how the second season shows the "Game" to be the cruel emotional torture it really is. Even if they're "only dolls", the way everything is set up is very effective.

As for theories about why Rozen set up the Alice Game in the first place, this is the one I agree with most:

Heh my pc was down tonight, I just spent the whole night dusting it, swapped out all the fans and noisy hdds for silent ones, switched it on and found the psu fan is still noisy, silent my arse!
What the-... The same thing just happened to me.. spent 20 bucks on two silent chassis fans, and found it was the psu fans making all the noise after all. I was so dissed..

Anyway, has anyone ever questioned why Suigintou's Roza Mystica goes to Shinku in the end of Traumend? I think it is because while Suigintou hates Shinku to the very core, she also respects Shinku as a worthy opponent, and so prefers to be defeated by no other doll but Shinku, and in the same time, also much prefers if Shinku's the one who possesses her Roza Mystica. Perhaps that's why Suigintou's Roza Mystica goes to Shinku after Barasuishou 'junked' her.
I also think that for the plot and character relationship between Shinku and Gin to develop further in S3 (i'm crossing my fingers) Shinku had to know what drove Gin to fight again, and Shinku getting Gin's RosaMystica allowed Shinku to understand that Gin was doing it for Megu. For one, that would help Shinku to forgive Gin, and (try to) reconcile with her.

Oki..., so I've just downloaded the first Utawarerumono episode, and saw the character you mean.

Altough she has not yet been introduced in the series, I have to dissagree..., despite the fact that both have Black wings doesn't make her look-a-like like Gin
The face is diferent, the hairstyle is compleatly diferent (despite the colour beeing white aswell), and even the eyes are diferent (also blue colour); plus.. she smiles, as in happy...

Thus I honestly have to say from that little I have seen.. she realy doesn't fit Gin's personality whatsoever.., even if its just because of that little smile in the OP
Yeah.. Guess I saw feathers, the wings, the dress and got too excited.. (screaming: OMG THATS GIN!!) Yep, its a happy smile, so I think she'll be a good guy character.

Same here. You all know who's my favourite. As for why? Well, I don't know, I just like her cuteness and the way she tries to hide her feelings. Its interesting that I started out not liking her at all, tot her design was so old fashion, but she grew on me I guess. Second would be Hina, for the reason that shes the most innocent, but yet with much inner strength when its needed (the mail box ep, her death ep). Third would be... okay.. Gin la.. I like her because she is one of the more complex characters in the show, she has to be, to be a successful antagonist. Fourth; Shinku... like her dignified manner, but overall, her character (as in attitude) isnt very appealing to me, I guess its because theres nothing really outstanding bout it. 6th would be Sou, yes I agree shes the only one with her head on striaght, but that makes her very boring :p 6th and 7th will go to Bara and Kira, I put them there simply because I don't know much about them, I mean, how can I like someone I don't know much about? Last, Kanaria. I don't like Kanaria. Period.

Lol. Very fitting. Isn't there in one of the Traumend episodes where Gin-sama comes back? In that episode, it showed Gin-sama and Shinku fighting over a trench, leading me to believe that that battle was sometime in World War 2.

Care to suspect that Hitler was under the control of either Shinku or Gin-sama, and the other is in the Allied side?

On the question of parents and anime, who here actually was able to get theirs to watch it and enjoy it? And to keep it on topic ish was it RM? For me yes it was since I was so desperate to see the whole of RM S1 I downloaded the Hikari version (chinese subs) and my parents who are HK chinese actually sat down with me and watched it when they visited. Did they enjoy it? I believe so. I found it amusing the way they commented on how they would have dealt with Jun. If my parents had to deal with Jun I would have felt very sorry for him....

One of my bigest fears on this thread was..., what if someone would to ask which and why to you are the best of the Rozen Maiden...

In which I then would have to mencione all of them and explain why I placed them in the selection which I did..; given the fact that there are 7 characters and each is compleatly diferent then the other on a tremendous amount of aspects.. you can see where my worries came from..

Altough I think I found some words to summarize most of what aspects came to mind at the time..., all very summarized of course..

I never did really study after I discovered Rozen Maiden. I must have told that some 45+ pages ago. I stopped reading books after I had Traumend.

I'm also one of the luckiest bastard on earth to have recurring topics that I was previously good at ... I don't study, and still pass well. Great.

