Fantastic. When I see this it makes me think
How things could have turned out differently if Misa had been emotionally deeper and as intelligent as Light, enough for him to consider her a legitimate girlfriend, and they'd worked together as Kira. Man, that would've rocked.
Although Light is the person who looks best in this picture. (Excepting her eyes.) Imagine the lyric "I'm a trickster who doesn't know solitude" but without the hollow, cold gaze you see in the ED.

Actually, you know, reinterpreting the characters while looking at this art...
Makes me realize how Death Note would have been different if Light had been a bit less competitive and hot-headed, and had just taken a relaxed note to his role as Kira.

That is, if instead of thinking "Only I can create a perfect world. All who oppose that world are evil and will be eliminated!" he had experienced thoughts such "Naturally, I must create the perfect world. Conflicts are intellectually stimulating, but fools must necessarily part with their lives."

Now see in the world of jigoku shoujo that doesn't really matter. You don't necesarily need a full name(or a name) for hell correspondance as long as the person is clearly enough described. The rest is read from the circumstances and Ai's(or her teams insight).

But Light won't be sent to hell since the rules of deathnote mentioned that if one used the deathnote,he or she won't descend to heaven or sent to hell after death.

Besides,Ai is a target for Light since she sent people to hell by making them dissappear and that will make Light think that Ai is evil.

Yeah no spoilers in mine, I haven't read the manga or anything. :) Haven't seen the black one, black is boring to me. Of course it's an obvious idea for a wallpaper. I was trying to mimic the look of L's logo as seen on computer and TV screens in the first few episodes.
