Mai HiME and Mai Otome favorite episodes.

Hello.:D I would like to tell you my favorite Mai HiME episodes. I have plenty because I like comedy and endings. There's a few actually.

Mai HiME:

Episode1 - They meet. Sometimes funny and how Mai and Tate feel guilty.

Episode2 - Mai meets new friends from Fuka Gakuen. (That's the school name right?)

Episode10 - If this is the cake episode, then yes. This one was just, hilarious!

Episode20, 23, 24, 25, 26 - All these made me sad and the ending was okay. I love how they actually released the episodes almost every 2 days after episode20.

Mai Otome:

Episode6 - I kind of love it. Just my eyes are amused at some parts.:heh:

Episode9, 10, 11, 12 - They we're just interesting and gotten a bit serious this time.

Now, can you tell me yours? For Mai Otome, tell me the ones you like so far.

Episode 1, the part with Mai's boobs is just hilrious XD

the pie baking episode, i just love that one :heh: also hilarious, that episode 10 yeh

and for the rest those final episodes, in witch Tate 'dies' and the one where Takumi 'dies' and Mai goes all wacked on Mikoto XD

not sure what are witch numbers,

the pool episode :heh:, not for the girls but for the humour, omg that was awsome

for the rest i have no actual favorites, but i am sure there will be XD

For HiME, I'd say my favourites are ep. 3(?) where Mai meets Kagutsuchi the first time. Ep. 8, because the ending of that ep was sooo increadibly evil. (Akane/Kazu-thing). After that, it's basicly 17-25. Heavy drama. :)

As for Otome, my favourites so far are the first episode and ep. 7, which simply is the best one yet. So many good things happened in ep. 7 it'd probably take the whole day to write down all of it. :p (Meister-robe! Mikoto! NagixMashiro! Arika in that workers outfit! MATERIALISE-song! Plot! Fights! Contracts! etc.)

For me, in mai otome would be episode 1,3,7,8 and 10...I like the fighting part and the history and background of the otomes.

Ep. 4 - When Shizuru and Natsuki show 'connection'...

Ep. 9 - Natsuki goes hitchhike :heh:

Ep. 15 - Miyu & Alyssa

And also Ep. 18-26 - Oh the Drama and the Plot!! ;)

And for Otome.. honestly I haven't found any episode that made me goes all exciting and grinn like crazy, but for my fave this far maybe I'll choose ep. 2, when Chie appearead. Her pose was awesome :heh:

Episode 6 - I totally love Midori's appearance as a HiME. Justice wins, indeed. :)

Episode 10 - Incredibly fun episode and Akira's first battle scene is quite impressive. And you even have Nao praying to God in order to help her bake the cake. :heh:

Episode 15 - I never liked Alyssa but her death scene is really sad. Too bad she didn't stay dead though. And I love the attack of HiME Sentai, probably because of the music.

Episodes 17-25. Do I really have to explain why?

Mai Otome:
Episode 6 because it was so hilarious, episode 10 because of Midori and Haruka.

Kazu-kun. Kazu-kun? Kaaaaaaaaaazuuuuuuuuuu-kuuuuuuuuuun...
That scream echoed in my head for days.
It was so shocking and unexpected for me. I thought My-HiME is a school comedy before that.

Otome: don't have any thus far. I'm waiting for Shiho's graduation. I'd want to see her in full powered makimaki action before I pick a favorite episode. :D

#8. Kazu-kuns's death, a very important twist in the story
#10. Cake/Mai's birthday .... fun ep.
#15. End of the Alyssa/Miyu saga
#16. karaoke Fan service, Nagi tells about Hime festival

For me, my favorites has got to be:

Mai HiME 8, 12, 14, 15, 20, 24, 25, 26
Mai Otome 1, 10, and possibly 13 (hurry up and finish downloading! :eyespin: )

Mai Otome is not doing it for me as much as Mai HiME was. I really hope Mai Otome will get better once the dark plot comes.

