Tiny background additions

I searched for some keywords but didn't see anything on this and I'm not native to the board so forgive me if it's already been mentioned.

Did anyone else notice some crazy stuff in the background while the scene is focusing your attention elsewhere? I love this kind of misdirection in movies and such.

So anyhow, pop open ep19, go to 03:49 and look behind Young Rin's head as he screams Kaede's name. Look closely, it's only there for a second.

I caught this while showing the episode to a friend. What the heck is she doing there!? I love Prim as though she were my own but... HOW CAN THIS BE!?!?!?
Another interresting thing, read the stuff the teacher is talking about in lessons while you're misdirected with what Rin is thinking/saying.

I remember one scene (can't remember where) ... Rin is pondering something.. outside the window down in the courtyard two guys are doing some sort of spastic duet in gymastics or something... damned bizarre.

The teacher's Great Purpose seemed to be to explain how their world worked and all the backstory stuff you needed to really understand what was happening, foreshadow, etc. ... all in her lectures.. nicely done.

Little things like -- look at what Asa was reading as Rin was getting an eyeful under the table... or what Tsubomi was reading in the cafe shop.

Your catch is quite interesting...... Prim in the background..... that may make it interesting to spend a few hours watching for little Easter Eggs the animators have planted. ((this was always a fun thing to do in Animaniacs .. and in PPD))

The one I just noticed is in episode 2 when Primula is at the crane game the Anime's opening theme is being sung by someone doing karaoke in the background really low.
