@Arimfe, you know, those landmarks are just the tip of the icebergWell, I didn't mean the arguments, but landmarks like the publishing of Asa, Rin and Kaede's books, Kaede's Saimoe victories and Kaede being featured in the AS forum banner.
We could have links to those posts in diary form in the 1st post to mark out all important events taken place.
I'll add those probably. Or any others that I might find although I think we're more or less covered. No ep 24 or Favorite Girl poll though, and it was a mess even then :p Not to mention that someone from our side got banned for cheating in that poll. Well, his heart was in the right place but I was royally pissed back then.

I think more people should review their past history of posts. I'm often surprised at stuff I wrote .... mainly though I notice I tend to repeat myself too much (however in my defense I'm often responding to the same post content --- just from a new poster).
Its kind of like teaching... you just resign yourself to saying the same sort of stuff every September a few thousand times.
Well, and those aren't even close to the original massacre. I believe the 2 final polls and the ep 24 discussion clearly demonstrate what happened during the time Kaede's and Asa's arc were airing :p
Looking back, I do think I became a tiny bit softer :p

That's so ironic because the shuffle forum itself was never issued the Thread Creation Limitation until 1-2 weeks ago:heh: Actually, I don't think they revise the older series forums until they get moved back into the "Current Series" section. For example, I can still create threads in the Monster forum. School Rumble had a similar thing happen when the second season started airing they took away the ability to create new forums, so they probably did the same thing when Shuffle Memories started.
Though it is funny because the mods quite frequently cite the Shuffle forum as the reason why people can't just make threads in the series forums any more. You would think it would have been the first forum to get locked.

That is the first post i spit out at AAA thread (and i have delete it ).. i was too carried away with the hate towards asa in kaede arc. Its frustrating to watch only and at last i found spot to take it all out ( you know where :rolleyes: )

Added the Asa dying thread in the archives section. LOL, it was a horrible battle of Man (KKK) versus monster. After browsing through some pages, it becomes apparent why we'll never get along with the AAA. :p Well, one can only hope that eventually greens will see the light.
True, however the members' list, excluding the pres and the VPs, doesn't distinguish between other members. However, you can PM KiNa and ask for approval of that rank, in which case I'll remove you from the standard KKK members list.
EDIT: Eh... That was answering the post below... Now it seems like I'm a prophet :p
You'd think they'd sign right up for the "Our Asa was horribly mischaracterized by the writers" theory... but oy vey....

Yeah, I felt for Sia. She basically came, was seen and went away. She had her moments with Rin, their relationship "evolved" with an "almost kiss" as climax and after that she practically disappeared.
The Primula and Nerine arc´s were good though as far as I can remember.

Meh, :heh: I can´t decide what to write.
To sum it up.
If they were planning on killing Asa, Rin should have died too, IMO, for maximal dramatic effect. It could make a sequel more interesting but on the other hand Kaede´s arc alone holds enough drama, excitement and material to build a future story on, and they screwed that up bigtime.
So all in all, whatever they would have done in the end wouldn´t have mattered much since they screwed up the best arc in the story.
True, not to mention that dying at that point won't really further the plot and unfortunately, Shuffle isn't a slice of life/drama series, it's harem. The result might probably be good and dramatic, but a bit out of place. And I'm seriously trying to find my Shuffle backup (but it seems to have disappeared) cause I wanted to get the exact line about Asa's reason for not using magic.
To answer the question on the AAA thread, from the numerous discussions back them, and if Vexx can take a look at the subs and verify it, those two:
1) she didnt want to come out as a freak (no offense to ama ofc ;_
2) she thought that magic will ruin her life (well it hasnt cause any good so far)
more or less SHOULD apply, but the reason she gave to Rin was "I don't want to make my mother sad". I mean... LOL...

