View Full Version : Fate/ Series Avatar and Sig request thread
Thread dedicated to Fate/stay night avatar and signature requests (sometimes known as the GIF Request Thread).
Please adhere to the rules.
Only ask for images abiding by AnimeSuki Rules
Please be aware of the size limitations (http://forums.animesuki.com/faq.php?faq=rules&#faq_rules_3_1) as outlined in the forum rules (http://forums.animesuki.com/faq.php). Avatars need to be 51,200 bytes (50kB) or less and a maximum of 100 x 100 pixels. Signatures need to be 50,000 bytes or less and a maximum of 500 x 160 pixels. If you want to include text as well as an image in your sig, then the maximum height can only be 120 pixels.
Be Patient
Don't be impatient so don't keep asking for your av or sig, you will get them when you get them. If you want it sooner then go make them yourself. Others are doing this for you out of their own free time as a favour.
Please specify episode and timeframe of the GIF
We're not mindreaders. We do not know what you want, so give us something specific to work with. Be detailed about the description and make sure you keep the timeframe something like 2-3 seconds long.
Example:
I want a GIF from Episode 1453 where Rin gets eaten by 6 Venezuelan Red Llamas. Timeframe of: 12:34-12:36.
Don't ask what software was used to create the GIFs.
This isn't the thread to discuss that. There are threads already out there for that, so go off and search for them.
If you do not follow by these rules, you will be ignored. So don't bother asking again until you properly request something. And if you are just plain annoying, a Mod will set the killer rabbit (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killer_Rabbit) on you).

Waaa.. we have 2 threads for this 0_o .. OK.. I proclaimed this one is as the official thread for requesting sig and av from the anim.. the other one will reserved for wallies and such ^-^.
And evil... that was quick :D.. Last night I was waiting for 2 full hours for the thread to be created , just so I could be the first poster .. Finally stop and slept at 3am in the morning after seeing Ojisan offline ... and failing to see the thread materialized T_T

I've decided that I would only concentrate on making sigs and leave the av jobs to a more expert members .. so lets rock this joint like we did for shuffles! :D

That would be hard to tackle o_0 since her face is practically takes the whole image on all 3. :/
You dont actually want all 3 included right? I could envision a sig containing 2 of them but all 3 would be to messy IMO .. check back again tomorrow, I'll give it a shot but right now I need some sleep .. 12 am here >_< and I'm a bit sleepy 3_3
And I'll do one within the rule of ASuki so anyone want to do offrule version (rule no. 1) .. >.> .. But of course if anyone else wanted to do it before I woke up.. you are more then welcome to do it ^_^

just use this one (try to resize it another bit, we're almost there with the size - use what you have to, to resize it, since it's almost 100 kb -_-)

Konnichiwa! I'm joining the gif-makers team as well ^^ , and I'm glad to meet my fellows evil-samurai and KiNa here too :)
To start with, I don't have any material (I did a bunch on Kashimashi, and zero on this :rolleyes: ) if not one about Saber during the ending theme.
It was used for a bit and now it's a freebie again.

Oh, and I want a Saber siggy but also to have my current gal, Setsuna as well in my siggy. Is that possible? I'm not just asking Pellissier, but any sig maker. I have the original picture that was used for my current siggy, just before you ask. If you do ask, if you can do it that is.

Hmmm its just that her face and attitude, i expected a "im better at magic than you NYA!" and i felt a sort of evil aura =D ,
well if archer does sart to make moves on the female chars, then he will replace kurz webber as my role model =D (and he is a longe range acrher type dude!)

Ok, now im tierd of now having photoshop. This week I am gona look for my photoshop cd. Yeah, I kindof dont know were I put it when I moved in to this apartment :heh: . Hell, I dont even know were anything is.... Ive got like this evil hugh box full of all sort of things (cd's without cases, tons of em :upset: )... Well back to the case, Im tierd of seeing all the lovley sigs and not being able to atleast try to make some myself :p

There's camera movement here as well ^^ , so no loop possible. I made two versions: one featuring a blurring phase to make the "forth to back" sequence lighter for the eye. Don't know if I got the result.
The other one is the normal, unlooped, version.

Lol, it's not that (at least for me), it isn't much trouble, it's just that personally I don't like a final result which I don't see as I would like to be :)
But sometimes loop just can't be done, so.. it can't be helped ^^
I watched episode 3 while looking for some avatar material. There wasn't much, I have to say.. -_- .. if not quite zero.
I've extracted Saber defending herself from Lancer's attacks, and made it as my avatar, although I'm not sure on how it does look like.
By the previews, I guess that episode 4 will *maybe* provide some more action and material for gifs. Looking forward to it :)
I think like Gundam.. we'll be hard press for gif av once the battle started flowing in.. Right now there are not much scenes to play with ;)

This technique took me almost 1 hour.
(Making swords glow, creating energy sources etc.)
It's not that hard, but you need to have the perfect smudge mix.
A Tutorial to this technique will be posted tomorrow evening.

Alternatively, there's the "play with all of the tools of ImageReady until you get a damn number below 50 k :heh: " .
Thus I managed to get a version with 13 frames, although the quality had to be decreased, undoubtfully.

I've put a number after the gilrs' names, it simply indicates how many gifs you should see. Signatures need to be 50,000 bytes or less and a maximum of 500 x 160 pixels. If you want to include text as well as an image in your sig, then the maximum height can only be 120 pixels.

Ok, I was watching episode 3 when I got hit by an idea duing the Saber/Lancer fight scene.
Then, when I was almost done, I got stuck.
I couldn't think of any good caption for the sig.
Thus, I'm requesting you guys to think of an interesting caption.
It can't be too long, as there's limited space in the sig.
The person who comes up with the caption I like most, I'll put his name and caption on the sig and he can use it.

I would love an avatar with Saber eating. I've decided my personal motto shall be "hunger is our enemy" or possibly the Latin, "Ieiunium est nostrum hostilis." (I hope the Latin is correct. It would be embarrassing if it meant something like, "the kitchen table is our enemy. ;) )

Unfortunately, no chances :(
The number of frames with her still, and with mouth closed, is 3. Not enough to have a smooth loop. The result couldn't be any other than jerky.
I also try to add the frames when she was starting her smile (when the mouth was still near to be close, and the difference was subtle), but even so, I hadn't the right frames, meaning them hair position, to create a loop.
As you've seen, I've had enough of them instead to do the loop with the smile, and surely I would have made the same without smile, if I could.
@KiNa : "still WIP so no rating" , and so you never rated it, but it's the same, I know it would be a 20% :p

A file usually has two sizes, one being its size, the other one being its size on hard disk. This gif had 24.9 as size, and 28 and hd size. AFAIK a forum should go with the real size, maybe that forum goes with hd size. Fine. The most important thing is to know it ^^ .. so here's an alternative version:

Edit: Ok, I got my facts straight, it's something to do with clusters used on disk for the file. Anyway, be sure to use the size on disk value.
