That's the way I felt when it ended...

I think Utawarerumono characters are really difficult to sketch, more so than your typical anime character. They're so detailed and each of them has a certain style of their own (Utawarerumono-character clothes are a killer!!).. therefore I don't think you should be so hard on yourself over your pics. (And you're way better than I am at CG!)

In fact you can have your thirst stalled by one way (what i'm doing atm, even if I watched Utawarerumono half a year ago). I have waited the translating patch for Utawarerumono game for a loong time, and now the first patch is out and they are doing the rest of it with good speed.

Btw, the PC game is Action/RPG/Hentai game. ;)

And don't want to spoil from it.. so just saying one thing, the ending is different. (And u can live with the story even more than in anime, if you're interested from gaming.) :p

Would buying the game really patch up the ending... ^^;; I heard about the game on other threads already haha... But I doubt I'd find the time to actually play games. Come to think of it, the evoked feeling of despair was an emotional experience by itself. It's really fascinating taking an objective stance; and with respect to that, the ending was simply beautiful. I appreciate it =D.

I attended ANIME ESCROW 2007. Here I am as Hakuoro and a rather good Karura/Karla/Karula/whatever. (She said she had a sword but put it away).

Actually, there is nothing in the anime that shows weither they are male or female. And the game is not proof. The twins in Full Metal Panic - The Last Raid are male in the light novel but female in the manga and anime. Mashiro in Mai Otome is male in the manga and female in the anime. If you check you will find that there is a long thread arguing about their sex, but, unless there is an OVA which gives a definite answer there is no way to say for sure.

I'm straight, I think they are male in the anime, and I love those two characters. Don't act immature about these things, though; there are gay males on this board that like male anime characters, and you shouldn't act all surprised or shocked about that.

In regards to the Utawa twins, I really like them because I find them to be appealing and lovable characters, and to be rather moe characters; but also, I love kemonomimi characters (characters that are mostly human, but with animal ears and/or an animal tail). Obviously, Utawa is an anime full of such characters. I got into Utawarerumono because of kemonomimi characters being prominent in the anime. I also really like Eruuruu, Karura, Kuuya, Sakuya, and Touka. Aruuruu is cute, too. My love for kemonomimi characters not only got me into this series, but Wagaya no Oinari-Sama (about a fox-girl) and Spice and Wolf (see avatar, about a wolf-girl). :)

If it was made official, the internet would know about it; as in, the debate wouldn't still be going on on message boards and it would reach Utawa net communities. What you heard is just fanboys talking. Fanboys for one side of the arguement or the other will say they are confirmed to be male/female just to try to convince people of something that actually has not been officially confirmed.
