Thanks to Kinny for the link in another forum. I just realized that this will be between 4~9 of January. Here is the catch. IM going to be IN Japan during that time and more. So, do you think it's worth checking it out. I would get a video camera, film it, and probably upload it.
But ya, I need somoene to help me translate it.

Rukia: Ok, I guess. Not that cute.
Hitsugaya: Not bad, he looks good.
Uruhara: PERFECT 11/10. Just the type of person who would be perfect for a live action.
Chad: Another great one, especially the hair, could use a bit more muscle, but still good.
Aizen: His hair colour is brown, if that was the case it would have worked with this guy.
Orihime: Where's the package?
Ichigo: Good, not bad, but still can be acceptable. I like it.
Gin: >.< there's the evil sickening smile that I loved him for. Looks perfect too.
Hinamori: >_< no. Her face looks a bit plump. Figure and everything looks great, even that cute thing that covers her hair.
Byakuya: 9/10. He has the got the perfect style, though I cant seem to help that his face looks like a kid.
Renji: Eyes scares me, but another good attempt.
I favor Uruhara and Gin, would have been with Aizen too, if he dyed his hair brown.

Since I'm a Nagayama, Moriyama, and Tuti fan, so I naturally love how Hitsugaya, Renji, and Gin look ^^
Ookuchi's hair for Aizen IS brown. It just looks darker in that image.
Uruhara looks awesome, as well. From what I've heard, he performed well, too. I've heard nothing but good reviews about Miki Sato as Rukia, and I can assure you that those are just bad images of her in costume >.< She really does look quite a bit like Rukia.
I'd say its worth checking out. I haven't seen it myself, but I haven't heard too many non-positive reviews, which is always a good sign. Even if I wasn't a fan of Bleach, I'd still see the musical myself if I have a chance because of my forementioned fandom of Tuti, Nagayan, and MoriEiji. But that's probably just me...

If you're going to be in Japan during the 4th to 9th, then you need to be in Osaka for the Osaka showing, held from the 5th to 8th at the Osaka Mel Park Hall. The Tokyo showing won't be on till the 14th. Tickets cost 5600 yen. But can't guarantee if there'll still be any left.

The musical is well-worth watching, I can say after having watched it myself. I quite enjoyed it, and would rather like to see it live (but only after I see Tenimyu live XD)

i was like O.O; when i heard about it, at first i thought it would be about the animated cast in a musical against their will, only chaos could be the up bring of that
but after skipping through some scenes i got the scare of my life, seeing real people dressing up as the cast and singing ROFL i couldnt stop laughing omg, only that is even worth watching, tommorow im going to watch it fully, though i wont get some parts of it since its not subbed... but then again ill just laugh by looking at a singing Renji or Ichigo XD
btw the more i look at that picture the more i can imagine a live action movie of Bleach XD

It takes a lot of work to fansub a musical, so I wouldn't expect it soon, even if someone is interested in fansubbing it. First each song has to be translated and that is a bit more work than translating dialoge. Add on the fact that all those songs contain a lot more words than the an equivalent length of regular anime. To that you add the fact that a two hour musical is a huge project. That makes an awful lot of work just for the translation. Then you have to karaoke all those songs which is a huge typesetting job. Everything is harder when you're fansubbing a musical -- I speak from experience. Let me just say that this a lot harder than fansubbing 5 episodes of Bleach back-to-back.
Personally, I am hoping that someone takes on this project, but I'm not holding my breath waiting for it.

There will soon be dancing Kenpachi and Ikkaku. Thetre also adding Matsumoto and Youruichi. I think the Ken fellow looks like a biker. Oh and Kira, hes in it too. (heh, not a fan i guess, hes so forgetable.)
Wish I could go to this one. If I werent going to university in Sept I would have tried to get tickets.

Both Bleach Rock Musicals have been subbed by a guy called Ken Yuen under his group Cruel Angel Productions (http://zap.to/cruelangel)
However he does not distribute on the internet and only does a DVD distro service. Also some people disagree with his ethics as he charges a small "translation" fee. It's not just the cost of the media itself.
Bleach Rock Musical 1 - $7 + shipping
Bleack Rock Musical 2 - $12 + shipping
So it's up to you whether you wanna order off him and agree with his ethics but they are available subbed if you want them badly enough.

Rangiku isnt my fave chara in Bleach so wouldnt care that much but hopefully they dont repeat that Outragesously Ridiculous Urahara Actor :rolleyes: I havnt seen the second one either -buries head in shame - . But what you said is correct Inoue is a common surname in japan. There is a famous seiyu named Inoue Something he is a guy but somehow I picture him as a woman thanks to Inoue Orihime >.< .
One of my freinds had a similar problem related to FMP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Full_Metal_Panic)and Bleach . Well the central chracter in FMP is Chidori Kaname (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaname_Chidori) and in Bleach we have Tosen Kaname . :heh:

Although I don't understand a word of Japanese, i am watching the musical on you tube... It is amazing how much the actors sound just like the voice actors for the show... wonder if there the same.

I found that actor pretty retarded he was killing the chracter . Aside from the bad props ie tray he looked bizzare . I am praying they have'nt repeated that actor in 2/3 . The image below and his antics gave me nightmare for days :(

I seriously think out of all the characters in the second musical, Urahara was the one that acted closest to how I envisioned the character when I read the manga. Urahara's actor was absolutely brilliant.

