AMG season 2 will be air next year. (the orignal thread was lost).
Also you can see belldandy, keiichi and urd fashion from the official website.

any exact dates yet? If I remembered right, all that was said was Q1 06
I don't know if TV seasons in Japan go the same way as they do here, but if they do then it means that AMG TV 2 will start some time mid January... even though they say "Spring"
If not, then "Spring" might mean it doesn't start until April or May. In which case, I will be very sad.

Nor I. It's always been seasons as far as I'm concerned (and aware). And technically, this would be season 3, since seasons 1 and 2 were both 12 episodes. Everyone just puts them together as one 24 episode series that was aired in two halves though :)

I was refering to seasons as in spring summer etc since different parts of the world is different. Q1 Q2 is for quaters. It's a bit easier

I believe he means that the time frame in which the anime will air should be referred to using the quarter, as the anime installment itself is commonly called a 'season'.

At any rate I'm happy about season two. I haven't read the manga, so I can't speculate about what will occur during this season, but I'm excited nonetheless.

actually season two already started i got episode 25 and it starts where...
where episode 24 ended where alot of the city was destroyed and Belldandy repaired it. there was a problem with the system and Urd became a child, at the end it showed Skuld grown up so to speak

Episode 25 & 26 is an extra for season one which were not air. Same as ichigo. They have 2 episodes that were put in DVD instead of airing them

OMG!!!! AMG!!! You guys don't even know how long i've been waitin for this, this is one of the best series i've ever seen. I've been debating with myself whether or not to read the manga in case a season two (or three, w.e) finally airs. Glad to see i didn't hold out in vain! This is gonna make me happy especially since Initial D, Shuffle! and Suzuka already ended = ( all i got left is Bleach (which kicks naruto's arse, btw ;) )

There's no telling what direction it's going to go in until the first episode airs.
Even the preview is alittle..unspecific about the new season.
I just saw the preview and yeah, I gotta agree that there's no telling which direction the anime will be headed. Belldanday sounds kinda hesitant and worried when she mentioned about the ceasing of the contract.....nevertheless, I still have high hopes for season 2. Hope to see more of Urd, Skul and last but not least Keiichi and Belldandy. Since both Belldanday and Keiichi already knew their feelings, I hope to see more scenes of Belldanday and Keiichi together.

Well, first there was the OVA. And then there was a movie. And then there is a TV series about the chibi adventures of the 3 goddess, nothing serious. And then there's the recent season 1 of AMG that's licensed by Media Blasters. So I guess there's your "2 TV and 1 movie".
But now, there's a season 2 to the new TV series.

It gets much better after the first ep. The first few are just random plot lines but ep 7 starts a storyline.

Pretty much all these questions were answered in the AMG Q&A thread, but whatever, here we go again:
No word on season 3, chance of one unknown.
Not all of the manga has been animated, and the manga is still ongoing.
Truth to manga, varies. At times it is very close to the manga, while at other times (more often than not) it is significantly different. There are also quite a few original stories inserted into the anime that were not in the manga. The ordering of events is also significantly different, and some anime episodes are made of bits and pieces of various manga chapters that are sometimes very far apart. Some of the characters are also different (in the way they act).

But yes, a third season of AMG would be very very nice! Another season of anything involving Saber Lacus or Belldandy would be very very thx. Even more thx would be something with all of them together!
I can't say I expected a second season of this, but I'm certainly glad to hear it. It has been quite a while since I watched the first one, I hope I'll be able to keep up.
I like AMG, though even I admit it's horrendously cheesy.
I just got my copy of the second AMG season 2 DVD, along with the season box. Like the individial DVD packaging, it's a nice match for the season 1 box that Media Blasters did. Nice touch by ADV, and the two boxes are going to look good on my DVD rack together. :D

It's a matter of taste, I suppose. I think the Belldandy from the two TV series is much more attractive than the one from either the original manga or the old OVA.

The official English release of AMG Season 2 by ADV contains both English and Japanese language tracks along with English subtitles. So if you don't want to listen to the English voice actors you can select the Japanese language track and English subtitles.

At this point in time only 4 of the 6 DVDs have been released so far (the 5th DVD is to be released on the 8th Jan and the last will be released around the start of March).

Ty sir. I probably won't have enough money until after graduation anyway which is a year from now. I am sure it will be out by then. But both season 1 and 2 box sets are two things i'd like. Although I doubt i'll be able to wait that long for the season 1 box set. They are expensive though.

haha i bought season 2 a few weeks ago, this site had the season 2 dvds for 5 bucks each, so i got the box and the 6 dvds for 32 bucks(reason it was more was the box/dvd was 2 bucks more). I personally think season 2 was better than season 1 (jealous bell is too funny, i just love the stone face look she gets). The eng dub isnt so bad minus skuld who i have to turn the vol down every time she talks the voice will make your ears bleed.
really wish they would make some more seasons since there's plenty of material

While I enjoyed season one of Ah! My Goddess, I was not really fond of the second season. the first season was good, but I felt that season 2 should have moved the story on a bit more. I think it would have been better if Keiichi and Belldandy's relationship deepened, Instead of still not kissing or anything. I would have liked to see little belldandys and keiichis running around.

Urd had three mini-arcs, yet her character development was reset afterwards like nothing happened. Skuld had a mini-arc too and same thing happened. There was no need for two full seasons. 12 episodes would have been more than enough to cover the important parts.

The AMG! TV show is based off certain chapters in the manga, which is ongoing. Both seasons put together skipped a lot and has only covered up till around Vol 14-15.
If you want to see what really happens, go get the manga! :)
