Saw episode 08.
The animation and art quality took a dive in this episode. The character's facial appearences fluctuated, especially Keiichi's. There was that one scene near the end (about ~20:08) where K1 turned around, and he totally did not look like K1. That kinda got in the way of the touching mood of that scene between Belldandy and K1. Oh well, despite that, this was one of the more amusing episodes yet. LOL, at Megumi confessing her "love" for K1. I cheer for you Megumi, your love can "transcend those foolish bonds of blood." Heh heh, even I know of that infamous scene from the manga. Seeing it animated was hilarious as well, but I can't wait to see it with English subs to experience the full effect.

Well, at least this episode answers a certain topic question in this sub-forum. And of course, the perennial Murphy's Law of Urd's magic potions is used to full effect. Poor Sora, getting exploited a lot in the second season:p

The second part of the Peorth campaign month ends on a comedic note, thereby heightening my expectations for some serious battle from the next episode.

On a different note (make it, there wasn't any appropriate threads for this), the official website (http://www.tbs.co.jp/megamisama/04goods/cd.html) announced the second ending song: 恋人同士 (koibito doushi=Lovers) to be performed by 樹海=Jukai, to be released on July 26. They are currently doing the ending song for Fate/stay night, so I'm looking forward to a lusty ballad.

There most likely won't be a subbed version of Episode 8 released, as they licensed it. :(

Well I was looking at a site that lists anime releases and its listed. So its out. Today. Though they may not release anymore. No matter. I had totally forgotten about the series til I saw it posted on the site. So I can wait til the dvd sub releases.

It's licensed but any news on WHEN discs hit the streets?

I recall a particular fansubbing group would keep subbing, say, Karin until
the discs hit the streets then withdrew the fansubs of that episodes from
the torrents. Don't know if the fansub group is planning on that or not.
It's up to them and depends on what legal risk they plan on taking.

Regardless, I enjoy the series too much to keep downloading torrents now that it's licensed. I'll wait for the legit DVD.

What exactly was Peorth doing at the end of this episode? Did Urd make her take more love potion so she fell in love with a statue?

Yup, you got it. As punishment, Urd made Peorth fall in love with a tanuki statue.

Hysterical. I particularly thought that Skuld's confession to K1 was hysterical,
especially the little stars in her eyes. Even Urd wasn't immune. Ultimately
though real love won out as expected but when all four were googling over
him I think Keiichi was seriously considering being a monk there for a minute.
