Little question: The point at which the Bleach Anime has arrived now, which chapter is it in the manga?

Ah ok, thanks. Because that filler arc is coming soon, I want to start reading the manga, instead of watching fillers and having to wait weeks before I can finally see how the story continues ^_^

do we really have any concrete proof that there's a filler arc, besides what one of the subbing groups encoded into the end of the intro song of one of episode 50+ of bleach? :twitch:

I believe the voice actor for Renji said so in a blog of his, plus there was some kind of official word on it I think, together with some spoiler images.

It has been confirmed. This weeks episode is a double-episode 63-64. That ends the manga. Next week, episode 65 is the first filler arc episode. Once you see episode 64, you'll understand how they can add an indefinite amount of filler to the show and make it seem like a good idea. I believe that Kubo Tite deliberately handed the anime creators some very interesting story hooks which he then proceeded to ignore in the manga, so that the anime could use them.
Once episode 63-64 has aired, we can post a definitive answer as to what chapter of the manga will pick up AFTER the filler arc.

I guess this is marginally on-topic so I won't delete your question, but I really don't want this thread to turn into a discussion of filler arc.
Filler is anything that is written for the anime which wasn't originally written in the manga. It is called "filler" because it fills in the time so that more manga can be written. Most (not all) filler is badly written and serves no purpose other than filling in for a real story. A "filler arc" is a story arc consisting of nothing but filler.

well that's true there is no actual proof that there is gonna be filler episodes till the next episode is released but when i saw the preview for the next episode...
i didn't recognise the enemy and i read the manga till chapter 210 and they faces were new to me

Actually, it's been confirmed that the upcoming episodes will be fillers. That's even been said multiple times in different threads...

Hey just a question...somehow i cant wait because of the fillers and a want to start reading the manga...both Naruto aswell..which i "was" following though totally went over to the manga because the anime wasnt as it should be...

Also i am very curious...has it been confirmed how long the fillers will last? Since in Naruto's case fillers are busy more then 10 months and are still busy with fillers!

No, there is no confirmation when the fillers will end, although we probably can expect them to last until episode 100. Give or take a few episodes.
Actually, it's quite easy to keep track.
Every episode of anime consist of 3 chapter of the manga.
So it is like ep one is made up of Chapter 1-3 of the manga.

I'm pretty sure Kubo said that he wanted to show the Zanpakutō spirits in the manga but he wasn't able to so he was glad they could be shown in the anime. There was nothing about him wanting to actually add this arc into the manga.

At least this arc is far greater than the whole cheapiness in manga!