Ah ok, I have it. First, she says she can't use magic because she's just human, although it's apparent later that that's not true. Then there's the whole flashback with Ama crying and saying that if she wasn't a demon, Asa would be normal (which means Ama feels responsible for Asa's condition). That had a strong impact on Asa, because she feels she caused pain and suffering to Ama. So she explains to Rin that:
"That's why I'm human. I'm just a regular human who can't use magic. I didn't inherit any demon blood. A normal child born from a normal father and mother. I will never make her sad again! I don't want to make her sad!"
There are some flaws in this whole thing. First of all, the more obvious one. Eh... I will never make her sad again, therefore I'll not use magic, so I'll die... Eh... right... That won't make my mother sad, no no...
Second, if the reason was purely for Ama's sake, why did she use magic in the end to save the blockhead? And if it was so strong a reason that she was willing to die for, why did she use magic in the end to save the blockhead? I mean... If I was so set on dying, I MIGHT have healed him back (if I'm one of those who can't see people die and do nothing), but I wouldn't want to see him for some time to say the least, if the reason for not using magic was so serious.
Now let's see the good points, analyze a bit and try to create a good case. There's Asa, whose behavior towards her mother was crap and blamed her for her illness, who finds out from a crying Ama that her mother is indeed responsible for her condition and blames herself for Asa's illness. Seeing Ama cry had a strong impact on Asa, so she vows to strive and be normal so that her mother won't have to feel responsible and cry because of her. Ok, so far so good. ALTHOUGH... if Ama knew Asa could be cured by using magic, why did she have to cry all over the place? Just tell Asa then truth and tell her to use magic. This wrong handling brought up Asa's obsession with being human.
Then we have Asa getting seriously ill again. Her obsession is still there, so she's not using magic because she wants to be normal and humans don't use magic. Now... There's the thing... She wants to remain normal so that her mother isn't sad (as Ama probably still feels responsible for Asa's fate). Problem is, her mother is already sad and Asa is at least your average human that can comprehend feelings, and it's ridiculous to think that her being sick isn't already making the mother sad... So? Well... Asa is obsessed with being normal and she's willing to take it to the extreme. It's no longer her mother's sake (or does anyone mean to tell me she can't see her mother being sad over her current condition?), it's for herself. It's an irrational obsession and it seems to be a very strong one, too, it CAN border on a psychotic state, which could actually explain why Asa may not understand that her mother IS sad NOW. However you might look at it, if her mother wasn't present at the hospital, we could actually believe the whole issue. However, her mother IS there with her, so either Asa isn't in contact with her surroundings due to her illness or something, or there's some strong psychological factor that forces her to retain her irrational belief DESPITE seeing her mother devastated, which makes me thing of psychotic symptoms. I mean, if it was just her belief that using magic will make her mother sad, it'd be one thing. But Asa seems oblivious to her mother being sad RIGHT NOW, BECAUSE Asa isn't using magic... eh... that's something else. And here they thought Asa was actually normal... Oh well...
And of course, then we have the finale. Rin's a moron, obviously, and hasn't thought about it very well, but whatever... So Asa uses magic to keep Rin alive (and being happy about it) ... Eh... Ok... is something of the above not fitting? If you were so determined to die for something, you dismiss it so easily for whatever reason? Thats a very good analysis Npal. Deathkillz has a point as well, something really, and I mean really drastic could snap someone out of a mindset such as Asa's. Particularly if the person involved is a loved one. Rin does the most drastic thing he probably can do and sadly the blackmail pays off. :( Surely there was a better way, Rin...
That being said the change is very sudden and too absolute to be truely plausible. If she wanted so badly to remain 'human' then surely her actions would be allong the lines of applying pressure and tying something around the arm and then phoning for an ambulance?
Maybe then when she realises that the abulance won't make it and Rin will die if she dosn't use magic, then that would be prehaps more sensible. As it stands she blubs, then tells HIM to go get help!
You know Rin even asks her 'what did Ama san really want? Was it for you to live as a human? Or was it not just to keep on living? To see you suffering is something neither Ama or I want.' Thats the most sense he made all series:p
But then did Rin become so much more important to her than her own mother?

