I'm just surprised that Hanataro's zanpaktou has a name.

What does it translate too? Maybe that'll say something about his shikai? 10/1 says it's a mop!

If it has a name, dosn't that mean he can speak to its avatar? Which sort of implies the possibility of achieving Shikai?

Rule of thumb: If it has a name, assume it has Shikai. (Iba Tetsuzaemon is an exception.)

I assume any seated officer, 7th or otherwise, has a shikai.

The height comparison page is quite interesting. Some of the characters are surprisingly short. Soi Fong is tiny!

Dunno, but somehow I can't imagine it being very exciting.:heh:

[something]danbou. No idea on that first kanji. I really need to brush up on my Kanji.

That's enough information for the name Jidanbou, cheers. And what the hell did I say? Want's? Damn, I'm going blind.

Wow, never knew Soul Society had a king. But if SS has nobles, then it makes sense that there's a royalty as well.

I never knew Rukia is so short, even Soi Fong and Hinamori are taller. :heh:
Hitsugaya in the bottom ten is no surprise, funny they even included Kon at 27 cm. xD

How tall is the lolilicious Yachiru?

How tall is the lolilicious Yachiru?
I don't see her on there. The shorties are

花刈ジン太 126cm、25kg (Jinta)
黒崎夏梨 136cm、31kg (Karin)
黒崎遊子 137cm、31kg (Yuzu)
紬屋雨 141cm、32kg (Ururu)

Yachiru's not on there although her height/weight has been given before
109cm, 15.5kg (3 ft 6.5 inches/34.2 pounds)

Yachiru's stats are on this page here: http://inubros.net/bleach/log/2005/10/bleachheight.html

The bottom note mentions something along the lines of: "The stats posted above are those of on the game (assuming that's a bleach game) site. Further corrections will be made if the official character book stats differ."

But Yachiru's official statistics aren't included in that character book post, so...

Am I missing something here? You didn't even mention Hanatarou or Zanpakutou in your post, how does everyone know what you're talking about?

Hm, I just took a brief look at this page: Do they really have a king?
I can see something about a "royal family" ruling Soul Society.
I wonder if their name is Kurosaki. :D
If we want to continue the discussion of a royal family, please do so here: Soul Society's King ?

Man, this character book is indeed awesome. It explains alot of stuff not yet made clear in the anime or manga.

The following are my rough interpretations of some aspects mentioned in the book that I found to be especially intriguing:
[note: my japanese is pretty horrible, so don't take my word for it]

一定の期間を尸魂界で過ごした魂魄は、現世へと転生する。

After a soul has spent a certain amount of time in Soul Society, it is reincarnated into the living world.

貴族は瀞霊廷で生まれ、その生を尸魂界の内に全うする。

All members of SS's Noble Families are born in Soul Society.

かつては志波家も含めて五大貴族だったが、現在志波家は没落・・・。

At one time the Shiba family was among the Five Nobilities of SS, but now it has degenerated...

各隊200名以上、総勢3000名弱で構成される。

Each team (I'm assuming this is refering to Gotei 13 teams) has more than 200 members, overall the Gotei 13 contains around 3000 members, give or take.

一心がベッドをあけろと電話してたのは空座総合病院。

This one I don't understand, but since it mentions Isshin I'm interested. If possible, someone please translate.:)

What? You can translate the complex scentences above, but you have problems with this easy sentence? This is really strange.

It says that Isshin telephoned to 空座-general hospital to prepare ("open") some beds.
I'm not sure on the reading of 空座 though.
Ahaha, well, the other sentences just happened to use the words that I know, and me being Chinese helped with the Kanji aswell. Initially, I thought the sentence did mean something along the lines of Isshin phoning a hospital for beds, but what I failed to understand is its relevancy to any of the events that had taken place in the Bleach universe, so I asked for a translation. And I still don't get how this factoid relates to Bleach. Someone please enlighten me.

If I remeber i think he did this when chad was hurt by a hollow and the hospital is the same one Ryuuken is the director of.
