Both Seasons (1 & 2) and the OVA(s) of School Rumble have been officially licensed by Funimation and therefore we won't be listing fansubs here on AnimeSuki.

Now editing this post after seeing episode 20 (and 21 as well).

Lol, three totally different stories. The Imadori-Ichijou Dojibiron story was wacko, bringing out the best in Ichijou.

On the other hand, the story between Fuyuki and Yuuki was quite touching. With so many people in School Rumble, they may be minor characters, but episodes dedicated to them allows them to be seen with a different perspective.

As for the Cyborg Department story, hearing Yakumo call Tenma by her name made my day.

Too bad I can't comment on episode 21, as it would be out of topic, but just one comment: Magical Mai rules!

It was aired back to back as separate episodes (20 and 21), although intended as a 1 hour sepcial.

I would request making a separate thread for episode 21 due to the voting factor, although the stories are more or less of the same nature.

:heh: This was crazy I'm heavily biased when it comes to Ichijou so I loved the first part. The stuff with Tsumugi was nicely done but it's sort of wasted being put between 2 comedy heavy parts. The 3rd part was just awesome I nearly fell off my chair when Harima flips off sawachika:heh:.

i would give it a 10, but i don't understand half of it....yet.......till then i'll give it 9.5. the part where imadori slipped ichijo laced bra on his way home was toooooo hilariousssssss. And then the part where harima flipped at eri was priceless.......i too almost fall out of my bed laughing so hard at that scene. then there's the mecha-robo-fly version of nishimoto, nara, and yoshidayama. The way they attk the girls really reflect their real mindset.........LOL. I was hoping harima pull out some magic trick, or turn into some kind of super saiyan.....but nonetheless.....great filler episode. imadori is awesome in this one.

Just saw the raws...ACK!!! Kurasuma is the leader?~!! Well Harima is a bad ass so he always gets the villian roles, just like in the war games.
Just keep your paws off the girls Kurasuma...well Tenma is an exception. ^_^

Watched the raws this morning:


Yay! The long awaited Ichijou Dojibiron episode! I can't stop laughing and grinning at the first part of this episode, because Ichijou and Imadori really looks good together. Plus the bike scene at the end puts the cherry on top of their love cake. :D

As for the second part of this episode, its so-so. It's cool that side characters get to shine in this one, and it's much more cooler because Ichijou was there again! Too bad Tsumugi was not one of my favorite side characters, so I gave her less love for this one.

The third part was an anime original. I LOVE the Karasuma Harem part, with Yakumo even posing awkwardly. Although since this is an anime original, I didn't understand much of the dialogue, so the punchline at the end (Robo Suga?) I didn't get much. Harima was extremely funny in this one, especially he wrestled with Lala in their office.

If only I could read and speak Japanese, maybe I could have given this episode a 9. :D

The anime seems to show harima as a weakling. for the past couple episodes they show other characters beat harima....strength wise. First, the fight with karasuma @ the xmas party, then wrestling with lala........and got pinned down. He even has to use his red underwear to fight against magikal mai......what's up with that harima?

I think this is the effect of harima getting along with tenma. tenma = bad luck, so tenma + harima = harima getting his ass kick. That's why he should give up tenma and go for eri.

It's not filler--it's actually funny. In that SR kind of way. 2/3 of ep 20 is from the manga anyway.

7 for me. First part was good, second part was best (great music btw), third part was too random.

The "harem" and Harima flipping off Eri scenes were funny, everything else was just weird...especially Yakumo saying "Tenma". I think they should've gone with a full-on Sakura Wars parody instead of those...body paint suits :heh:

The body painted suits reminds me of Neo Ranga another anime that has body paints similar to what the girls wore in the battle simulation :heh:

first part ~ imadori is such a big baby XD and the way he teases ichijou is just evil...but funny XD its great ^^
second part ~ sweet, touching and nice change to the mood *thumbs up*
third part ~ haha evil evil...classic comedy :D even yakumo went over to the dark side haha!

the only part of 20 i liked was the ichijou imadori scene in the first 1/3. otherwise, i really thought the ep was atrocious. heh, i haven't been this disappointed at school rumble since the basketball arc, one hour of pure meh. :(

third part- reminded me of koi koi 7 lol , does anyone know what parody was it from ? or it was just a totally random thing that they just did out of boredom lol , then mai-otome (though it did feel like mai-otome o.o)

i guess i give it a 9 since it made me laugh XD

The fillers (I consider it filler because it doesn't follow the central storyline) in this episode were a bit disappointing. It was simply too random, even for School Rumble lol :heh:

The only part that I really enjoyed was the first, involving Ichijou and Imadori. I'm glad that they got some screen time together, because I'm definitely a fan of the couple, especially Ichi-san :D.

The middle third of the show would probably have been better if we've seen a bit more of the minor characters. Fuyuki the camera guy in particular hasn't shown up since when? ...the early parts of the first season?

hahaha i actually liked fuyuki and nara a bit in early season 1 because they showed promise the first few times we saw them. but now ... feh ... fuyuki is just *there* and nara does nothing except tag along with yoshidayama and nishimoto. although nigakki tried to focus a lot more on side characters, the minor characters really got shunted, so when they appeared in this ep as focus characters (without harima involvement :D) i found them kinda lacking

eh ... i'm kinda disappointed at these eps to be honest, but next week's ep looks promising

oh yea ... is it just me or does it sound like there's no ep next week? at the end of 21, i got that impression

welll the seiyu for tenma is also the seiyu for the main girl in mai otome. anyway, the part where harima flippin at eri was priceless.

Useless ep. At least there was some harem and fanservice. Also Eri is back to her old self, it makes me remember why she was my fav. I like that Sagano girl, not bad. The dorky girl with glasses needs to go.

That Suga robot shows up in the third popularity contest chapter. Looks like they decided to add the Suga robot in this episode...

BTW Yes the when Eri thinks Harima is looking at her and starts blushing which causes Harima to say "It's not you Bitch!!!" the flips her off was one of the funniest things I've seen in School Rumble lol. :heh:

Have just watched eps 20. And honestly, it's a real let down for me. Sure, it's got some funny moments, but each story is just too random. Also, having watched last week's ep with tenma and harima, I was expecting them to continue developing the story.

I just hope that the ending for SR2 will not be like the first season. Even if it does not end, I hope there'll be some sort of closure. The ending for season 1 really caught me off guard, and it took me a few days (I think it was 3) before I could say something other than "WTF" and "WTH".

I've glimpsed at eps 21, and I'm not looking forward to watching it. Probably gonna watch it just before I sleep... to help me sleep.:uhoh:

First part: I know it is in the manga. Although I like Dojibiron (that song...xD) and the characters (Ichijou and Imadori), I think It´s quite simple...empty.

Second part: I don't understand this part very well, I mean, the dialogue between Yuuki and Fuyuki:

Why is she being so harsh with him? Why does she say he looks down on her, that he scorns the opinion of others? What's happening between them? It seems like the author want to give more depth to that characters, but it just doesn't make sense, because we don't know anything of them! I only understood that Yuuki loves Hanai but she thinks he's in love with Mikoto.

Third part: Well, the premise is ok but I don't find it funny at all. I think it only contains fanservice. I don't know why they are including new side stories when they have lots of much better stuff in the manga.

I almost couldn't remember who Fuyuki was. Anyway, the whole thing just seems like the anime was trying to create some depth on the side characters and then proceeding to fall flat on its face.