Ah, but denial doesn't work with a reason. It works WITHOUT one. Asa has a reason for believing what she wants to believe. Well, the problem is that it's Rin and not Ama. If Ama was dying, then it could work. But Asa's initial cause of obsession is Ama. Asa can't even put 2 and 2 together (Ama is sad NOW, duh, a parent doesn't want his child to die in ANY case whatsoever), so I don't think Rin's attempt would be so shocking for one such as Asa. If Ama's life was in the line, I can see Asa using magic.
"She didn't even consider what death really was?" Eh... I believe someone's whose condition is getting worse each day and is practically on death's doorstep knows what death is.
And look at it this way. Asa thinks she's doing the right thing for her mother, and has her share of guilt for treating Ama like crap. And she seems pretty convicted to see that through because of that. If she loved Rin so much, she'd have just used magic for him. But she's dying not for her mother to live, but for her mother not to be sad. For a much lesser reason than death, she's willing to die. And for Rin's death, she cancels all that and chooses to use magic? The ONLY way I see her in her current state saving Rin is because she's one that can't leave people die, not out of love for him. And with that, she'd just hate him for blackmailing her into it, until her mother tells her otherwise.
@Stratocaster, indeed and Asa doesn't seem to get it, which shows that her condition is more than a simple conviction to remain human. And I don't believe Ama never ever mentioned that she wants Asa to use magic so she can be well. So besides Asa's delusional belief that her mother will be sad if she's not normal, Asa refuses to acknowledge both her mother's and Rin's pleas... And her guilt only reinforces her conviction not to use magic. The whole thing is one big pile of total irrationality from Asa's side.
And indeed. Someone slits your wrists and suddenly all the guilt and delusions you have fade away in the sight of eh... Rin dying?? As I said, if it was Ama, it'd be a totally different situation. But Rin... I'd feel forced to save him, if at all. And if we actually DO assume that there's a psychotic episode going on, there's a strong possibility that Asa wouldn't have saved him at all. The power of love... LOL... I'd wish people with mental issues were cured so easily :p You know, you can drift into major depression for NOT finding love and when someone comes out and proclaims undying love, etc etc, you don't believe him because your mind is functioning under the weight of depression. And not only that, it could actually make the symptoms worse because it triggers certain patterns of thought. MOST psychological disorders aren't cured simply by the power of love :p
However, I'm waiting for Vexx's take on the subject, since it's a new analysis and it wasn't discussed back then I think.
PS About the slight compliment. Nah, it's something that the greens will NEVER EVER accept. They think Asa is so normal, she's the prototype for normal behavior :p

denial can work with a reason...it because the fact that she has a reason which causes her denial ie reason being not wanting to hurt ama or to remain human or whatever cause her to go into denial that everything will be fine after she dies (what the hell!? ofc it wont be fine with ama crying her eyes out :mad: )...okey with that said i can see how screwed up her logic is...but what can i say? :p sometimes humans do pretty screwy things to prove a point...erm and her point was?

Eh... Did you actually read the initial post? I actually watched the part where she explains to Rin why she won't use magic and she clearly states this in the end:
"That's why I'm human. I'm just a regular human who can't use magic. I didn't inherit any demon blood. A normal child born from a normal father and mother. I will never make her sad again! I don't want to make her sad!" That's what she says when she finally tells Rin about it. You are free not to believe what she says, but I actually copied that from ep 23.
And actually, this whole thing above dismisses most of the above stuff :p Simple denial won't do. Denial occurs automatically and isn't susceptible to logic. Here, Asa CLEARLY states the reason why she doesn't use magic. She knows the reason behind her choices, she doesn't go into denial. Denial INVOKES a reason AFTER it has occurred (the effect "No, I don't believe it. No, it's not happening." Even if you ask for a reason why someone doesn't acknowledge something, IF you actually GET a reason, it'd be something... well... eh... matter of belief"). In Asa's case, she knows the reason behind her belief and she knows why she's doing what she does.
She states her reason to Rin pretty clearly. She doesn't seem to care what becomes of her mother. Damn, she doesn't seem to realize that her mother won't be ok. She displays a huge inability to reason regarding that matter, that's why I'm being driven to consider this whole thing as psychotic occurrence. What she wants is to remain human in her terrible belief that that's the way to not make her mother hurt again.
So overall... It's pretty messed up to invoke a "power of love" thingie. But yeah, many series just cope out through THE MIRACULOUS POWER OF LOVE (yeah, Gift :p)
Thanks.. I was waiting til I actually looked at the episode to get the exact quote before inserting foot in mouth. I'd have to say npal and deathkillz's thoughts provide some of the best "pro-Asa" analysis I've heard though it requires her to be just as psychotic as Kaede in her own way. So its actually a third view:
1) Asa == machiavellian
2) Asa == written so poorly by the writers that you'd think the Kaede and Asa squads would unite in lynching the writers.
3) Asa == psychotic levels of denial and rationalization
Entertainingly, I actually posted a "all the girls are insane" thought in a comedic rant over on Random Curiosity, here's the important part:

6) Kareha: out of the blue at the end, informs Asa that Rin is so cool she’s going to join the fun — actually this was kind of hilarious.
7) Rin: somewhere around halfway through the series his brains were swapped out for mush and he stopped making sense (some really wretched writing).
Before anyone trumpets “anti-Asa” … I think an Asa-ending story could have been well-written and very powerful, along with a great storyline for Sia and Kaede. Its just that the production staff can’t seem to write their way out of a paper bag (which they proved to most people by following up with the disaster called “Soul Link” afterwards).
Somewhat parallel thinking?

Why do all the girls have to have dark, tragic happenings in their past. Thats what I found myself thinking as the anime wound on. I'm guessing that this was also in the game story but I just felt it kinda got over done. Maybe this helped to give them character but surely one of them had a happy life? Right? Its not that we're scrutinzing too closely.. its that we're paying attention at all! :)
I've never really bought the excuse "well, its magic" in fantasy settings as a defense for lousy storytelling. Magic can be believable within a story world if it follows a self-consistent ruleset. Otherwise you run into the Great Star Trek Fail problem (an episode would write itself into a corner which they would solve with technobabble ... problem is they've established that technobabble and now it haunts them in the future stories because that techno-magic has been established).
Most of your "maybe" scenarios would explain a number of issues.. problem is they just aren't there in the screenplay... and poetic license is often another "excuse" that gets a writer a "C-" in creative writing when it isn't built into the framework they establish.

Then you make her a selfless sacrificial lamb that would die for ANYONE. And yet, never did it occur to her that going out with Rin would harm Kaede (she knew Kaede loved Rin). Never did it occurred to her in the hospital AFTER Kaede attacked her that she's the cause of Kaede's suffering in the present and, being the selfless individual you want her to be, just falls back because she doesn't want to hurt anyone. There is no evidence that suggests that she's truly selfless, on the contrary, she's your average selfish person, moreso when armed with the knowledge of what Rin is to Kaede. And I am expected to believe that she'd DIE for the others, too, when she isn't willing to give less?

hmm...as i see it the magic aspect of shuffle is kinda screwed up from the start...to suddenly introduce asa as being half demon is all too sudden imo however there isnt anything wrong with this...the thing that was wrong was the lack of logic involved to the events that followed up ~ yea if i saw magic being thrown around like coins then it wont be anything special and plotholes are missable but for something this spacific doing a bad job on explaining means death ~ but oh well i guess that was part of the shock "O.o"

did asa know that she will die someday if she didnt do something about her magic problem? from the depths of my memory i though asa was kinda cured when she reached her present state (before kaede's attack) or was it the fact that she had been holding in her pain all this time?
okey on about asa using magic...tbh maybe she cant or doesnt know how to release it (yea thats just protecting her) ~ but what evidence is there to say that she can freely control her magic? even tho there is little evidence that she wasnt holding back her magic on purpose there still lies a chance for her to really not know how to use it even if she knows she does have magic ~ she might have needed a trigger in order to set loose those feelings...

