Here's my vote :

-- Flag / Jersey Faction: Harima x Eri
-- Kids Meal Faction: Harima x Eri x Yakumo
-- Flute Faction: Hanai x Mikoto
-- Applejuice / Apple Faction: Imadori x Ichijou

Thoses are definitly my choices.

If I could put a +++ in front of Flag / Jersey Faction: Harima x Eri I would ! lol

This couple is so cute and cool ! I wish they'll be together at the end.... BUT I wont mind if Harima finish with Yakumo.

But because Eri-Chan is simply the best, I want her to be with Harima :D

- Onigiri: only because out of Eri and Yakumo, I think Yakumo would have a harder time finding someone as compatible as Harima
- True Oudou: Karasuma probably isn't as empty as most people feel he is, after all, he plays the guitar pretty well, and can make a neat onigiri and appreciates spicy curry. Plus he's capable of expressing appreciation and concern... and he'd probably be cool if he would just show a little expression and spoke a little more
- Flute: totally compatible and not at all overreaching for either one. Asou is a nice pairing for Mikoto too, but he is too much of an average guy
- Apple juice: something about the pairing just feels right, but exactly what that is is just unexplainable
- Cookies: Tani-sensei is a pretty nice guy. After all, he puts up with 2-C and 2-D without becoming bitter or rude, and was considerably more trusting and nurturing towards Harima than expected from any high school teacher of a comedy anime (he didn't even go into hiding when he got a love letter from Harima and an invitation to see a movie presumably involving romantic themes)

Just for interest's sake, has anyone considered Harry and Lala? Though Harry really doesn't get much screentime, considering of course that his presence clashes tremendously with both Hanai and Harima, but they could possibly have a good chemistry going, as they're rather similar in ability and a minimal interest in the opposite gender (of course Lala is a little bit more so opposed because of Imadori).

Sara and Asou, too, seem like a good pairing, but I think that in the end, neither really has anything to offer the other in the long run, it might be better for them to go their separate ways. (e.g. if Asou paired up with Mai or Saeko, the tamer of gorillas)

I think if Akira ever hooked up (and I mean EVER) it would probably be with someone from... "work". But now that little boy Giorno of course! Could be someone with a high capital asset ratio (or whatever) though, kinda reminds me of Yukino from Kare Kano in that regard.

I would pick the flag faction, and the kids meal faction. I can't decide because they're all so...umm...perfect! I would also pick the onigiri faction. Then... the basketball faction.

Kids meal - very interesting, not to fair to Eri & Yakumo, but just perfect for Harima... This guy deserved some girl really caring for him, and it is DEFINITLY NOT tenma.

Based only on the anime, Here is my opinion on on most of the good match ups, covering everyone listed in the poll and some people not:

Harima x Eri x Yakumo, either one of them doesnt seem to have a real match if not with harima, if it was Eri x Harry (silly rhyme) i doubt Eri would like how harry hits on women ALL the time

Tenma x Karasuma seems like its actually going on so i dont see why not, although Karauma x Akira might work, they both seem to have strange costume obsessions, as well as reserved behaviours, but no interest is shown

Hanai x Mikoto is a pretty obvious pair as well, they seem to get along nicely and share similiar interests as well as being childhood friends

Yuuki x photographer: would make a good pair as well i think, im assuming it wasnt bothered to be listed since neither is a main char, or because Yuuki->Hanai is obvious, but the photographer seems to like all women, even though he confesses to yuuki specifically

Imadori x Ichijou: Imadori seems to subconsciously like ichijou because of the date comment when he got his paycheck, so it might work out

LaLa x Touhou: I dunno, it seems like both of these people have really weird competition obsessed personalitys, as well as easily misunderstanding things (lala with rules on basketball, the painting thing during new years, touhou with the boat crashing and also pair ice skating, among others), i can kinda see harry as well, but touhou seems to have a larger role while harry was just brought in as a pun for Harimas name

Asou x Sara x the short basketball chick: It seems like the basketball chick would be another good match, but i could see it going to sara as well since Asou actually seems to like sara

Tani x Tae: works i guess? i question why Itoko x Youko wasnt listed if this was

I like Harima x Tenma (and I hate it when people bash Tenma, she's a sweet and funny girl, and her personality makes her unique.)

