hello there, I recently picked up the first book (vol 1) and just finished reading it and really enjoyed it, does anyone else? and also how faithful is the translation from Japanese to English? Howmany volumes is there? and is tokyo-pop a good manga publisher?

I love Gravitation. ^_^ It's really really funny. I think the translation is bad sometimes (some phrases the characters use are too corny), but the manga is still hilarious.

Tokyopop used to be pretty good, but now I don't like them (their translations are weird, they forget to translate some speech bubbles, their new series are crappy, and they change some series names to really lame Americanized titles).

I don't know how long Gravitation is, but Tokyopop's website has 12 volumes listed.

I really like Gravitation (one of the few yaoi anime/mangas I like) I like the anime more than the manga though. Except for dubbed they sound weird dubbed. But oh well..anyways I thought it was cute. And even though its not really "new" it can be new to someone else. ^^* Eh.

It's HILARIOUS but if you're not into seeing two pretty guys kiss a lot, I'd say no.:heh: But if it helps, the main character looks like a girl-hehe maybe you could pretend he is one.:heh:

Yeah, it doesn't turn me on, but it doesn't gross me out. I guess I could relate to the guy who looks like a girl. I'm pretty girly, actually, as far as my personality is concerned...
That aside, I could probably get past the shounen-ai, so I guess I'll read it as soon as my local Barnes and Noble opens up.

Such a shame the original manga series is over, but at least there's the novel and the remix doujinshis still to collect!
Not to mention, Maki Murakami, the creator, has a new supernatural-style series out called Kanpai!, of which I have the first two volumes thus far. Quite good!

This manga is funny and romantic. It is a shonen-ai anime.As for me, i am a Yaoi fangirl, so it's just fine with me seeing two guys kissing:heh: . i just love to see how mature guy like Yuki handles a childish guy like Shuichi. I have bought the anime series. Its only 13 episodes. It was definitely worth-buying. I'd recommend it to everyone!:)