okey just looking back at ep 24 (managed to get the dust off :heh:) another factor of asa using magic at that crucial moment seems almost unintentional...yet another factor to support that asa is unable to use her magic (but probably would work for both ways but as i see it im voting for a burst of emotional release)
Well, the thing that burns her is that she gives reasons why she doesn't use magic and when Rin asks her to use magic, her first reason isn't "I can't use magic", which would provoke the answer "try" and THEN we'd get the "no, even if I can, I'm not using it because blah blah". Her final reason, the one she gives Rin, is not of being unable to use magic, it's being unwilling to use magic. And we never saw her trying to use magic and failing. IF she tried to use magic when Rin cut his wrists and failed the first time, then we might assume that it takes more than simple thought to use magic, and Asa not being in a state of self to use magic in any other situation. Such a fact however is not given and magic occurs automatically and successfully the first time Asa tries. If she was so unable to use magic, she'd have just said so pretty easily. If she CAN'T use magic at all, no one can force her to do it. It's never implied that it's a case of Asa unable to use magic. Asa doesn't even TRY to use magic. She is firm in her belief that even if she CAN, she won't do it. We don't know beforehand but judging from the situation, it's much easier to assume that she can use magic than assume otherwise.
And don't tell that:

And that's just Asa's reasoning in her arc. We still don't have another theory to understand Asa's behavior during Kaede's arc, so unless we can find clues that she has serious issues in that area, too, we must still go with either case a or b for Kaede's arc.
@bobmarleypeople No, we don't have a emblem/symbol/etc. Or we can use that guy's logo, it's just KKK, but we need to get a Kaede pic somewhere or the average American will hunt us down with a rifle :p

If I remember rightly that symbol from the anime is just two green diamonds with KKK written in orange-yellow. Its not very inspiring and because it only says KKK so misunderstandings would be a problem. Besides were a better KKK than them right?

A way for you to check if they work now is to go to "Control Panel" -> "Edit Profile" -> copy/backup your "Knight o the Round Orange" title -> check the custom title "reset" box -> save changes at bottom. Now if you have the "Senior Member" title, your cookies should count from now:p
Then just change back your custom title.

Would there be a filesize limit to a banner for the first page?
Well, it CAN'T be a thumbnail, so, taking that into account, it has to be a certain size. Well, I think we can safely follow the sig rules, the bigger banner can be like the bigger sig you can have. Loosely enforced rules, but we don't want to great too big of a banner, e.g. Redframe's are 50-60 kbs, which is good.
Hmmm so only 1 banner goes to page 1? That would make it a contest then:p
But I don't see why we absolutely must follow the sig rules, technically it's just another pic like any other pics in the KKK thread and image thread, this one just happen to be in page 1. And if we'll only get one of them I won't mind if it's some big 3-500 kb^^;;
Well, true that, the first page isn't opened everyday, but try to keep it as low as possible. No need to make 1MB banner when you could do less.
It should be roughly the same size as the entries for the banner contests IMO.
I still haven't found my memory stick for me to put an entry onto this computer from my own and my CD burner has screwed up. I might not be able to enter. :(

