I just finished watching Mobile Suit Gundam and I was wondering what series do I go to next in Universal Century to continue where the Mobile Suit Gundam story left off? Also MS Gundam was very enjoyable more so then even Gundam Seed.

I'd go with Zeta Gundam. The sticky can tell you what year every series happens in, and Zeta is next up if you decide to NOT include the OVAs. The ovas are really great, but if you want a continuation of the story, I'd say to just stick with zeta.

But 0083 I hear has some information of the events that lead up to zeta. I didn't watch it (and you don't need to), so someone else can probably fill you in on that.

Watched it already and I said what series should I watch next in the UC era.

In that case Double Zeta is the way to go. Best UC next to MSG by far.

0083 is best watched after Zeta so you can actually pick up the cameos and understand the series better... It IS made as a prequel to Zeta, not the other way around...

Why not try getting away from Gundam for a while? Try even moving to a different mecha series, like Full Metal Panic, Evangelion or Patlabor.

Watched Fullmetal Panic already, Fumoffu, and The Second Raid. The thing is I want to watch the UC era by timeline and from looking at the sticky I should watch 08th MS Team, 0080 War in the Pocket and then 0083 Stardust Memory.0

mecha anime?? dont know which type you want but

Sokyo no Hafner (mecha fighting on earth against these enemies)
Sousei no Aquarion (Ummm a little dificult to explain in words since its a pretty different anime) but i personally didnt think it was bad
kenran butoh sai (mecha fighting in the sea of mars) very good overall
vandread (mecha fighting in space)
Crest of the Stars (space anime.. not really mecha but good if you want space battles)

these arent bad for mecha anime.

Not to be an asshole or anything but it is Sokyo no Fafner. Just making the correction incase he decides to look it up.

I would say zeta it is a lot differnt, and has a lot of the same people in it.