And I LOVE Harima x Eri...

Harima x Yakumo is pretty cute too...

Ah, I'm just plain confused. :p I say Harima is fine ending up with any of the three above. Especially Tenma, that would make him so happy =3.

My most favorite pairing, however, is Imadori x Ichijou ^^.
Ichijou is such a cute and sweet girl, Imadori is a fool for not noticing her. I don't know about Imadori, but I think she has reasonably big breasts. Remember the episode where he visits her home and holds her bra?

Yeah! My first post! :D Anyways, I vote for...

Flag/Jersey Faction: Why? Well, because they look cute together (lame, reason, LAME!) Ahem. Well, they do, don't they? Their love-hate relationship is really amusing. They're obviously keening for that direction anyways (the tension and the comedic situations are definitely gonna get there).

Ah, actually, I had much more coherent reasons but it appears that they've slipped from my consciousness.

True Odou Faction: This is definitely my favorite faction! I just love the interaction between Tenma and Karasuma (they may not be many, but they're there). Golden moments is definitely during the Battle Royale parody, and the aftermaths. It isn't clear at first if Karasuma feels anything for Tenma, but he seems to care for her and is shown to be more open to her than to any other character. Tenma's liveliness and happy-go-lucky nature helps him express his feelings more, as he is the type of person who finds difficulty in displaying his emotions. Compare their relationship to Gakuen Alice's Mikan and Hotaru (Mikan is parallel to Tenma; Hotaru to Karasuma, only different gender).

Flute Faction: They just have so much history. Though I think, they have more of a brother/sister relationship. But it is common knowledge that people who were friends first have bigger chances of staying/maintaining a long term relationship (as they are easily suscpetible to change, and already know the gauge of each other's personality). Yeah, it might seem typical and boring (I mean, one hardly gets romantic sparks with practically a person you've known since childhood, neh). But it is plausible and nice; it would be deemed stable.

Banana Faction: I've chosen this for a very silly reason. That is, because I find both of them very primitive. Ironically, whoever made this list named it Banana faction, and I thought it is quite appropriate to name them such, as both of them are very dominant when it comes to acting out their "primal needs" (Lala: her need to dominate and win, much like a wild animal; and Imadori: lustful need for D-cups. Basically lust. Hahah). In this way, they suit each other much. THough I must say that would be a very chaotic relationship (with Imadori as the underdog. Haha).

Whew. That's all. Actually, I really have much more opinions regarding my chosen factions, but it seems that they really have slipped through my rust head. Anyways... Still love Karasuma and Tenma. So nice. ;)

I went with Flag, Onigiri and Kids Meal.

Not a big fan of Oudou since I think the real Tenma is different from Harima's idealized version. (and I kinda hate her character - imo, she and Karasuma truly deserve each other). So I guess it makes me a (reluctant) True Oudou fan.

If I had to choose between Flag and Onigiri, I'll go with Onigiri because I think Yakumo's sacrificed enough for her sister and she deserves some happiness. Of course Kids Meal is better. :D

You seem to be confusing the Kids Meal Faction with the Monkey Faction. Harima only gets one of the girls in Kids Meal.

These things seem to be frequently changing. When we first had the faction discussion on Animesuki (around the time when the Cultural Festival arc was just being released), Kids' Meal was either one or the other. When the present faction poll came around and was left uncorrected, I gave up trying to correct it. :heh:

For that matter, a number of the names that we commonly use are different from the current 2ch versions - 'Smile' is used in place of 'Banana', for example.

I don't really read the manga since I don't really want to pay $10 per vol. right now since I'm already buying manga for another anime and reading the manga in the Internet is just crappy and takes away the illusion for some reason for me. However, I love this story purely based on the anime which gaved me a lot of laughs. So the only Yakumo I know is in the anime and she is the best character IMHO, next to Harima of course.

