Hmm... should it be Mnemosyne or Mnemosyune ???If you go by katakana, it should be Munemosyune/Munemoshune (same thing, different romanization), but the greek god in question is rightly spelled Mνημοσύνη or romanized Mnemosine/Mnemosyne. Take your pick or just go with the official romanization (the wisest choice, IMO).

Mnemosyune -Mnemosyne no Musume-tachi-

Spoiler Tagged for NSFW Images

http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/1818/up237996ku2.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

The Mnemosyne -Mnemosyne no Musume-tachi- anime seiyuu (animation voice actors) for Lola (Lora, Loura, Laura, whatever), Oohara Sayaka, and Yamanobe Sayara (she has six kanji in her name), Tanaka Rie, made their appearance in episode 17 of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai this week. Oohara Sayaka voices Rika's mother (Rika mama), while Tanaka Rie voices the mysterious, long- and silver-haired woman (Nomura/Takagi) who, in design and in voice, unmistakably reminds all too many of another famous Tanaka Rie character in Rozen Maiden.

Tanaka Rie's character in Higurashi Kai has caused quite a stir and a lot of chatter on Higurashi and various other threads at Japan's huge 2ch forums (http://www2.2ch.net/2ch.html), from anime boards to game boards to voice boards. The Higurashi staff, one Japanese viewer says, is paying homage to Tanaka Rie and her now legendary acting performance as Suigintou, affectionately known as "Ginsama."

Many others would agree.

What do badass schoolgirl Kuki Ageha & evil scientist Yamanobe Sayara have in common? (http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost.php?p=1265779&postcount=30)

In the sexy, hardboiled science fiction action anime, Mnemosyne -Mynemosyne no Musume-tachi-, Tanaka Rie voices Yamanobe Sayara, head of Aoyama Pharmaceutical Company's Sayama Laboratory. The haughty, quite sadistic Sayara conducts illegal experiments at the laboratory.

Tanaka Rie is very happy to play Sayara, who she describes as a considerably sadistic character and a "kowai [scary] oneesan." (http://www.fan.to/news.php?news_seq=7921)

Yamanobe Sayara appears to be another one in Tanaka Rie's evergrowing line of antagonistic, evil, and villainous roles: Morganna Mode Gone in .hack//SIGN, Suigintou in Rozen Maiden, Tomoe Marguerite in My-Otome, Nomura/Takagi in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai, etc.

Anime images from goo support Yamanobe Sayara's description as a sadist.

Seiyuu seem to fit their characters well. Rin appears to be in her mid twenties, but her actual age is unknown. Mimi appears to be in her late teens, but her actual age is also unknown. Laura looks her age. Apos is a boy. Sayara is evil.

Sekirei Favorite Character Poll on AtWiki Japan (http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost.php?p=1181197&postcount=21)

In the Sunday, September 30, 2007 (http://www.tanaka-rie.com/diary_7/?20070930) entry on her blog, Tanaka Rie indicates that she has landed a lot of regular roles in anime and will announce them later.

Because Yamanobe Sayara in Mnemosyne -Mnemosyne no Musume-tachi- (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=8931) has been about the only major regular role in anime confirmed since that announcement on her blog, Tanaka Rie (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/people.php?id=697) (Kirijou Mitsuru) likely will be one of the Japanese voice actors in the Persona 3 game reprising their roles in the Persona 3 anime. Some of the other seiyuu from the original Japanese cast in the game may also be reprising their roles in the anime.

EDIT: duckroll has more specific information on the anime in his Persona - Trinity Soul (http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?p=1242825) thread.

Well, "Mirai Nikki" literally means Future Diary (or Diaries), and it's a manga by Esuno Sakae that ran in Monthly Shounen Ace in 2006.

I don't see anything about it on the website for Dengeki G's, or on Shounen Ace's, so definitely still unconfirmed at this point

But it's entirely plausible. It looks like the manga is reasonably popular and recent, plus now seems to be the time all the companies are kicking their announcements for winter in gear.

Rozen Maiden Web Radio Bara no Kaori no Garden Party Bangai-Hen Suigintou no Koyoi mo Ennu~i Vol.3 CD

Release Date: December 5, 2007

Price: 2,800 yen (tax included) (http://www.animate-shop.jp/ws/commodity_param/ctc/cd/shc/0/cmc/4073643)

The scheduled release date for the Rozen Maiden: Träumend Original Drama CD ~Christmas-Hen~ in Japan has been moved back from Wednesday, November 21, 2007 to Friday, December 21, 2007.

