Hmm. was it because of lighting that mai was bit dark. But these will be a nice collection. the main character of both mai hime and mai otome. Who knows what relationship between those 2. I do prefer the meister one, more worthy to collect, but the casual one's nice too. when are they out?

Wanted them since seeing them on the net TV show.The Wave Arika PVC you can get through any online shop like HLJ, HS, etc. If I remember correctly, the Mai+Arika figures are an event only item ala the Shizuru and Haruka ones. Either you will have to hit up Japan! Auctions, Ebay, or wait for the possible re-release of them :heh:

Well, the one I got was Yukariko and she stands 4.5 inches tall. I think it mainly depends on who it is because the Midori figure looks big because of the Gakutenou extension.

From what I gathered, it involved Nina getting ready to see Sergei again (pre-first episode). Of course, given the nature of MH/MO drama CDs, "chaos" happened in the form of Erstin and Irina as they suggest Nina dress up to meet her father. There's even a comment abou Natsuki being like the #1 collector of lingerie or somethin' to help push Nina in the "right direction" ;)

However I think Anime Jungle has an online version of their store that's here in Downtown Los Angeles.
Just try doing a google search for them...they've got a plethora of Gashapon and they seem to have the latest Mai Hime Gashapon available the last time I checked the store.

A friend recommended a local area where i MIGHT find them, but the prices might be proibitive. Last I heard, a prefect gundam model here would cost around 196 USD while only costing 130 USD on hlj. Hehehe, I went the HiME Maid Cafe in Akihabara yesterday. :D (I'm living in the north of Tokyo.) Akihabara is very stimulative and fascinating for otaku. My wallet became so much light. :heh:

The cafe was normal except the My-HiME/Otome BGM, the My-HiME/Otome pictures around on the wall and the special menus for the Otome's tea party. I ordered Fumi's teatime set of chiffon cake and Souten no Seigyoku drink and they were very good. :D The waitresses didn't cosplay of My-HiME/Otome yesterday. If you can go to the cafe next Sunday, you will see them cosplayed. Finally I got the souvenirs of My-HiME/Otome coasters. Fortunately they were Shizuru and Natsuki. :D

Just got my box of 2.5 series today, got Miyu (The blue and white one from episode 26), assuming it's the secret one, as it's the only one that comes with the sword, two Yukariko, two waitress Mai, two Midori, two Alyssa & [half of] Miyu, one Akane, one Shizuru (first one I opened, yay!), one Miyu (Red w/ gun [standard]). They're nice, the Shizuru one is especially cool, as everyone has already figured out.

Also, be careful when assembling Midori's halberd. I broke the first one T_T

Voilà, en traînant sur le net j'ai trouvé un truc qui s'appelerait en anglais " Mai Hime Media Comics ". Does anyone here knows about it ? Il s'agirait de courtes histoires sur Shizuru et Natsuki. Ca dit quelque chose à quelqu'un ? Je vous colle les résumés des trois livres ( il y en aurait trois apparemment ), trouvés sur le site à je-ne-sais-qui.

They're so funny. The books are basically a bunch of parody shorts and stuff based on the anime. They make me wish I could read Japanese because they're funny and I have no bloody clue what they're saying. There's one in the second volume where Natsuki is talking to people and then Shizuru comes and drags Natsuki off to a private room. Chie and Aoi follow and start to listen and apparently there are some *very* interesting noises coming from the room. I don't know what follows but Haruka's screaming, Mikoto's gone nuts, and there's a shot of Natsuki holding a smoking gun, wearing nothing but a bra and a skirt (that's halfway off) with Shizuru likewise clad in the background. XD

Book three is even better. There's a really adorable short of Shizuru and Natsuki that seems to take place after Shizuru graduates. It looks adorable. One day I shall get a scanner and scan them. And then I will learn Japanese and translate them. One day.

Book 2: Chibi Natsukis are always welcome; Shizuru taking care of a sick Natsuki; Natsuki sneaking into the restaurant where Mai works to eat a parfait. But she's embarassed and tries several disguises

Book 3: Shizuru force-feeding her valentine's day chocolate to Natsuki...mouth-to-mouth (or so it's implied); There's a short of Shizuru where she turns down a confession from a boy and it shows her watching Natsuki

Voilà en gros. Ca a l'air assez marrant, non ? : p J'aurais bien traduit, mais là g2g, donc.. plus tard, peut-être si je rentre chez moi.

Actually there exist shops in Japan which assemble and paint garage kits instead of you. For example:

It's unusual, but you could find them already paint but it will cost you a lot more (multiply the price by 2 or 3)

just of note that the official site (http://www.my-zhime.net/main.html) updated, thus they announced a best of album for august 2. two new figs are also shown on the page as well as the HiME an ZHiME clocks that were announced several months ago w/ onsen mai, natsuki, mikoto and bathing suit otomes. there's pics of the omake for dvd 7 as well. i should be getting my R2 DVDs soon w/ goodies :D.

that koto arika is actually pretty cheap. iirc it costs about 35-40 dollars. i personally didn't like it and didn't opt for it. i'm still waiting to see the atelier sai meister shizuru in paint as that prolly be the best otome fig so far.
