downloads freeze

anyone else have this,my download freezes after about half an hour but the client still works

Maybe you ran out of space on your computer, or you can't find the rest of the file to download (the file is split up into little chunks... sometimes not all of the chunks are available).

If it is definitely the latter, post in the Reseed forum with the name of the file you're downloading so that someone can supply it to you.

sometimes it actually freeze without any movement, as in the download dont even move .. u got to change a new bittorrent client, shadow experimental does work well without any probs

just a sugesstion but you might have something in the background like a virus checker or defrager that might be interupting the download. if the components of the file you are downloading gets moved or interupted the download will stall, or even crash.

I had the same problem, and here is my semi-ghetto solution:

Cancel the download, go back to the website, reclick the download link, and select the directory you were downloading to before.

BitTorrent will analyze your previous DL and pick up where it left off-

It's not technical, nor fancy, but it works :)

i think i know what you mean. if i start to dl to fast. it cuts me. like when i try to dl the tenchi ova. get up to 300 and cuts me off

Was this problem ever resolved, I have the same problem (used to work fine)

I’ve tried burst, shadow, bittorrent and they all have the same problem.

Restarting the download isn't an option, the few files I’ve downloaded using that method were riddled with crc errors and I’m pretty sure its not my firewall causing the problem cause I disabled the firewall in my latest attempt and got the same results.