Released Saturday, November 10, 2007 in Japan, the December 2007 issue of Animage magazine, published by Tokuma Shoten, reportedly indicates that the January 2008 issue of Animage, slated to go on sale Monday, December 10, 2007 in Japan, will include as an extra gift an Animage original edition of "Gin-sama Chronicle 'Suigintou no Koyoi mo Ennu~i'" Internet radio CD. (http://p2.chbox.jp/read.php?url=http://news22.2ch.net/test/read.cgi/moeplus/1195137954/)

The "Suigintou mo Koyoi mo Ennu~i" ("Suigintou's 'It's Ennui Again, Tonight'") Internet radio show, hosted by none other than the silver haired, black winged doll of darkness herself, Suigintou aka Gin-sama aka Tanaka Rie, has proven itself to be a popular program - popular enough, at least, to have a third CD scheduled to go on sale in Japan.

With PEACH-PIT (http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost.php?p=1247026&postcount=6) finally receiving Rozen Maiden fan mail from Comic BIRZ and publisher Gentousha after all these years, the new Rozen Maiden ~träumend~ drama and Suigintou radio CDs going on sale in December 2007, and anime oriented Animage pushing its own CD version of the Suigintou Web radio show, a number of Japanese fans think that the Rozen Maiden manga may start up again (somewhere), and that the much more popular Rozen Maiden anime will get a third season.

Only time will tell.

I think you're mistaking this manga for something completely different. The only mentions of Vampire Knight in this thread is someone's wishlist (http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?p=1130312#post1130312) and an earlier unbacked rumour (http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?p=1036117#post1036117).

Why'd they decide to do a Batman Japanese anime after all these years?

Well, there's the recent growth of anime/manga culture in the US. I guess an important factor is that Japanese studios are directly pushing for American co-productions since that stuff actually makes money (i.e. Gonzo recently announced plans to concentrate primarily on two types of shows: highly otaku-centric stuff and hip American-style titles). While anime DVD sales are generally struggling in both Japan and the US, shows like Afro Samurai and Witchblade have done relatively well.

Did you read the article? It's a promotional DVD for the 2nd movie. Besides why wouldn't they make this. They have worked with American producers before on Batman series. Japanese studio's also did animatrix.

As for why I wondered why they were doing this after al this time, I asked that because Batman is decades old. If they were going to make a full-blown Batman Japanese anime (not just an animated series with Japanese participation), why didn't they make one before? (remember that I asked this question before I found out that it's supposed to promote an upcoming movie :p )

New anime announcement:

Telepathy Shoujo Ran

The original--Telepathy Shoujo Ran Jiken Notes by Asano Atsuko--is a series of children's books published under the AoiTori Bunko label. Not that surprising since the 26-episode anime is going to air on NHK Kyouiku TV. Anyway, the books have eventually spawned a shounen manga series in Shounen Sirius, and also a drama CD that was released (http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?p=873582&highlight=telepathy#post873582) back in March. The anime is set to air in Spring 2008.

Telepathy Shoujo Ran is a story of personal growth and friendship. Isozaki Ran is an energetic junior highschool student possessing ESP, but she doesn't notice it until she meets Naha Midori. Strange events start happening after she learns of her new powers, so she decides to investigate them together with Midori and her childhood friend Ayase Roi.

From MangaUpdates:

Another work by Reiko Shimizu, or rather her newest. This series is a disturbing manga about solving murder cases by applying the newly developed method of viewing the memory of dead people's brains. And as in every manga done by this mangaka, weird supernatural forces are of course included.

The first chapter is actually a prologue and is concentrated on the first case where this method was used. Chapter 2 is when the two main characters are introduced, so hang on!

Genre: Shoujo, Horror, Mystery, Psychological

Only "Kannagi".

Kannagi no Tori is a BL game, which has nothing to do with this >.<

New anime adaptation of Iron Linebarrels a 'real robot' manga by Tomohiro Shimoguchi. The manga itself is upto its 8th volume, supposedly its personally recommended by Mamoru Nagano.

The anime will be directed by Masamitsu Hidaka and character designs will be by Hirashi Hirai.

The story centers on a middle school boy named Kōichi Hayase who was seriously injured by an apparent accident: the fall of an artificial satellite in 2013. Hayase wakes up half a year later with strange powers. Then, in 2016, a mysterious 21-meter-tall robot named Linebarrel appears before him. Hayase joins Linebarrel's other pilot, Emi Kizaki, in fighting for Juda, the world's largest medical equipment maker which happens to secretly own seven Machina robots like Linebarrel.
