i LOVE maaya sakamoto, akino arai and yokko kanno...theyre my fav japanese aritsts...but i was wondering, are there any other artists that you would reccomend if i like these artists? any that are similar or summin? thanx ^_^ :D

See-saw is good, a duo made up of vocalist Chiaki Ishikawa and composer Yuki Kajiura. They are pretty well-known for their songs in .hack//Sign and Gundam Seed. Chiaki Ishikawa's voice is quite similar to Maaya Sakamoto and Akino Arai. It has an air of class and mystery to it and it blends in with Kajiura's composition beautifully. :)

i just listened to some songs by shiina ringo and she is great!!! ive heard a few songs akawa nanase and they were quite good so i may get more ^_^

Yeah, Shiina Ringo is really nice. I'd also recommend Aikawa Nanase, and Judy and Mary too.

anyone likes shimokawa mikuni ? the girl who sang all the songs in full metal panic series, she's not bad too ... ooh

Can't forget to mention Ayumi Hamasaki, Okui Masami, and Utada Hikaru. I really like their stuff.