Rozen Maiden is a lucky charm. However, after my hangover on the Rozen Maiden thread I guess I have to dethrone RM as my top anime of all time. I rewatched Shingetsutan Tsukihime, and it rightfully should be there (for me anyway). I guess RMT is now only no. 2 ...

Nope, folks - don't get me wrong. Shingetsutan Tsukihime is a tragically majestic anime, that's true (for me), but it doesn't generate conversation - because everything has been said and is there already. Although people complain of its plot holes, the more I watch it, the more I feel that those who have stated that there WERE plot holes in the series were only confused or blinded by a complex anime.

Watching ST was like reading Faulkner for me ... it was difficult yet fun, harrowing yet beautiful. When you plod through it, however, you discover that everything that had been needed to know had been either subtly said or implied. Everything is there: you just have to fix it up.

No, I'm not downgrading RM. Watching it is comparable to reading Hemingway (both Hemingway and Faulkner are my personal favorites in literature). Nothing is implied. Everything is plainly said. Everything is shown. Everything is expressed. Its beauty comes from that something beneath that simplicity that is perceptive of the world around us yet is difficult to grasp or grapple at.

Both are equally talented anime shows. One shows the subtlety of imagery, the hidden or double meaning of words. The other shows the depth of simplicity. Both are majestic. I just realized I really liked Tsukihime more.

Oh, no. I'll stay here. I'll praise everyone who praises RM - yes, all you. You are great!

(By the way, pardon for the allusions to literary figures. I think my hangover and thirst/dehydration are getting to me. I hope I have been lucid enough to clarify my views. The posts moments ago were posts of lucid joy. Here is a post of schizoid seriousness.)

I also totally suggest you watch Tsukihime. Although it WILL be boring if one expects a joyride that is RM. I also suggest you guys read Faulkner and Hemingway. Even if they aren't required. You'd realize that they are great writers ...

'A Rose for Emily' for Will and 'A Clean, Well-lighted Place' for Papa (Hemingway) are good short stories to start with. You will see the excesses of Will ... and the spareness of Papa ... and both their majesty. And you will also see what I mean.

Now I must go wash ... I gotta buy water ...

Season 3... I think there must be a sequel of some sort, whether it's a third series, a movie, or a direct-to-video thingy, whatever it's called. The second strongest clue (after the obvious = what Rozen told Shinku) is probably Kirakishou, who's suddenly sprung on the viewer in the last minute of the last episode with no fanfare whatsoever. Honestly, if a sequel isn't planned, why push out Kirakishou??

For me, it must have a happy ending for Kirakishou and Barasuishou although I really doubt it based on what happened to the villains in both seasons.

Hasn't Barasuishou already crumbled, exploded, shattered beyond repair? The only "happy" ending for Barasuishou would be for Rozen or Enju to create another doll like her, and then that doll really wouldn't be Barasuishou, would she? It's just as Barasuishou isn't Kirakishou, but a half-accurate copy of her.

Season 3... I think there must be a sequel of some sort, whether it's a third series, a movie, or a direct-to-video thingy, whatever it's called. The second strongest clue (after the obvious = what Rozen told Shinku) is probably Kirakishou, who's suddenly sprung on the viewer in the last minute of the last episode with no fanfare whatsoever. Honestly, if a sequel isn't planned, why push out Kirakishou??

Hasn't Barasuishou already crumbled, exploded, shattered beyond repair? The only "happy" ending for Barasuishou would be for Rozen or Enju to create another doll like her, and then that doll really wouldn't be Barasuishou, would she? It's just as Barasuishou isn't Kirakishou, but a half-accurate copy of her.

Like you, I doubt Kirakishou will have a happy ending. But I do want Kirakishou to be as insane as she is depicted in the manga.

Oh, haha, I don't know about Kirakishou. I was addressing blitz1/2 who said that he/she wanted both Kirakishou and Barasuishou to have happy endings.

I found it amusing the way they commented on how they would have dealt with Jun. If my parents had to deal with Jun I would have felt very sorry for him....

That would be true for all Asian parents! I guess that's why Peachpit purposely left out the parents when they were writing the story :p .

