With episode 7, we're finally getting into the thick of things.

Ah, Peorth! Always nice to see her and to listen to Sakuma Rei's voice other than My Melody these days.

Hot rival to the protagonist is a good way to stir up the somewhat cheesy pace of the second season. Now with four goddesses in the mix, let's see how K1 can cope with his feelings towards Bell. Personally, I hope that they keep Peorth here for a while.

Overall, a good episode.

Saw episode 07.
Ever since I saw Peorth in the 07 preview from the last episode, I've been casually wondering why there needs to be yet another goddess mingling in Keiichi's life. After watching episode 07, I can sort of understand and accept her presence, as Peorth serves as yet another catalyst in the relationship between Keiichi and Belldandy, this time through the angle of "doing a better job than Belldandy". And along with her comes with more opportunities for amusement. Belldandy was gloomy for a bit since she wonders if Keiichi is truely satisfied with his wish. For some reason, I much prefer the expression of a wistful Belldandy, than a plain happy Belldandy. Ah well.

Widescreen version is shown 2 weeks after the fullscreen version. So, there should be 5 of them right now.

No, widescreen is a 3 week difference to full screen. Ep 5 widescreen doesn't air till this friday.

I think they did. None of them have the fullscreen anymore.
I checked. I also just recently got the episodes 1-4 i believe and there all widescreen. cant find fullscreen anywhere. i guess they just want widescreen. :P

Well, according to the official website (http://www.tbs.co.jp/megamisama/07special/gekkan.html), Peorth is sticking around for 4 episodes in a row, so the next few weeks of Megami-sama should be quite interesting.

Considering the arc was like 7 chapters long for the manga, I'm not surprised.
Judging from the site, it seems like they are skipping the Tamiya chapter.

Anyway...I wonder what they are going to do after the Peorth arc.
I assume that the Urd/Marller arc and the Ninja Masters arc will be done this season.
Normally thinking the Welsper arc might be good for the season finale, but to do so they will have to do the Chihiro episode first...maybe Sayoko's castle?
But that doesn't have the "climax feel" or the urgency of the Lord of Terror/Welspar arc...

But bottomline, after the Peorth arc, I am going to be praying to god for the Urd/Marller arc...

wow nice episode, pretty funny on how Keiichi manages to call back to heaven again :D..aw why doesnt it occur on me T_T. 1 thing i dont get is the number of districts in heaven. I didnt knew there was this Earth Assistance Center. Anybody know which Assistance Center Belldandy belongs to again.?

Am I the only one that thinks that the choice of Peorth's seiyu is completly wrong?
She sounds like a typical stupid quasi-evil anime character(like Naga from Slayers), while my impression from manga is that she should sound like a young french version of that campus Queen.

I'm not going to say that Peorth's seiyu is completely wrong, because there are times when she is absolutely perfect. It is usually when she gets in that egotistical high-pitched stupid laugh mode where it sounds very off. When Peorth is talking seriously, she sounds very nice. Overall, I'm pretty happy at how Peorth came out in animated form. I'll never understand how Keiichi can even think of running away from her in that lingerie though.

My personal opinion as to what arc will definitely be aired this season will be Skuld receiving her angel which will segue into the angel eater arc. I know that it happens late in the manga, but it is an opportunity to bring all 5 goddesses together as well as bring Hild in and we do see Skuld with Noble Scarlet in the opening. Angeleater arc will also allow this season to end on a more action based arc like season 1. Chihiro will definitely make an entrance as well, possibly with Keiichi becoming head of the motor club. Then again, I could be totally wrong, and all the characters in the intro were just there to tease the audience.

Fullscreen version has been dropped from subbing. If you want subs, you have to get the widescreen version. This was announced after episode 4 was subbed and released in fullscreen, that AonE and AYuki were switching completely to widescreen.

I believe it's the Goddess Assistance Agency. I know she says it's the Goddess Help Line, so I assume it's that.

Good episode I thought. It's always nice to have someone stir things up and push Belldandy a little. I think her and Keiichi need to move on each others feelings a little more.

Anyway, Woo fun episode gave it a nine. Very nice intro to Peorth and good laughs to boot.

A previous episode had Belldandy accidently get drunk. She ran around town trying to make people happy. Keichi said "it will be a shame to let go of this hand", so belldandy chants something and they are stuck holding hands for an episode.

Although the flashback for the whole camera/party thing could just be foreshadowing a future episode which does a flashblack...who knows.

This was a great episode because it furthered Bells and Keiichi relationship, which should of been probably to lovers about 6 months ago in there timeline.

Anybody know which Assistance Center Belldandy belongs to again.?


It is the "Goddess Assistance Agency". My personal theory is that while Peorth seems more "down to earth" (sorry for the easy pun) ;) , the Goddess Assistance Agency tackles jobs more of a spiritual nature....

This being said, the graphic quality keeps up, and the whole episode is quite faithful to the manga (maybe even too much so, and hence there is no suprise in watching).

You get the impression Peorth will do anything (and I mean ANYTHING)
for Keiichi but to her it's really ultimately just a job.

K1 and Bel' have something very special and unique.