So Hari x Yakumo all the way..... Come on people.... Got to beat that Eri chick. She has no essence in character. go go super voting machine.

I'm wasn't talking about how developed or undeveloped Yakumo is as a character. I just pointed out that there are some things that haven't yet been shown in the anime that can really change how her character is percieved.

While Harima x Eri is more interesting, I really like Yakumo. I feel like the show really sets it up to sympathize with her. Having to deal with her incompetent older sister, Tenma, she really deserves some happiness with Harima.

My votes:

Harima X Eri (Flag)-- They just seem suited for each other to me. Eri wants to be with somebody who likes her inner beauty, not the outer ones (her looks). Harima fits this because even when he is in close proximity with Yakumo, he never once came close (i think) to being in love with Yakumo. So it shows that Harima does not go for anybody who is pretty.

Imadori X Ichijou -- School Rumble seems to be moving towards their direction, so that is why i voted for them.

Hanai X Yuuki -- Yuuki does not seem to have any luck with love. So i put in a vote for this faction out of sympathy.

Karasuma x Tenma -- Karasuma has a number of special talents. Tenma has almost no talents. Opposites attract, y'know.

Asou x Mikoto -- No idea who should i pair Mikoto up with. Hanai's taken, so might as well pair her up with Asou.

Personal opinions:

Harima X Yakumo -- Nah, i just cannot imagine somebody gentle and kind as Yakumo being with somebody rough like Harima. She looks like the one who needs defending by another person throughout her life. And Harima is already busy with his manga.

Harima x Eri x Yakumo -- Hell, no. I don't think i want to see 100 chapters of Eri Vs Yakumo and seeing Yakumo so helpless.

I voted for Flag, since I think they'd actually make a good (well, not good so much as hilarious!) couple.

I also voted for Flute, mainly because I think it's really cute. And once again, Hanai and Mikoto would be so funny together. :rolleyes:

I'm basically saying the same thing as the favorite character poll. I'm all for Eri and Harima pairing. The Mangaka should scrap all storylines and make a " Taming of the Shew" kinda story involving Eri and Harima. Throw in the equally beautiful Yakumo for some conflict. Throw Tenma x Karasuma and Akira x herself in the garbage for all I care, they drag down the series.

Persoanlly, I never liked the HarimaXEri pair up. And perhaps I never will. I get more thrills watching the HarimaXYakumo scenes. I'll try to list down all the reasons why...I mean no offense to all the other factions.

1. I think Yakumo is more interesting.
2. All the girls in SR are attractive in their own way but it's Yakumo's personality that won me over.
3. It's hard for me to imagine Harima to end up with any other character other than her.
4. I like the idea of GoodxEvil couples. Harima = Bad Ass/ Yakumo = Good Angel (Opposites Attract stories)
5. She's been so good to Harima the entire series.
6. The idea that she wasn't interested in boys until she met and got to know Harima is a reason too!
7. She makes Harima feel at ease. Even being honest, sometimes. ( This is a little hard to explain, but I think its true)
8. I got more excited watching HarimaXYakumo scenes than any other pairing in the anime when I saw it the first time.
9. Discovering they both liked animals actually made me HAPPY. (can't explain why)
10. Iori likes them both

Hahaha...for some reason I wanted to make it 10 reasons. The last one was a joke. Just so that it would reach ten. That's my piece of cake.

I multi-ship a lot in this series. I can't help it! When the mangaka himself caters to different (and overlapping) ships, then it's like he's saying I can have fun too. :p

Favorites would be Harima/Eri, Harima/Yakumo, Hanai/Mikoto and Karasuma/Tenma. I think this might be because the manga's focusing on them a lot lately, so my mind's on them too, but really. I don't care who becomes canon as long as they continue to interact in such interesting ways.

Onigiri, definately. Yakumo and Harima just seem to work too well with each other, and I just feel like I wish for Yakumo to have a happy ending. I'm not exactly AGAINST Kids Meal/Flag, I just think that Yakumo is much better suited for Harima.

