When I first saw this game, I didn't really think much about it, but now that's turned around completely after I saw the gameplay footage and the explanation of the game from Will Wright.

I'm really anticipating this game. I'm considering upgrading my computer just for it. I like the idea of being able to create your own creature and how their citys look and all that stuff. I remember there was a game on the SNES(I think) that was similar to this, where you were a fish and you could upgrade it, add spikes and better fins. Eventually you walked on land. Spore takes it to another level though.

I think it's supposed to come out like this winter, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was delayed since it's such a massive game. They'll need to tweak soo many aspects of the game and make it as good as possible.

The idea of a continually expanding universe seems pretty cool (user created content downloaded from a site dedicated to Spore set up by EA/Maxis), so you won't get bored of your surroundings.