I dont know if this has been talked about in this thread or not, but I'm just curious about what aspect that makes you root for Kaede? I know there's a lot of factor but what is the most dominant? (tough I hope its not just because of her appearance -I think almost every bishoujo character is designed to look aesthetically pleasing, with spotless porcelain-like skin, beautiful eyes and such-) I have see some post that explains about why do we dislike Asa or Rin (or the scriptwriter ^^) but I haven't see (as far as I browse this topic for few pages) the reason of why each of us love Kaede.
Here's some option I have tought, of course you may write your own personal reasons:
- Because she's so kind, too kind that she puts the needs of the person she loves above her own. Wakes Rin up every morning, makes breakfast and lunch, and tell Rin to bring his lunch but forget to bring her own (somekind like this, I forget the detil on the episode)
- Because of her pitiful circumstance, having to feel guilty toward a "liar" and then being backstabbed by the person who she thinks supports her relationship the most. I think the word "like" is not suitable anymore in this case, its more like empathy to me.
- Because of her persistence to keep on loving and trying to get the person she loves, no matter how small the chance is. Or should I say because of her possessive side that's bigger than any other Shuffle! girls?
- Because of her mood swing. I rarely see a heroine that's rebel so strongly, speaks vulgar words and does a frontal attack towards her rival. For some people, Dark Kaede has the same attractive charm as the normal sweet Kaede. And I very agree with this one.
- Because she's got boxcutter. It still looks "natural" for a girl to attack using a boxcutter than a machete. And boxcutter is just convenient, easy to use and does not attract much attention. My hobby is papercrafting, and since that boxcutter episode I have more pride in this hobby of mine, lol.
I think that's all. Maybe there's a reason like "because I hate Asa-senpai, and since the enemy of my enemy is my friend, then.." but I think that's not a solid reason because in general, when Rin choose Asa, the other girls will also feels like Kaede, only they have less subtle reaction. So, what's your opinion?

Reasons I love kaede... Hmm, well, and in no order of priority because all these factors contribute:
- She is the most beautiful of all the girls physically for a start and I know thats a shallow reason but it is part of the overall reason.
- She is the most sweet-natured and kind girl I have ever seen. Easily outstriping the others in terms of good natured and friendly personality. Also that she trys so hard to be a good person
- She is loyal and that is a quality I value very highly.
- She has the most adorable smile and exceptionally cute expresions.
- The unfairness of her situation and the idiocy of Rin make me feel for her and want to protect her. ( Though when pushed she can easily do thet for herself;) )
- The darker Psycho Kaede scares and excites me wheneve I see it come out. I don't know if I love it of hate it but its certainly interesting...
- because she was the first anime character I liked.
I guess there are many other reasons but I would have to spend more time tghinking about how to phrase them. I think shes just wonderful:heh:

And I saw "Asa"s" ep 3, and most of it was about Kaede :p LOL... Kaede was worried, Kaede came to the cooking club, I heard it from Kaede, Kaede here Kaede there, and the villain going around spreading seeds of discord... Yeah... Vexx, after seeing this episode, I think we'll do with Machiavelli for most things before Asa's arc, and put the psychosis in Asa's arc. Yeah... That's a dreadful kind of villain :p

Doesn't that slightly depend on what your other interests are though? I've noticed leaving my torrent app running affects my performance in WoW and other games, and also the performance of my VPN into work. I mean, I have fiber so I try to leave my torrents up til I've shared at least triple or quadruple the file size, but I generally turn them off whenever I'm doing something else on my computer.
Aye, I'll often pause torrents if I'm doing something network intensive and I have the client throttled anyway to keep it managed so the upstream doesn't think I'm DDOS-vile. I'd ask how Burning Crusade is going... but that would be a derail (I turned my account off at Christmas since I was given NWN2, figure on reactivating this summer).
I actually just turned off too (I just bought my first ever new car this weekend). I was actually thinking more about work. I'm actually playing NWN2 now as well.
Back to the topic, if no one has seeded it by the time I get home (in about four hours) Maxon send me a PM and I'll go back to seeding whichever episodes aren't missing (I think I have all the episodes, though the only one I'm sure about is #2). I've never tried seeding directly to a person before, but if we can figure out how it shouldn't take very long to d/l. I actually throttle my client too, but I throttle it at 250k/sec on the upload and I could just turn it off until you've finished.

