Most time invested on final fantasy games !!!

Ok everyone we all know that we have spent tons of time playing final fantasy games however exactly how much time is the question. Sadly when I played final fantasy 7 and 8 the clocks only went up to 99 hours so I couldn't get a accurate time however considering that I played the games from beggining to end more than once and maxxed out the clock both times I would estimate that I have spent more than 1000 hours playing final fantasy. I mean I would play for a week straight during the summer, infact my ps1 broke the day after I beat final fantasy 8 the second time. I remember waking up at 6 in the morning, and loading up final fantasy playing it straight through the night until it was like 10 oclock and then I would finally take a food,bath and sleep reccess, and then repeat the same thing the next day.

I lent my friend my copy of FFX along with my PS2, and for the first 13 hours, he didn't stop playing. Then, consequently, he'd play at least 10+ hours every night, foregoing sleep.

Ah, the power of video games on these kids is like crack. Me, personally? Like, 40 - 50 hours. I'm a lightweight.

clocked out on 7, 8, 9 and 10... it's kinda sad.. I think I have far too much time on my hands. However I do not play for inhuman lengths of time.. I do take bathroom and food breaks, I just put alot of time into it in thel ong run. I'm waiting to buy my copy of FFX-2.

I dont know why but when i played final fantasy 7, i remember that when ever you saved it would tell you how much time was spent playing the game. And when i reached the end it was like 70 or 75 hours of play time. So if you add that plus add all the other FF's i played (which is like all of them), then multiply that number by like 8 or 9, becuase i replayed most of them that many times, then i guess they number would be around the thousands.

I jus kept on playing FF7 for forever. I wouldn't stop untill I got everything in the game. I remember the clock stoping at 99:99 and I was still playing days and weeks later.

The timer on my FF8 did go above 99:99. Perhaps because I'm european? Either the number turned red, and it started at 00:00 again, or the number turned red and it continued at 1:00:00, I'm not sure. :)

Anyway, I played FF8 for an insane amout of time, and at least 75 or 80 of the hours were spent playing cards, but even so I spent much more time perfecting the chocobo breeding sidequest in FF7. Over and over.

It can't be wrong when it is so much fun, right?

Well let's see i played ffvii four times and beat it at around 85 hours each time. Beat ffviii twice with about 91hours. Beat ffix once at about 88hours. Beat fft 4 times about 75hours each. Beat ffx once at about 113hours roughly could be more. so lets see

(85x4)+(91x2)+88+(75x4)+113= 1023 hours on just final fantasy alone

not to mention i have beat many other rpg's including the wonderful suikoden series, seriously it rivals my love for the ff games.

Yeah, i usually complete them with all the best weapons and jazz within that time.. All togetherew i think i have spent more than 1500 hours on all the Final Fantasy games i've played.

I know somebody who played FF7 for 3 years on the same game. dont see how he didnt get tired of it,i know i would even tho FF7 is my favorite game.

I only played FF7 for about 97 hours and that was enough for me to get all the characters up to level 99 and complete most of the side quests. Of course that's my second play through, I think it took me about 40 or 50 hours to beat it the first time. So 137-147 hours total spent on that game, which is probably more than I spent on all the other ff games I've played combined.

400+ hours good god that is a lot for one game. A little off topic, but how many hours have you guys invested in Xenogears. I have beat the game 3 times with more than 80hours each time.
