Hey there. I'm a first-time poster, long-time anime fan. I just wanted to say that I love this whole torrent thing. It's pretty new to me, and I'm loving it! I've been into anime since '94 or so when a friend introduced me to Lum and Ranma. I can't say I've done a good job in keeping up with everything going on the the anime universe, but I like to think I'm at least a LITTLE smarter than the average bear. But only a little. Thanks to this site I now have way more anime on disk than I'll ever be able to watch. My girlfriend thanks you too!

I'll try not to say too much since it'll just get me in trouble. :)

I'm STILL waiting for someone to get Akazukin Cha Cha into the torrent world. I've only got about 32 eps on really cruddy VHS, and until I see an authorized DVD release (will that ever happen?) I don't think I'll be able to shell out any cash for it. Anyone? Anyone?

Good to have you aboard. The router problem can be solved fairly easily with enough dedication. Goto bittorrent help and you'll threads dedicated to your problem(many other people have it).

Slade - I'm afraid I've never played the game. The truth is Mercury Knight is a character from a fanfic I wrote. I was looking for a picture that might best portray him(I'm no artist:(). My favorites mangas are The Five Star Stories, Kaori Yuki ones, Atsushi Kamijo's Sex, Berserk, Blade of the Immortal, and i'm reading Kaguya Hime with a lot of interest (i love shoujo stuff ^_^).

At least I've subscribed myself to this board.

About 1½ year ago, a friend from school put my attention to Anime. I began watching anime with a classic one: Neo Genegis Evangelion (damn I hope I'm writing it correct ;))

Bit by bit I'm exploring the world of anime and enjoying it much and much more :D


Nowdays I might say I'm not a newbie (at anime ;)) anymore. I haven't seen it all (impossible, if you ask me), but till now I think I've seen about 88 series/movies.

Some I love, some I'm wondering why the h*ll I'm watching it :)

A few of my favorites:
- Slayers (Season 1,2 and 3)
- Berserk
- NGE (with both endings, the still intrige me :))
- Air Master (seen recently, I love this anime :D)
- Ranma ½ (season 1 to 7, Hippo is my Idoll ;) *sweet* )
- Kenshin (OAV and TV series)
- Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 1st Gig (also recently seen, hope they finnish the 2nd season quick :))
- Blue Gender (very nice, not-so-for-kiddies-but-no-hentai-anime, if I may call it thay way)

I'm still watching a lot of series. IE:
- Naruto (hell, eps 60-75 are really slow :|, but overall a nice anime)
- Inuyasha (quite nice, but a some points I think a *bit* slow)
- Tenjou Tenge (only seen eps 1-2, but it have potential)

Well, It's quite late here in Holland (where I live), about 1:50AM local time.
So I need to finnish this one quick :D

(don't mind the typos, I don't do anyway ;))

Hi everyone! My man loves watchin' Japanese cartoons, you call them anime. He showed me many and they look alright. I don't mind him watchin' them but I do like some of them too after watchin' a few of them. Well, I hope to watch a few more soon. He did show me Chobits and Love Hina, and I thought WOW!, there is a story, it is colorful and they speakin' a foreign language. At least he got the English words on the bottom so I can understand. Hajime no Ippo is also, IMO, the best sports anie out there. I've watched the tv series plus the 2 ovas - really good stuff.

Hello everyone - I'm glad to be here...it seems like i stumbled upon an interesting place. Name's Tyson 'Scrumhalf' Linh. Currently 20 years of age. Born, raised, & resides in Melbourne (Australia's most livable city!!!!!!). Ethnicity is Welsh/Vietnamese. Languages I speak - English, Welsh (Cymraeg), Vietnamese, Japanese.
My main interests are Anime & Sports. I love them both to the highest, equally. Cannot distinguish them both. Favourite anime titles include Initial D, GTO, The Full Metal Panic series, Fushigi Yuugi, & currently FMA! (I'm a hardcore Ed x Winry fanboy also ;) )

Uh, I don't know if anyone will read this with so many pages...
But, hi everyone. I am glad to find this forum. Looks a little busy though; so hopefully I can squeeze into the community here.
I own a lot of anime; and I am constantly looking for good anime to watch and perhaps own someday.
I do a lot of other things, but anime is on the top of my list for means of entertainment. I just can't seem to get enough of it!
