If you really think about it, the Book of Darkness couldn't have been "victorious" all of the time, surely there were others who managed to destroy the Book and reset its cycle... so Signum's probably been beaten hundreds of times.

Detroy it how? The thing is(or was) pretty much a juggernaut bomb, destroying it just accelerates the end of the world as we know it for the setting the book is. Also there's no evidence of said battles yet(probably a little flashback from Signum's bed remembering previous beatings will help to clear things up). The only confirmed defeats she has in canon before Cypha was against Fate(as is mentioned that Signum winned the "majority" of their rematches meaning that Fate manage to win one from time to time).

About the battle my money is on Saber(ya'know, Anti-Magic).

Aki, you shouldn't give up on what you admire like that.

All my errant japery aside, Signum is still extremely cool. So she lost- she was disadvantaged in that fight, she knew there was nobody else present who remotely stood a chance, and she wasn't going to have any backup. You yourself have pointed out that the Wolkies are not exactly ideal combatants for taking on the Hucks. But even so she attempted to hold the line at her own risk. How the heck is that not cool? She didn't win, but she did what any knight should do in that situation and only a fool would impugn her honor based on the result.

The novel scene i'm talking about is when Louise change the riding crop for an actual whip! And proceeds to whip Saito until he faints because of the pain. so yeah the novel are much more violent than the anime(and Louise is a much more bipolar character).

Got to agree with your first premise...romantic tsundere make me want to throttle them. They're cowards who don't have the guts to admit to their own feelings, they react to those feelings by abusing the object of those feelings (which is cute in a five-year old and ought to have her butt in jail for assault in anything resembling a real society), and they never even have to admit that they acted like a jerk and so much as apologize, let alone make any kind of genuine restitution. Ever.

(Usually the ones I can stand are ones who don't take their tsundere-ness to the wall...Shana works for that, and Tomari from Kashimashi. Not hitting or kicking the protagonist is a good start.)

Manzai-duo/friend tsundere like Tea or Victorique, on the other hand, tend to be entertaining.

When it comes to tsundere, I have two examples, and I honestly can't decide which is worse: Ayame Ikaruga from Asu no Yoichi, and Reika Hōjō from Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun. Both are that absolutely infuriating kind. You know, the kind that does nothing but insult and neglect the guy, and expect him to love them for their personality.

The ones that are infuriating are the ones that remain in status quo for no sensible reason other than maintaining the status quo for the sake of maintaining the status quo. Character development in this case is essentially zero, which can easily lead to resentment.

The whole bloody concept of the tsundere is the DEVELOPMENT. If there is none, the designer of the character has failed to get the point of having a tsundere character. Bear in mind that development does NOT mean 100% deredere. That's extreme, and possible character derailment.

About the Tsundere topic i agree that developement is important, if the character never experience any kind of growth for the sake of an eternal status quo it reach a point here it become just annoying(Shana 2nd Season was very close to hit that button with the entire "relationship reset" but fortunately the OVA's and novels are much, much better) Louise is a textbook example, any developement she gets is constantly rejected for the sake of the UST between her and Saito which turns pretty lame as the story progresses. Taiga is my favourite among the TsundeRies because she manage to grow out of the mold she started in and by the end of the season she's not the nicest person on earth but still one with a much more human behavior than in the beginning(it helps that this time the viewer was informed about the actual reasons that provoked said harsh behavior and worked on that). I also think Teana is a good example of Tsundere developement, much of her ranting comes with the pressure and insecurity she had over her own capacity and undertanding her virtues and limits and grow confident on her skills and decsisions take away most of the harsh elements of her personality ....unless Subaru is involved, of course xD!

To me, development, or lack thereof, is secondary to the real reason I dislike tsunderes. Which is that I hate slavery. Isn't that how it too often goes? She can't admit she likes him, yet she wants to control every aspect of his life - so he's her "slave", for some reason.

It's not solely the fault of the tsundere, but she's the most noticeable in the pair of culprits. (It takes two: one to trample the other, and one to act like a carpet...)

These are some pictures I drew while having nothing else to do with my life. You can probably tell that I've been experimenting on different styles.

I was doodling and this was the result. The feathers were really hard but fun. It was quite refreshing to do something new.

