Ichigo and White ichigo argue about the whereabouts of Zangetsu. The Vaizards prepare some kind of ritual. The sleeping ichigo goes hollow and the girl with the school uniform risa takes him on. Chapter ends with both Ichigos going Ban kai

The story wonderfully picks up - and as long as we patiently wait we can get our Bleach fix.
I think her name is "Lisa", japs have a hard time with the "L" sound, the closest they can do "R". And yes I'm a big fan of her already.

Risa or Lisa. It makes no difference. I kind of like Risa more. She is about to battle Ichigo's hollow in the real world. I'm wondering if Ichigo and his hollow bringing out their bankai's in his internal world is going to cause the real world hollow to bring out his bankai as well? If so, Risa will have a hard fight on her hands.

That symbol means 'ban', and it's the start of both Ichigo AND Wichigo using bankai. Which should be very cool.
people may call it predictable, but i didn't expect the real ichigo to go hollow and attack. if he does go bankai, u think the vaizards won't use theirs? bleach manga is so great right now!

And: Is this Urahara's undergroud training room they are in? It really looks this way, but this would raise some interessting questions.
with all the power they have, I just assumed it as a given, especially considering how confident she looked walking out there alone.
yes it took all of them, but their swords were in an unreleased state, it's possible that we're going to see a ridiculous shikai from our lecherous schoolgirl.
Also, is there an alternate entrance to Urahara's place? I noticed the similarity, but I don't see how they would've gotten in. and if so, why they'd be allowed to. especially since Sado should be there about now.

I'm not sure all of them were really needed. I, for example, thought they all jumped in on impulse, since waiting for someone else to do something or give an order might have cost Hiyori her life.

I dunno how many of you have already read translation (english one on BleachForums; I read Chinese scanlations), but it seems our long-time assumption of White Ichigo being the "Hollow" may be a little incorrect. In 218, White Ichigo states the following:
"Zangetsu and I are one and the same. We are both part of your reiryoku. I used to be simply a part of Zangetsu... (snip)... As I become more powerful, the dominance of manifestation shifts to me, and consequently Zangetsu is assimilated by my existence. The more you wish to channel the power of Zangetsu, the less effort it requires for me to over-take your soul."
If White Ichigo is telling the truth, then [White Ichigo] <=> [Zangetsu]. Now the problem becomes how exactly does one side of Zangetsu surpass the other in power?

From what Wichigo said, the more Ichigo draws power from Zangetsu, the more Zangetsu loses control of Ichigo's inner world to Wichigo, and eventually, Wichigo would take complete control of Ichigo's body as well.

Obviously, it doesn't seem like this whole "as you get more powerful, I take over your soul" happens with every shinigami. What is special about Ichigo is that he has a hollow inside of him, so I'm still betting that Wichigo represents the hollow. It still makes sense that he can be a part of Zangetsu but slowly takes over.

After putting her through all that and yet Kubo still keeps her alive, I don't see why Momo fans aren't entitled to wish for her return.

The Kanji in Chinese is pronounced "Lisa" exactly. Weird that the Japs have such a hard time with L sounds since it came from Chinses. Then again, the Chinese have a hard time with "th-" sound whereas Japs don't....

oh i wasn't trying to start a lingistist disscussion just mentioned the chinese lack of "th" sound to balence the conversation, didn't want people to think i was picking the Jap language. You know trying to be fair. Sorry if you misunderstood.

Not enough action in this episode, I want to see insane Hichigo go ghetto on Ichigo and I want to see Ichigo pull out some of Hichigos tricks...It would be so bad ass if Ichigo started flinging his attacks around like Hichigo did against Byakuya

in anime it looked like Hichigo was nearly breaking his own backbone just to shoot one Kuroi Tensuga(sp?) :D
but Hichigo is too awsome as a character to kill him off that easly :D he has to do something at the end :D

Another enjoyable Bleach chapter. Can't wait to see what the Ichigo Hollow can do with ban kai. Including when he seems to be more creative than Ichigo is.
But I can't help thinking how much I look forward to see what the shikai and possible bankai of the Visoreds are like. Especially when it comes to Hirako.
Watch ichigo get his ass beat down. He really needs one.. starting to annoy me. No help from zangetsu lets see how far he can progess compared to wichigo. Now, when this training with ichigo is done, seeing what ishida has been doing wouldnt hurt. Since his dad is scary.

I'm expecting a bankai-type dramatic pause though. Remember, Ichigo's training...we never saw his abilities until is battle with Byakuya. I have a feeling that he'll finish up, then we won't see him for awhile. All of a sudden, he's fighting someone, and he goes full Vaizard. Complete control of his Hollow.

OT but about Sr. Ishida, is that a crossbow attatched to his forearm or is it just really small/short? Either way he's able to do that much damage with such a little weapon imagine what he could do bow that is as tall as he is......

It's just a small crossbow. And I thought the bow and arrows in entirety were made up of spritons rather than the bow actually being just a bow. And as was made clear by Ichigo's dad, and a bit by Ichigo himself, size doesn't matter.

If Chad can somehow turn his physical strength into spiritual strength, he could potentially become extremely powerful. Maybe even rivalling that of Ichigo, but being slower.
Though none of this really makes a whole lot of sense necessarily, but I like the guy. I'm certain he'll destroy a few arankars when it comes down to it.
I still think Chad will grow a full armor and that's when he achieves his maximum potential.

Karin's shikai would probably be an energy ball which she can launch by kicking :D
Her bankai would probably be the same ball but SPIKED or something.
Suzu's shikai would probably be thousands of stuffed animals coming out and attacking the enemy. And her bankai would bring out a gigantic...SUPER POSTAF!! :D :D

Back to topic........
I think this fight is gonna turn out like Ichigo training for bankai... you see him fight Zangetsu but dunno how he defeated him... He'll fight Hichigo but we'll never know how he defeated him.... Same with Ishida i think... we see him in training but we'll never know how he regained his powers.. he'll just burst out of nowhere, strike a pose and who knows what next...
Did Urahara know that Ichigo would turn into a vizard when he threw him into the pit? Did he intend to make a vizard or was it an unfortunate accident?
more of a side effect he had to have been fully aware of... time was limited...
ichigo had to get his powers back.... urahara used the fastest method he knew...

I personally think that this is another training session, the last one was hosted by zangetsu, this time Hollow ichigo has the floor. I think that Ichigo will learn new attacks from this since the only one that can teach Ichigo about Zangetsu is Zangetsu and since Hollow Ichigo is Zangetsu hell learn new possible attacks. :p