However, I thought Nori was a bit too gentle with Jun when I watched the first season. Most elder sisters I know would kick such a brother off this planet :heh:

I honestly don't think Bara will make a comeback like Gin or something similar Blitz.., realy sorry to tell you this.. since.., well I know how you like the character so much.. :p

But her role is done.., I guess the same goes for Enju..; they where the reason that Traumend started and when they're "end was near", sort of speak.., its much like Laplace No Ma says.. "thus this concludes our joyfull play... for now..."

We did see her shattering when in the arms of Enju.., not just outside, but I belive her entire body just simply broke into pieces..; along with the arm she already was missing during the fight in the Alice game.., we then see the pieces of clay ? / material she was made off, falling apart from her body..

Her left hand turns into pieces, same goes for her right leg inside, and then the sides of the face (from what we saw though), Enju then hold her firmly against his chest while she was brakeing apart, so we realy can't tell how much of her actualy was left.., if any at all..

It still seems strange to me on what realy did happen to Enju.., since the Rosa Mysticae left Bara's body when she was destroyed.., we only saw a huge light embracing her and Enju until it dissapeared and the Rosa Mystica appareaed..

Maybe Enju jumped into another N-field ? Is it possible that he choose to simply dissapear with Bara, since he saw no longer reason to continue alive since his most cherished creation was beeing destroyed ?

I don't know if we will get any answers to those questions.., and honestly.., there are alot more others in what relates to Rozen Maiden..

But I can "almost" safely assume that if season 3 does happen ( please let it happen :p ) that I doubt we will see Bara again..
We will surely see Kira though, not all is bad news for you Blitz :)

And the series turns into a romantic tradegy. Jun declaring his undying love for Shinku and running away from home with her, with Suiseiseki, backed by the parents, pursuing them.

And we get ourselves a sad ending.

It's basically an anime about a boy who locks himself in his own world because of problems at school. The story gets deeper as it goes (as far as S1 is concerned), though. He then "orders" a doll, which turns out to be Shinku, a living doll from the Rozen Maiden series. Other dolls come in, and all that.

It's hard to explain when your brain isn't working properly.

It is obvious that Barasuishou will never return. She did shatter into dust. And I would think that Enju would probably crumble from depression, seeing his future bride shattering to dust, and would decide to lock himself up and refusing to get out. Probably even give up in dollmaking.

And it will be up to Rozen to come and drag him out and pursuade him to make dolls again, though after what he had done to Rozen's 'daughters', this is unlikely.

Begone, Barasuishou. Hello Kirakishou!

Oh, more Jun and Shinku moments (eg, Jun brushing Shinku's hair, Jun sewing while Shinku watching, etc etc) is definitely in order.

Well, the situation is the same for a lot of other series, including Full Moon wo Sagashite.

On the other hand, Rozen Maiden is a lot more recent and a thread of 112 pages is quite something. No other thread on the "Fansub" category's first page is as long!

Watch RM for the characters (depth and development of chars in RM is one of its strongest points), for the great OSTs, for the feel-good-moments (i.e, beaten good guy picking himself up from the dust and pwning the bad guy), for the uber cute in a funny comic way moments (of which there are MANY.. that will literally make you laugh OUT loud; it made me!) and not forgeting the heart wrenching sad moments (mainly in Season2, which WILL make you cry).

My point: Dude, if there is a show that is worth watching, its this one.

I've done it several times, although my burgers tend to break as they are a little too gourmet. I can't do the flower tops no more since I used a flower shaped pan I found in Paris and the handle broke. One of my chef friends who is a RM fan uses an up turned flower shaped cookie cutting thingy and cracks the egg into that. Its really important to upturn it if u are using a non stick frying pan or u can scratch the non stick side. Also it gets bleeping hot since it is metal so be careful or u may end up like the Nazi guy in Indiana Jones, although you will have a flower on your hand instead of a amulet....

Oh and before anyone says anything, it actually is quite difficult to get the flower right, the bleeping yolk has a tendency to go towards the edge making it look really bad and also the weight is wrong so it tends to not stay on top of the burger... To get around this let the white drop in first and go semi white and then it will act as a glue holding the yolk in the middle.

Also from what I've been told there are two types of Japanese hamburgers (could you correct me if I am wrong please), there are the ones we are used to in the west and also the ham-bagu which is flavoured with more traditional Japanese stuff and I've been told it is steamed!
