Fun episode the first part was enjoyable watching Hanai harass Yakumo. Harima is scum:heh: going after Napoleon just because Tenma wanted pork.:heh:Imadori, Lala, Tougou, and Ichijou work great together. The middle part was the b chapters where Nishimoto gives up his porn collection and Hanai is caught in an embarassing position:heh:. And the final part is a story focusing on Sara. Next week looks interesting to say the least;).

sadly, it seems like season 2's quality is gradually degrading..certainly not up to par with season 1's quality of humor

Nice episode, though it looks like the anime is trying to bring out the side characters (again). /sigh

(3) Akira's reaction to Sara talking about love-confession was really unexpected!


The previews for the next episode look promising though! I wonder who that is? Alternate Tenma?

Another, how could I say it, solid(?) episode. They used the same formula as episode 10, and followed the manga. But it is like what Anime Online said, its another side character development episode which I think is a tad too much for this season. Ni-gakki is almost coming to an end (2 more eps remaining), I wonder how can they build up the final arc to finish the season.

They would probably add another batch of OVA's to get to the unused chapter in Volume 11. Though sadly, I'm not expecting another season of School Rumble, unless the final two episodes were as good as the final two/three episodes of season 1.

I might agree to Apathy that Season 2's quality is deteriorating, since they started off really good the first 6 episodes (Cultural Festival Arc), but fell a little flat on Basketball arc, then eventually showing two consecutive episodes (and also three of the last five episodes) wherein there are no arcs at all.

We are just in the middle so it awesome to have side characters take the spotlight while it last. Eri-Harima will come back don't worry about quality deteriorating. It's an illusion.;)

This episode did not have the impact that the other episodes had. It felt kind of flat. Maybe because it was focusing on too many side characters, it might have spread itself thin.

I was really annoyed with Hanai in the episode. He forced himself on Yakumo (well, with the food at least), even though she rejected him. He was definitely not a gentlemen in this episode. As for him getting caught with the videos, he deserved it, since from the confession scene, it appears he was going to watch it himself.

Also, the whole section with Sara seemed a bit confusing. Who is that guy going to confess to? Why was that girl crying after the game? Can Sara, as a nun, actually have a boyfriend?

Actually, he's gonna confess to the long haired girl whom he asked out after the Survival game in episode 2 and 3. I believe she was there at the match and screamed "Shooot!". I forgot their names though. Sara was cheering them on, I think.

erm average eps this week -__- only funny part was putting burgers and chips into the hotpot and the cute pig running...rest was kinda empty...or rather to serious...but it was better than nothing ;)

Yeah, maybe it was for the comedy effect but I think Hanai wasn't done well this episode. I just can't see him acting like this towards Yakumo.

There will be. But only for around 5-7 consecutive chapters. After that, I think that's it.

Abit disappointed, just before SR 2nd term began i was reading (more like looking since it was in japanese :D) V12, i couldn't find V11 (but i've read V10 of-course) and once SR 2nd term started i thought i just get some of V11 from the anime. So far it looks as thought there isn't any or many major events in V11? i know it's to early to say but i just have that feeling.

I'm glad to read that SR 2nd term will last for 26 episodes should be enough to reach some or most of V12 and i think V12 is great, especially the last few chapters :D.

I think it's not love...Hanai's obsessed with Yakumo. Though the next few episode might be focused on Hige x Ojo, we can't disregard the that harima STILL likes Tenma. :cool:

If I'm not mistaken, the guy is Tanaka and the girl is Nagayama. Didn't they get together in the survival game, at the start of Ep. 3?

I still haven't seen an official word on the number of episodes, yet. Based on the previews, next week seems to be Exams/Tenma's birthday dinner, which would make Ep.13 the birthday party section. If they wanted to end with 13 episodes, that point in the story is a possible place for them to stop. Now that I've been thinking about it, the new ending song might just be for Ep.13. Remember the "School Rumble 4ever" song of last season?

I wouldn't mind very much either way. If they wanted to, they could easily do that big Christmas story arc as a set of "Christmas OVAs". Besides, they'd probably face censorship issues if they released the bath house scenes in a TV episode. :heh:

They still haven't shown Karen's brother or Itoko/Sasakura's racing, yet, which were both promised by the OP. Regardless of what happens, there's bound to be more SR in the future. We'll have a much clearer picture when we see the preview for next week.

I found this ep boring. Granted, I was super sleepy when I watched and still am. But a good SR ep would normally be enough to awaken me. Add to that almost 0 Eri screen time and little Harima = 4/10. Yakumo had some moments and Hanai too but I never care for the fat Buddha character, or Imadori as I find him unlikeable and annoying. Somehow it seems like the food bit has been done before, or maybe that's a common element in comedies.

The most Eri shown in this ep was for the preview of next ep. I counted her lines to be about one or two. Instead they gave that other Brit girl who I can't stand. What's the deal with Catholicism in Japan too, where did that come from?

Well, Japan did have a closed door policy before Meiji (I think, if my Jap history serves me right). For all I know, Japanese people love their culture (which probably explain why local goods are more expensive than imported ones).

A bit strange seeing Hanai turning into a more disturbing version of
Mayama (Honey & Clover) being very obsessive about his love interest.

Am I the only one who waited that whole month or so? Oh, well. Hanai was terrible in this episode. I was hoping Harima or someone would take pity on her and punch him in the face. Trying to force feed her, that pink pr0n aura... Too annoying.

I really liked the Sara part, though.

Now the preview for the next episode... oh my. I never considered that faction... it doesn't have a name, does it? Misleading preview, I'm sure, but... :)
