Who came up with the new banners?

Just notice the new christmas themed top page banner and I must say I like it. Especially since it rotates to a different one each time you load the page. :)

Just wanted to say I love the idea and would love to see this more throughout the year actually. The idea is quite nice, and the artwork is excellent!! :)

there was a contest for christmas banner about 1 week ago, everyone submitted their banners (regradless if they are good or bad XD ).

Yeah, when the forums crashed the rotation code was removed. There used to be two banners rotating before. One had Celes and Naga on it, the other had Turbo from To Heart on it. I like the new banners a lot, though I don't like how one of them pops over on the right.

It was decided to put the Flash_Squirrel/Tzurial banner on the right because Flash_Squirrel forgot to leave empty space on the right. Because of his mistake the banner has a sharp edge that doesn't blend into the background.

GHDPro decided to move it to the right side of the screen to cover the mistake. I think it looks pretty good there, but I admit that it would be better if they were kept in the center.

For all those who weren't paying attention to the banner contest, I would like to say that after New Years, the two Christmas Theme banners will be phased out, leaving us only with the Winter Theme banner. We will then hold another banner contest to determine what banner (or banners) replace the remaining banner after winter ends.

Wow, sweet. You should keep these banners in storage for next christmas. :) Oh, and what we doing for banners for Valentines day, St. Patricks day and Easter? I would assume we're going to have banners for each, or we just gonna stick with the general winter banner until spring?

Hmmm, valentines day and obon would probably be the easiest to find in acutal animes...Could be really fun to see those banners actually :)

Well, I know our fan artists here in the forums could probubly put any holiday look onto any anime charecter if they wanted to. Heck, I wouldn't put it past them to put someone like Megu from Tenshi na Konamaiki in a bunny suit. Now that would look utterly cute. :love::love::love::love:
