The girl with the pink hair is new. Looks like her name is Amakawa Sakuya, and her child's name is Tsukiyo.
:heh: I like Sakuya! Her Child is Tsukiyomi. I like Miyu's Element. I wonder how it's used. Does anyone know the basic storyline for this game? It'd be great if it was available in English. Although I'm not a big fan of the opening theme and the design for Mai.

I've cleared this game 3 times(Mai, Natsuki, and Mikoto), so I think I've got a pretty good grasp of the story.
You are Takamura Kyouji, a university undergraduate of archeology(and still in school). By help from Sears Association, you got a temporary teaching intern job at Fuuka Gakuen class 1-3(Miyu, Natsuki, Mai and Akane's class) teaching History. In reality, you're at Fuuka to research the Hime Legend.

Like every recent game out there, of course it does.
Not by Kajiura Yuki though, it's done by Yousei Teikoku.
The game's OST has a few decent tunes, but nothing comes close to Mezame or other Kajiura Yuki masterpieces.

well, I finished Miyu's story.
To answer the mystery girl problem posted above, that's a Mass Production MIYU android. The Final battle was actually against an Alyssa Android and a powered up Metatron type orphan, Sandalphon.

Miyu's epilogue does mention that Kujou Mitsune/Kuga Saeko was finding ways to repair Miyu's body while Kyouji held onto Miyu's Memory chip though.

to be honest..i already got this game stored in my com..the prob here is that am yet to have dvd rom.. so the ps2 game will just be staying inside my com until i get myself a dvd/rw rom..
but anyway....is this the game types where the story itself will bring u to the next level without any thinking needed?somehow similar to the psp game?
not gd in jap but mostly all the basic commonly used words i should be able to understand them :D

But for this event, first you have to retry the first battle against the First Orphan (When you have Mai and Natsuki). Mai have to not achieve the Orphan but Natsuki have to do this. And (You have to trigger Scenario to retry the battle when you choose the Event)And after, you have to select All Natsuki event . Mashiro is purely observer in the game.
Nagi still plays second fiddle to Kokuyou no Kimi.
To answer Kuroihane: Shizuru finds that Takamura's love for Natsuki beats her affections out. Thus she kills herself, rendering Kiyohime an Orphan. A Child-become-Orphan, however, goes after the object of feelings to secure their existence, which in this case is Natsuki.

I think it's Akane's event that set Sakuya on the edge. Alyssa pushed Sakuya over the edge(but she was hanging on), but yeah, Nao was the one that cut the rope figuratively.

But for this event, first you have to retry the first battle against the First Orphan (When you have Mai and Natsuki). Mai have to not achieve the Orphan but Natsuki have to do this. And (You have to trigger Scenario to retry the battle when you choose the Event)And after, you have to select All Natsuki event . Some Event , you have to see Mitsumi beacause Natsuki don't appear sometimes... And Mitsumi is the One who know better Natsuki (because she is *** ******:) )
Natsuki scenario is the most difficult scenario of MHTA . Just wait for my FAQ later.

For the most part it's "match the choices". Given that the date is displayed in the corner, it's not that hard to figure out most of the locations by matching it word for word, but I can understand the language pretty well.

I can answer the last (even though I never played the game). Are you familar with Radical Dreamers? Or at least a Choose-your-destiny books?
Probably not. But anyway, in a battle you have a few choices on what to do. For example: [Charge towards the enemy] [Stand guard] [Run as far away as possible]
Your health has variables which will determine if you win or lose but you don't see them.
At least that's how I'm pretty sure the battles are like. :/

game is out, around 3 gig, that's almost twice the size of the original PS2 version

Hey can anyone here clue me into a good walkthrough? I just got the PC version, and given it was co-made by Circus (the maker of the Da Capo games) it mostly plays and feels like DC, except for the objectives apparently, and the battle scenes (eg with the orphans), so I'm pretty much using trial-and-error at the moment.

Question for those who've played the game and watched the first season, which do you think is better to start first?
Yesterday, I found and bought the PS2 version for a bargain. I haven't watched the first season yet (I have it on DVD, but after the first two episodes I lost interest in it...)
If I play the game, will the storyline be too confusing for someone who has no knowledge of 舞-HiME? I'm more inclined on playing the game since I've heard better praises for it than the anime, and also for the fact that I prefer a male protagonist with a level head~~

There are multiple paths for the 5 main heroines, both normal and good endings. So unless you haven't played the game, you should have at least had that knowledge... （;ﾟ∀ﾟ)=3

Really, "sign" if only i could understand japanese or chinese. I wonder if the game has an option where you can change the subtitles in it to english. That would be great.

Well pray that an English patch will come out...
The game is still worth a play even just for the CGs, and the choices either doesn't affact the story/are in pictures, so it's possible to play it through even if it's gibberish. But then, you could simply download the CG pack. (leave email here)
P.S. It's still worth it to listen to sakuya's voice--I went KYAAAAA the first time I hear her speaking!

And here's a walkthrough for each main character:
*Note: Unless specified, the choices you make have no impact what so ever on the story--you can still loose the battle and move on.
Mai: Click on the orange circles every time in the map.
For true end: on the 9th and the 17th, choose the hospital.
For normal end: don't follow the above instructon
Natsuki: Blue circle
For true end: On the 9th and the 16th go to church. Make sure you pick choice 1 for the 16th
For normal end: don't follow the above instructions
*Note: on the final battle do not do anything in the 10th choice
Mikoto: Yellow circle
Everytime you can make a choice pick the 1st choice for good end.
For a BAD end pick the 2nd choice after battle.
Nao: Yellow circle
Everytime you can make a choice pick the last choice
Sakuya: Pink circle
Miyu: green circle
Midori: White circle
For loney end choose a different coloured circle everytime
you can still loose the battle and move on.
Hum... If you lose a Battle... You have a Game Over...

Now i know that the main character is some guy who came to work as a teacher in fuka academy and you can play as mai or mikoto or natsuki etc.. so what about this guy? do you play as him in each scenario or some time later. :confused: sorry there is alot of things i don't know about the game.

No, you can't play as Mai, Mikoto, Natsuki or any other characters apart from Kyogi. However, upon completion of a certain route, you will gain access to some 'inside stories' in the other story section to read more in depth information.

It depends on which route you play. But I can let you know everyone else apart from the girl you choose will have to die. And in the Natsuki route, her mum. And also you die if you mess up the final choice