Hmmm. My normal download speed is around 60kb/s (on a good day). When I downloaded episode 1/2 it was around 20-30 sometimes dropping to less than 1kb/s for a few minutes. Since you got a good speed, I'm betting it's just cos my internet connection is crap. **falls into deep depression**

I've actually reached over 200 k/s on individual torrents. I'll have to take off the throttling tonight and post a picture of my uTorrent screen. My d/l isn't really anything special (usually tops out at 300 k or so), but I've seen it uploading at over 400 k/s whenever i take the cap off (one of the reasons why I have to cap it is it literally makes the internet crawl when I'm uploading at anything higher than what it's capped at).

I got no skill T_TAmong all the pics so far, I think your number 2 is best fit for the front page. Being transparent, it blends well with the forum background. And because of the ribbon, Kaede is still recognizable. Points for those two factors.
Points to improve would in my opinion be to smooth out some of the jaggy edges of her silhouette.
But still, it looks good as it is now, it just needs to be centered with a bit of centered text underneath like this:

You could try out different dimensions as well, like for example Moon Eclipse's. I think it's a bit silly if we need to restrict ourselves to the forums sig rules.

Although Moon Eclipse seems to fit the bill a bit more with what I had in mind so far (it looks like an organization badge, it's simple and it can blend in nicely, I have a minor gripe regarding the screenshot used for the badge :p Also, I don't know whether it's possible to use the same design but be able to somehow get Kaede's features on that. Because if that's the case, we could try something using one of the new Kaede screenshots :p
I'll give it another whirl. BTW, some people, like me, use the blue colour scheme, so it's not going to blend for everyone.

Hmmm, yes, orange on greyblue might fit less, but still I don't think it too bad, maybe the brown KKK could change colour slightly. Though I think taking into account the standard colour scheme of the forum is more important since that's how "guests" view it. Nah, it's still ok, but the edges need to be dealt with a bit. It's not so apparent in the AS standard background but it becomes more apparent in the contrasting blue BG.

Well, there seems to be a case where we have a mix of emblems and banners. The bad thing about banners is that they can only serve as banners and not as an emblem for the whole club or for any of the divisions, which means that even if we put a banner on the first page, it's still a banner and not a symbol of KKK. The good thing is that we can actually have a banner on the beginning on the front page and assign the logos to various divisions with the appropriate additions. We can actually utilize most of those one way or another, we have many divisions after all.
@Rin-Sama, well, I can't blame him, I'd feel terrible if I was in AAA and had to vote THAT :p Thank God our banners was actually worth voting for in the autumn contest :p

You've got the answer now! So I'm posting here to become a standard member of the Kitto Kitto Kaede Club! Why is that? hehe ^^
1) Out of all the Shuffle girls, Kaede is by far my favorite one!!
2) Out of all the romance anime I've seen (and there are quite a lot!), Kaede is in my top 5 Anime Girls!
3) I just love shy, introverted and caring girls (as true in anime as it is in real life ^^; )
4) Hence I always root for them in anime. Good examples would be:
- Kirino Konosaka from "Gift ~eternal rainbow~" (love your avy npal ^^)
- Haruka Suzumiya from well... the Classic "KGNE" (this one's really was a tearjerker for me..)
- Kaede Fuyou from "Shuffle!" (no need to say it but still!)

Unlike the other two $@#!#@ who can't comprehend what's wrong, Riko at least had a conscience and unfortunately Haruhiko was all over Riko from day one. But that whole anime is plagued by poor character development if you ask me. It's Kirino's existence that makes it any good :D

I've wondered this myself ever since you guys had that topic about Asa using magic/dying.
My sixth sense tells me Stratocaster doesn't quite belong with the Knights of the Shap Boxcutter. I think it's for the best if we transfer him from that one, and then he can have full-time commitment at the other order.
And maybe kEi-kun! will fit better with the Knights of the Shap Boxcutter?:heh:Mind you that I´m the leader of the Trenchcoat division. :p