I just wanted to draw Nanoha with a scar. After thinking about the flashback in StrikerS, I remembered that she was badly injured but in all the official artwork, she is flawless. I understand why they didn't give her a scar but I still wonder what she would look like if she did. So this was the result. I was experimenting with a new tool in SAI which explains the boldness of the drawing. I don't like it as much but it still came out good in my opinion.

I LOVE Seikou! I learned a little about cell animation coloring and I wanted to test it out. It took me two days to finish it but overall I'm quite happy with it. But her feet might be too small and her arms a little wide. Still, I'm not good with perspective (and I just realized I never colored in her shoes white).

Behind Seikou, Olivie is my close second despite the fact we hardly know anything about her. While surfing the net, I came across a medieval dress and an idea came to mind. First time I drew a dress like that so I was quite scared about how it would come out. I tried to lighten up her right eye to show that she has heterochromia but I guess it didn't work out well. Then again, she probably doesn't even look like Olivie...

I was volunteering with a children's storytime program at a library. That day I was at the library's branch in the local sport's arena and the storytime was being held on one of the conference rooms there. As the kids were filing into the room my supervisor takes me aside and points out this guy standing nearby. She tells me that he's a convicted sex offender and that I should be wary of him. I still remember what he looks like, what he was wearing, and most of all that disgusting look in his eyes as he watched those kids. Needless to say but I was on high alert for the rest of the day. Fortunately I never saw him again.

I may cop to being a lolicon but I know where to draw the line. I will never become even remotely close to being some one like him.

I was thinking about doing that but I began drawing it this morning at around 2:30. I didn't go to sleep until around 4. :/ Then I finished it not that long ago. The reason why I drew it was because I was surfing the net and came across a picture that had birthday girl on it and the date. So I decided to do a quick sketch. Playstation Vita (non G3 version) and the 3DS are the same price. But the Vita is just by far the more superior machine in every aspect.

While the G3 version (only AT&T) is only $50 bucks more.

But another major reason that it's a nail in 3DS's coffin is that by some miracle, it's LESS Expensive in Japan than the 3DS.

Bubbles it's a toon character, toons character follow very few rules of anatomy, face proportions is not one of them, much more less the eyes. (Look at Mandy, Courage, Bob Squarepants, Rocko, etc, etc). Toons are supposed to look like freaks because that makes them look funnier.

DASH 3 is a joke and a development nightmare. The only reason the project ever got started was because Inafune used his position as head of global production to do so, and he's now gone from the company.

Further more, it has absolutely no support from the company at all. The whole co-developed by fans is also a joke. It's just an excuse to waste time by having people vote no tedious things. And even then they BS it anyways. They held that dumb revote for Rocks design because the westerners all voted for one design compared to the JP fans who voted for the other one (which one)

And last but not least, they've officially said that the sales of the demo would determine whether or not it's even green lighted. That's right, The DASH 3 project has not even been green lighted.

It's Dark Knight Touma, which is the most recent version of him that's under control. the new PV's also confirmed it's DK Touma due to being unisoned with Lilly so it'll probably be a case of him holding back.

Though seeing as there's no other character that's stronger, for GoD's final boss I get the feeling it's going to be similar to his obvious counterpart in in .hack//Link.

Oh right, Magic immunity in my Mahou Shoujo. God, that's worse than DBZ when the protagonists got too OP so they made all the rest of the villains have massive regenerative powers. But considering he's a character in Gears of Destiny, apparently he isn't going to be given unfair treatment. So still, Reinforce > Touma

It depends, apparently Black Knight Tohma still have some physical limits(if the Book's dialogue is to be believed) but also have the power to shrugg off nearly everything reinforce can throw to him, unless Reinforce decides to use AoE attacks or magic that circunvents mana de-linking, or using a more rude fightstyle(i remember Reinforce punching Nanoha silly into the ocean with her bare fist along with the lattter's Round Shield). I don't have all the elements necessary to determine how that fight will end. But i can say for sure that Tohma is far stronger than any character on the GoD game save "probably" for the Florian sisters(they came from the future, probably their weapons and magic are already prepared to fight the Eclipse).
