Mai-Hime Special 14 (Miyu)

I watched this yesterday and I found something strange...
The part where Miyu is in the desert... well... I see a MS and a space colony. And Miyu is in her combat uniform.
1st glance at the reckage there you find it be some garbage. But if you thing that the last piece is the torso and the head is where Miyu foot is standing at you can picture a MS there. Plus the large object in the background resembles a space colony.

Hmm, it is that I don't know about some other Anime's but i also looked up some info and there are some directions that i could be MS wreckage. But then i really love this special, from all the specials i have seen this one come on the fourth place.

These specials are from the Japanese Mai-HiME DVDs. There are 26 specials so basically 1 per episode. They are basically bonus material that increase the enjoyment of the show. The one with Nagi explaining Orphans to Natsuki was pretty funny.

This gives more evidence to the thoery that MH Miyu and MO Miyu is the same and MO is just MH in the far furture with all the original cast being reborn.

Apparently, when Miyu was kicking Harry, that bullet appeared right after. I'm assuming that it's explosive power gives Miyu that extra kicking power she dealt with Harry that sent it flying.

In this case she was going to fly so that bullet appears again that gives her the explosive power to jump out ASAP.

However the bullets aren't the same and she wasn't wearing high heels like she is now but since were nit-picking everything I thought I would include it as well.

I'd say that is the Gundam (RX-78), although the V-fin should be white. Still, that's quite a cameo for a show that doesn't have much to do with Gundam:heh:

In both Miyu's, they had boosters installed in their shoes to permit either increased kicking power or hasten sudden movement.

And in both cases, the boosts comes in small disposable cartridges that are discarded immediately after the action is performed.

The chance that MO Miyu is an android, or at least a cyborg, is increased.

i just found out Nina was in Mai's class in MaiHime, it was in special 3 with the chinese name "chun mei" 春妹, its in 00:18. i cant catch a pic right now, since MPC is acting weird when ever i try, oh well.. is this sunrise reusing charecter designs or this was intended :roll:

It's not Sunrise reusing character designs....that would be Hisayuki, the character designer, reusing them.

I really don't think this Miyu is the same Miyu from Mai-HiME. If they can port over every other character from HiME, and make someone who only really appears in the OP and ED into a main character, they can easily port over Miyu.

She's probably just referring to a ported over Alyssa who has died.

Gundam references in specials because Gundam is also made by Sunrise. The same animation company cross-overing their characters is old news (Keroro Gunsou anyone?).

And since the "Arika was in Mai-HiME OMG MUST be connection!!11" thread was close, and I'm talking about cross-overing, I'd like to point out more likely than not it's only because Sunrise wanted to show their next protagonist. This is done A LOT (e.g. Makai Kingdom's Lv1000 wish).

i believe Miyu is referring to Arika in ep18. Arika used to treat her like a real person as seen in a previous ep... so if she says there was one person who called her Miyu it must be Antsy. i dont think Alyssa was born a human and later transformed into a bird.

And the movie comes out in 18000 years. It could take this long to get all the characters to be born as look-alikes and have the same situations on this world, and there was plenty of time for technology to be recycled and an emmigration period. And I'm also speculating that androids and cyborgs CAN live for that long.

The bird's carries Alissa Searr's DNA and her strenght i.e. "Artemis" HIME (Highly Advance Materialising Equipment) package.

Most of the male characters don't even matter, so I don't think you would get too attached to any of them. And anyway, I don't remember that many male casualties... I could have sworn there were overwhelmingly more dead females.