Why am I not suitable for the knights of the round boxcutter?:confused: I don't mind being demoted though and I think that KOSB would be a fitting devision for KEi-kun!. Npal, I do agree with the rest, particularly point 5, but not as as much with point six. I hold a grude against Asa but I wouldnt wish anything quite that bad on her.
Well, my main question was with you not quoting Haruka and Kirino (especially Haruka) and adding not quoting the last one made me think you are pro-Mitsuki, in which case, as I said in the first page, "while we don't mind favorites from others shows, if you like, say Mitsuki, are you sure you're in the right club?" :p Or something along those lines :p
I don't mind whether you want Asa having fun in the demon realm or not though :p And yes, I do believe you are more suited for the Round Orange knights. I mean, the knights of the Sharp boxcutter are... well... you know... sharp and deadly? :p

I didn't quote the list as I considered that more personal to KEi-kun's own oppinion. I do not recognise the second name, Kirino.
As for Kiminozo, well I never really came to an true internal discision on this one. Indeed I felt for the younger Haruka and favored her well above Mitsuki, I was angry with Mitsuki for betraying her friend. ( I like loyalty) After Haruka woke up so many years later I found it a bit far-fetched that Haruka should hope to continue a relationship that barely even got strated all that time ago, having been out of it for years. People would, and have to move on, thats what he did and I don't blame him for that , I don't blame him and Mitsuki for eventually getting together though I did feel sorry for Haruka. What I DO blame him for is messing both of them around later on. Please bear in mind that I watched this anime before I managed to find SHUFFLE! so my ideas on this are in no way connected or influenced by SHUFFLE! and Kaede's position. Anyway that was completely off-topic.
And yes, I know I am in the right club. I love Kaede above all others.

Yes, that will do. As long as you don't consider betrayal natural or unavoidable (as Mitsuki fans seem to think - some don't consider Mitsuki betraying Haruka at all), you're ok :p And Mitsuki and Takayuki didn't GET together naturally. Mitsuki just took advantage of Takayuki's mental condition if you ask me. Could it have occurred another way? Perhaps, but we'll never know :p As it stands, Mitsuki is in our enemies list (maybe I should create one :p), as are all traitors.
I stopped watching KGNE when I saw Mitsuki do that. I might watch it in full one day, but I can't bring myself to watch it right now because I got so pissed off.

We have an allies list. Why not have an enemies list. Sounds like a good idea to me:) . Mitsuki, Rin, Asa should go on for a start.
Could their relationship have occured without her taking adavantage of him? Well I guess it could, anythings possible I suppose. But I think that it would have been very unlikely. She probably did take ad vantage of him a bit to get a foothold that would have been closed to her if she hadn't abused his mental condition.
Well, Asa doesn't even need mentioning in an KKK enemies list :p I mean, NOT loving her is one of the requirements for joining :p Well, Rin could do. But we need some more. Only 2 people on the list isn't fun :p Hmm... Did I add Haruka to the allies list?? Hmm hmm... :twitch: I didn't!

I can't really think of any more at the moment to go on the enemies list. Maybe Arimfe will have some to add. Haruka should definately be an ally. She almost has orange hair, 'cept its brownish...

Well then they wern't meant to be, I assure you. I'm sorry if you found them disturbing Arimfe and I will avoid such misundersantings in the future. They were purely meant to be 'maybe's', 'what ifs' I do not belive or agree with them particularly but simply put them forward as reasons that might have been what the writers were trying to convey. They were possible veiwpoints that were less directly oppositional and that might have been useful to consider. I do not stand by them as solid veiws or excuses. Theres no problem with you having a problem with them however.:)
Well, Asa using magic is her problem :p We don't mind actually finding a plausible excuse for her on that :p Although if that contrasts her attitude towards Kaede, there is a problem :p I mean, being self-sacrificial and betraying a friend is screaming psychopathology :p Do we have two Asas perchance? :p
