Vincent is more female. Zangetsu looks more like a vagrant, in my opinion... so probably better for shounen anime like BLEACH. Vincent, on the other side, is an eye catch for shojou/shounen-ai fans.

But well, it's the Vincent I know from FFVII. I havent played DoC yet, so he might became more like Zangetsu :)
I'd say, Vincent looks like Kenshin, when he becomes Battousai. Just different hair colors/clothes/etc, but a comparable female touch. For Zangetsu, dont know... He reminds me in Spike Spiegel, somehow. Dont know exactly why... Or the main character from Gun x Sword (I've only watched the first episode so far, so no names ^^; ).

Ichigo has orange spikey hair, Cloud has a similar colour (yellow) spikey hair, Ichigo is the main character, Cloud is the main character and Ichigo starts off with a large sword which is relitively similar to clouds large buster sword.

That similarity is not so obvious to me because in my opinion, Cloud not only has spikey hair... Cloud has BIG spikey hair. :P Cloud's looks smaller-built than Ichigo, and Cloud's hair is pale yellow/blond whereas Ichigo's is bright orange. Cloud's hair is unrealistically spikey (somewhat bunchy spikey) but Ichigo's hair at least looks like what you'd see in a real-life person. :heh:

Oh well but perhaps there was some influence from FF7 - those huge swords!

The original Aizen was a stereotypical character in everyway, the passive aggressiveness, the fact hes a high ranking bu not highest rank, and the whole coif and glasses were used in many anime and manga for a few years now. Its a wholesome image, and one people didnt expect to be portrayed how it was. It worked overly effectively for the character.

Gin can almost be compared to any fox styled character (the slit eyes, mischeivous behaviour and all).

Hitsugaya is gonna get labled with almost any tall spikey haired cool guy, again instant recognition and love for the character design.

This is what makes Bleach work, not that thres use of only individual very unique characters, but ones who fit character roles youve already seen, and have preconceived thoughts on how the character will turn out.

Think Aizen with those heavy rimmed glasses looks dorkier than Clark Kent . It was a delibration by Kubo to hide the fact he was the main antagonist of Bleach . That really dorky look makes him look least suspectful personality in Seiretei

If you bleach (pun intended) Ichigo's hair white, make his eyes blue and give him a cold/ruthless attitude, they become similar.
Tensa Zangetsu gives Ichigo super speed that makes him appear to teleport, similar to Vergil's Dark Slayer (only that the latter actually involves teleportation, but eh).
Tensa Zangetsu also looks like a long katana, same as with Yamato.
Both characters have a long coat as part of their attire.

Note : Tokiko ( art design ) has been used before for Ryomou Shimei ( Ikki Tosen ) and Rei ( EVA ) . The two are almost carbon copies of Rei in terms of art

i just got done watching blood+ series( which i thought was pretty good overall story). but im shocked no one thought they looked similar or posted here. but Byakuya looks almost exactly like Haji. even in mannerisms they are similar quite and very loyal and to the rules. both also with a desire to lead astray.

I am not sure if this has been addressed but was it ever revealed who Ichigo looks like?

When Ichigo was on the bridge and first encountered Kuchiki Byakuya as closer to an equal and was blocking all of his attacks the captain of the squad that Rukia was a squad member of (Who is sick all the time and has those two guys that follow him around sorry I am bad at remembering the names of these japanese peeps) was like oh wow is this that guy? I guess it's out already. I don't game anymore but I followed the link back form where the image came from. The title of the game (in English) is Bleach: Heat the Soul 4. They are already working on Bleach heat the Soul 5 of-course ;)

Bleach: Heat the Soul 4 is the fourth installment in the Heat the Soul series, released on May 24, 2007. The game features 51 characters, covering events from The Arrancar arc to the entrance into Hueco Mundo.

Unlike its predecessors, Heat the Soul 4 features a "Character Master" mode. In it, the player chooses a character and goes through a series of five battles and is usually faced with certain conditions, such as using only grab to inflict damage, in order to finish the battle. After the third and final battles, a multiple answer question posed by the character must be answered. Depending on the answer, the player is either rewarded 200 points, 50 points, or nothing. For each battle won, a random number of experience points will be added to the character's total. As the level grows higher, bonuses such as voice tests and alternate costumes can be unlocked.[3] The player is also given 100 points per battle; these go towards unlocking more characters and stages.

Announced on Nov. 19, 2007, this is the first game in the series with a "Tag Action" system. This game, like the others in the series, is based on the manga series by Tite Kubo. I bought it for myself for christmas, its in Japanese so I don't understand sh!%, but its fun to play and the graphics are cool. The only thing is, in some fights i beat the enemy until their health is gone but they don't die and I keep hitting them but i get no where... pluse there is a part in the character master portion of the game where you have to choose something that is writen in Japanese and if you don't pick the right one your character gets a sad face and you only get something like 50 ex. points instead of 200... I wish i could read Japanese!!!!!:mad:

For those who watch Bosou Renkin may have already noticed this similarity between Mahiro Muto and Orihime . Not only they look alike but are extremly similar in mannerisms . Evrything about them is pretty similar . Its as though chracter design was Copied from Bleach

I also like how chad has no lookalikes. Proves how unique his design is; he was definitely the first non white character I ever came across in an anime. And i'm pleased to say Yoruichi and Touzen also gave me a nice surprise for providing two powerful, attractive black characters. I think Japans finally caught up on the whole integration thing. :D

Physically they are very similar same hairstyle and both wear glasses . The other similarities I see are

The only diffrence is ishida is sane while Chono osscilates between insanity and sheer brilliance . Yeah also Ishida is more clothed and has a fashion sense

Anime potrayal of colored character isnt that bad or steretypical as hollywood . But Bleach has gone a long way to potray strong Black Characters : )