Flute as well. That one scene in season one showed me that the two of them definately belong together. It's just a shame that they didn't show any relationships blossoming.

And finally, Apple. Ichijou is just so cute, and she would make a very nice wife for Imadori. In other words, she would force him to get out of his hentai life.

here is my theory of endings of harima end up with.... in end of SR

highest chance :No one

- Harima will never end up with any of SR girls... because you know why in SR sanggaki harima didnt end up with no one? it's because he's not the real Main character in SR... well secondary main char... but the real main character in SR is Tenma.... it's says in the cover of SR that tenma the heroine of SR...
and ofcourse every anime has its goal to accomplish and the goal of tenma the heroine is to be with karasuma... that's why the end of sanggaki harima didnt end up with no one and tenma end up with karasuma because she is the heroine...... and because the goal of heroine of SR has been accomplished maybe in SRZ she's not the heroine anymore but harima... i hope....

2nd high chance : harima will end up with tenma

-As I said before the real heroine here is Tenma not Harima he's just the 2nd main character here......
and also maybe in SRZ i think he's the next Heroine here and he's goal might accomplished by getting tenma...
and also there are many clues in the last episodes of SR sanggaki try and watch it he says there "that a man will get tenma back from the karasuma she love"

Well Both times Yakumo has failed to kiss him, First one Akira saved Harima and second Harima made elephant lips to avoid contact with her while Akira took the pic.

I like the ending of the acting, it's almost like Eri is referring to KJ.. you better not leave this sh!t unfinished.

The only advantage so far Eri has over Yakumo is seeing Harima completely naked, it's funny though.. from that little awkward spark and the fuel from his previous confession and Rainy day incident she worked her way up to liking him.

And now.. I believe Harima owes Eri a crap load of money but she doesn't seem to care.. she only uses that excuse to reel him in.

Yakumo was going to confess to him right? But then Harima retaliated immediately and told her she's in love with manga.

He also sends Eri away a number of times because of Tenma.. worst was on Eri's birthday with the cake.

There you have it.

i think how many times they confess to harima they will always be rejected because harima's love will always be with Tenma......

Yeah I was pleasantly surprised at how the Eri one developed. Not that I'm happy that it happened, but that I was surprised that things led to such a direct confrontation between the two.

The Yakumo one I would have liked a bit more from. It was still a bit gray, as per most of the Yakumo-Harima relatinoship.

How I wish that the author would make a SRZ sequel to show who ends up with who and show their new lifestyles =/ It would be without doubt epic .

Anyways , I think Tenma should end up with Karasuma since it have been shown that Karasuma have been recovering at a steady pace ( although he mistook Hige as Hanai ) . In the near future , he probably would recover completely and Tenma would be in her own lalaland already .

For Hige , my money goes to Eri for sure . The chemistry between Hige and Eri cannot be compared with any other characters , you definitely don't see bickering couples in SR like Hige X Eri . Others may say that Hige said that he won't ever fall in love again but that was before his impression of Eri was changed . So Eri stands a chance .

As for Yakumo , even if Hige leaves her , she would not be as devastated as Eri would be ( if Hige were to fall in love with Yakumo ) as shown when Eri misunderstood that Suou was going out with Hige in the early chapters . Both Yakumo and Eri are similar cases in terms of having boys fawning over them , except that Yakumo has a slight advantage of having Hige fall in love with her since both of them are living under the same roof for now .

Although Yakumo has the advantage against Eri , Hige only treats Yakumo as his little sister as shown in the manga / anime thus the nickname ' Imouto ' whereas for Eri , Hige was shown to treat her more than just a friend when Eri pleaded him to become her fiancee . Who in the world would become engage ( even if in name only ) with a friend that he does not have feelings towards ?

Not to mention the fact that Yakumo 's love is considered ' probably ' / ' maybe ' as shown in the manga . In the other hand , Eri is quite certain about her feelings for Hige except that she just doesn't want to admit it since she would become the joke of the world if she were to admit that she loves Hige when she rejected so many potential suitors in the past .

So .. Eri X Hige FTW !!
