Is this just me or is animesuki not updating lately? Naruto 62 isn'tup un animesuki but it has been released and i am currently downloading it from ANBU-AonE's website. thanks for any replies.

Easy to overlook if you immediately scroll down to the torrents, but it's right there in the "news":

There is currently a problem with the system used to update the site. Due to this, no new torrents can be posted on all mirrors nor is the ul/dl information updated. We hope the system will be fixed soon so that we can add new torrents again.
So: not only you :(

Speaking of which, what is Anbu-AonE's website? It's not listed on AnimeSuki.
EDIT: Nevermind, found it. I was looking right at it. ^_^;

sorry... had the sam problem as Lord Raiden, i just looked right over it.
And it is back up again. Basically the updating system resides
on a different server than the main site, and the network on which
that server was located was down for hours.
But like I said... it's fortunately back up again.

It would be expensive for him to buy hosting on another server just so that he'd have a back-up system. Or did you mean to volunteer?

Well; i have no problem with installing the system on the main server (the new one) if this helps.

It's funny how the world seems to stop as animesuki goes down. without it, i have to browse dozens of sites to find new releases. animesuki saves sooo much time.

So far the system was kept ceperate as a security feature against attackers. This is the second time it happens over the last 48 hours and I it stopped me from completing some important stuff. I whish those guys(tech support) would figure what the hell is going on...
The latest news is not so good. The server on which the update
system is hosted is down again, and there are currently signs
the company hosting the server is going out of business.
I'm still reading through the thread on WebHostingTalk, but
I may need to move the system to another server. The tracker
for AnimeSuki Torrents was also hosted on that server, but I've
already moved that to a temporary server for the moment.
I guess I'll have to spend most of the weekend finding a new
server company that will suit my needs. Fortunately I've already
found a good candidate, but need to do more research first.
And thanks for the offers to host the update system so far,
but I would need another server to host EZ (and possible other
little projects) as well...

That totally sucks dude. Sorry to hear about that. But it sure seems like there's a lot of webhosting companies droping left and right lately. I've seen it a lot as well because we've seen an influx of customers to our company as a result of so many webhosts going belly up. Kinda bothers me.
Latest update:
A replacement server has been ordered. The company I ordered
it from is supposed to be pretty fast with setup, but I'll see how
fast things will really go.

It sure seems like AS is having a lot of problems lately :) Forum crash update issues and so on...

the big problem, as long as it's online all the time on a good and
fast internet connection.

In any case, the update system is now back on a temporary
(and very slow) host. Due to the backups not being 100% up-to-date,
it will seem as if torrents that were already added have dissappeared,
only to be added again a day later in a different order.

I would give up my server for animesuki if it ever went down. only problem is that I only have a cable connection until i can find a better paying comp/network repair job (i've had the same summer job since i was 13). my server would be good enough to handle anything but my connection can't handle it all. but hey, a slow connection is better than no connection.
FYI: The update system is now back on a new server,
which is fast and all update scripts run very reliable on it (as far
as I can tell so far). So it would seem it is back to full operation.
Although you may have not noticed much of it, the main site (AnimeSuki.com)
also moved servers this week as well. There were some problems,
but they have been fixed.