Haruka's speaking language was too funny. I wonder what will happen if she didn't have Yukino with her. "Sure sure, go drink some tea or something." "Like always... *Sigh*"

Shiho sticking her face into the cake was amazing. I wonder what she did after that...

In episode16, at the dancing part, Yukariko was... Not god-loving much and was careless, that's funny. Thanks to Midori, yay.:heh:

Mai HiME

Ep 15 --- The launch of the HiME rangers, the accompanying song gave it that BLAST and made it especially memorable. Liked the scimpy backstory on Alyssa and Miyu, it shed light on their relationship and helped me understand both of them better... Up to that point I had hated Miyu (for what she did to Akane) and Alyssa (her arrogance). Alyssa's death was sad, and again the beautiful song drove it all in...

Ep 17 - 25 --- The drama, sadness, desperation, friends turning on friends, unfulfilled and forbidden love revealed, loss, Miyu's hip graphical interface... Who of us didn't watch those episodes back-to-back? (rhetorical question)

Ep 26 --- I'm a sucker for happy endings - liked Tate's returning and protecting Mai. What I really really liked tho was that the ending did not feel rushed at all... Very well paced, totally enjoyable... Left me without regrets.

Mai Otome

Ep 7 (Extreme Spoiler)
Ep 7 --- First there was cool background on Mashiro. Then there was Arika's grandmother's line... "Granny said that it's not good to force something like that!" almost killed me... Nagi's expression was priceless. Doubt we'll ever see him this way again. Captured at 11.01 minutes:

And finally that master-contract... MATERIALISE!! ELEMENT EXPANSION!! BOLT FROM THE BLUE...RELEASE!! It was one blast of an episode.

Episode 7 - I have some sort of thing for the "crazy" girls in anime. Don't ask... -__-
Episode 15 - Loved the part when they "transform and roll out". The song rocked. Anyone here who know the name of the song?
Episode 17-25 - Ohhh... this is when the anime really started to become good. Episode 26 was just too happy and fluffy for my taste however.

ep7 - Arika's first materialization and first master type battle ... actually it's the only time she won something too bad evrything goes down hill from there ... first time we see Miyu
ep10 - Midori ... feel the power :p ... got to love her when she's all serios :D
ep17 - Swartz atack, Natsuki's robe :D
ep18 - Aoi ... too sad, too cool :cool:
ep19 - Asward respect +++ :)
ep21 - first glimpse of Mai
ep22 - Miyu kicking ass, Midori pwning nations, Tomoe win/loosing, cool and calculating Mashiro, Nina pwning all :cool: ... and of course another 3 sec of Mai and Mikoto ... what more could you ask for :D
ep23 - Mai and Mikoto ep :D ... it's about time

In Hime: almost all of the later episodes, especially 20, 21 and 25.
In Otome it's 18. Yeah. Best death scene ever (though it isn't really one.. let's pretend it is :heh:)

1. Natsuki hitchhiking. Priceless.
2. Karaoke.
3. Natsuki calls Duran (like the process).
4. Every time Shizuru calls Kyohime.
5. Yukariko runs from church after Nao's confession.
And many more.

Otome:
1. Chie catches Arika in the second episode.
2. Every "Materialise!"
3. Midori's appearance and calling Gakutenou.
4. Maki-maki, every time Shiho does it.
And so on.

My-HiME
Ep 8: Tell us that this is not just some school girls kicking monster ass anime.
Ep 9: Natsuki shaking her bon bon is priceless.
Ep 15: The hime ranger thing and Alyssa death scene.
Ep 16: Although nothing was said bout Mai's return but the karaoke part was nice and the ending even nicer. A sudden twist that is not expected.
Ep 21?: When Natsuki was in Nao's hand and Shizuru appears to save her.
Ep 26: Got me excited the whole night.

Otome: None of the episode really get me all excited like My-HiME did.

Edit: Ok for Otome at ep 3? when Shizuru materialise and ep 18? Natsuki materialise (but this was spoil by the OP so not much anticipation/excitment.)