Can you please re read my previous posts carefully before drawing conclusions it would be immensly appreciated . The last post was made in conjunction with BRM 1 and not 2 . To further validate what I have said even that Icon is from BRM 1 not 2 .
If you didnt find the Urahara actor used in BRM 1 in terms of props and gets up ridiculious/below par you would be sharing a minority opnion here and yes I am talking about Costume Wigs and Body Language . Though Bya Aizen Rukia and Inoue have been surreal same cant be said about the Urahara in BRM 1 .

Yes it good I would say great if you are a Bleach Fan . Its a must watch for every Bleach fan it gives us a surreal reflection how would Bleach look if it wasnt an anime . More than musical I personally liked the making of BRM 1 . Aizen Rukia Bya and Momo look very real as though taken straight out of the anime

in terms of appearance urahara wins by a landslide, followed by rukia then momo.
I just had a chance to watch the 3rd Bleach Musical. Wow. Just wow.
The musical certain went a long long way since the 1st one.
The music, the fighting, the lighting, the stage, the props, the casts... EVERYTHING is just so much better now.
The first musical looked like a community production, the second one looked like a high budgeted community production but I can no longer tag community production to the third one. This new one looked quite professional.
There are still room for improvement, obviously, but man, that was pretty impressive for a musical rendition of a manga that is so not meant to be a musical.

The other day I did say there is also a famous seiyu going by the Inoue Surname while doing some study on seiyus I found person I was talking about and he has lent his talents to Hatake Kakashi ( Naruto ) Sohma Hatori ( Furuba ) Inspector Shirator ( Detective Conan ) and Aion ( Chrono Crusade ) to name a few

Yea she sings so well. Especially the Kaien part and her duet with Ichigo. I also thought Matsumoto sang well

Lol, but they took the Bleach Rock Musical on real tv camera. I can't quite imagine shy people doing stuffs like that (cosplaying and singing on stage)
I really think they did a good job on Matsumoto and Hanatarou

Hey! I just saw it, it was sooo awesome. They seem to have alot of songs that don't quite fit into the storyline, because, after the story ended they still sang about 5 songs. The whole thing was amazing.

I dont supose anyone knows of any place still carrying the 3rd dvd? The one with Zaraki in it. I know it came out in January but even since then I cant find it anywhere.
*sigh* and they making yet another that I will have to get the dvd of...
I see theyve added Tosen and Shuhei (whoot!) even if I think the fellow theyve got for Tosen looks more like he should be Shuhei... Got the 4th captain and Soi Fong too.
And the last songs are the omake, they had them in the middle the first time, but later they put them at the end so everyone sings not just the seireitei guys. Always hilarious too.

I was kinda dissappointed that Yachiru wasn't in it. Lol, how funny would it been to see her hanging from Zaraki's shoulder!
But I'll forgive them since it had a nice duet of Ichigo and Rukia.

Heh, I'll have to watch these later. I only saw a little section (the Rukia/Ichigo duet) since I'm pressed for time atm, but I think I'll have to watch them all later, the behind the scenes bits look funny as well. Just curious though, are they all related to each other, as you really need to view them in order? Or are they separate stories? Guessing its based on the SS arc..

The first two was when Ichigo and Rukia met, you know up to when they go into the soul society. There was Orihime and Chad and that Sandal and hat guy. Then the third one is basically Ichigo going to save Rukia but Orhime and Chad isnt there and its up to when Rukia is getting excuted. There's another called Bankai code thats its going to be on dvd and final one wrapped up like a week ago. The duet was really cute and they have it subbed it too ^_^

Yeah Miki has come real close to potraying Rukia almost perfect , But I am so used listening to Fumiko Orikasa (http://www.geneon-ent.co.jp/rondorobe/music/orikasa/index.html) voice . And BRM stands out in its league compared to HXH musicals

Lol Miki did a great job in the play especially when Gin was teasing Rukia into saving her then she starts to sing and in the end she starts to scream I was like wow i was almost deaf lol.

Wow, all these actors/Actresses looks awsome! And to think, I nearly cracked up laughing when I first saw them up on stage with a wig on :P
But I did find some cosplaying amazing, like I thought Hinamori, Rangiku, Hanatarou, Ichigo and Rukia's ones were pretty decent.

BRM 1 has the worst usage of wigs . And Japan being a country which does take cosplaying seriously it was somewhat of a disaster . Also IMO more than looking like the chracter more weightage was given to their singing skills . Bya (Shūji Hayashi) Aizen (Kengo Ōkuchi) and Rukia (Miki Satō) looked very surreal . I think the worst was Chad (Naofumi Yoshida) he was too skinny

And Hinamori looks a bit too old. ^^;. Gin looks kinda... wonky. He bugs me for some reason and I think Mtsumotot should have a bigger bust.
lol. I find this rather amusing. =). I think they did pretty well, considering they had to act and sing as well. But I personally don't think anime should be turned into real people. ^^;

Well, I kind of cringed at the idea of a musical also.
Until I shut my whiny mouth and actually read the lyrics and ignored the fact they were about Bleach characters. A lot of the songs in these shows are really nice, the actors are talented singers, and there is a lot to like about it once you open your mind to it. It helps a lot if you are into musicals to begin with. I've seen Les Miserables, and a lot of other shows, so its easier to put this into perspective.
I liked all of the ones I've seen so far, I just wished I spoke Japanese. Someone was kind enough to put up a few of them with subtitles, and I'm grateful.
Does anyone here know where to get Bankai Show Code 002, and The All, with subtitles? I don't care if they're in twenty parts I'd just want to view it. Someone put up one or two songs from Bankai Show Code 002, but that's all.
