I'm not particulary a fan of this artist, he always draws the Nnaoha cast with horribly gigantic boobs and eyes that makes them look druged.

This Vita looks deformed and the placement of the legs makes the sensation she's falling and those thigths make her look fat. Not to mention that any woman would look much more decent naked that wearing those clothes.

Thanks for sharing tough, yet I think this artist can do it a lot better.

She's wearing clothes under her apron, of course, and Vivio actually finishes the line for her. When asked why she knows the routine, Vivio says Nanoha does it to Fate all the time.

You might want to check the options on the upload window on Imageshack. Sometimes, it defaults itself to resizing the image to whatever resolution it wants, usually 800 x 600. You should find the pull-down list on the upload window and set it to either "optimize without resize" or "do not resize" before you upload an image.

I know if I slack off for a day, I lose some tone. Being in competitive, fighting shape is a constant process. Moreover, a major injury isn't just that; it's a huge insult to your body's equilibrium and when it goes into recovery mode you lose just about everything for a while. After my accident, it took months after everything was healed to be able to run and jump, and I was lucky to get my full range of motion and shock absorbancy back at all. Signum is a badass who may or may not have a smidge of mutant healing factor left over, and Mid medical techniques are much better than what we've got, but I bet even she needs to retrain a little bit.

That being said, it's likely connotative of a speed increase, as the Fortress is primarily used for defense and flight in Zero Effect, where magical flight would normally be impossible. Thus, wings.

I prefer greatcoats or longcoats, but suits are nice too. Barrier Jackets resembling plate armors or lamellar armors would also be nice. Frankly, any BJ with enough fabric and a design that gives the impression that it's wearer is a warrior, not a pole-dancer.

She's no slouch in close-combat though (one of the most badass official images of her is clashing weapons with Signum afterall), and frankly shooting poses are less dynamic than slashing & swordfighting poses. We need more variety with Nanoha's poses rather than just the standard "point weapon" poses, which we already have a ton of.

I'm pretty sure that's her in the process of donning the thing. You'll notice in the bottom image has it clamped to her back like some grotesque mechanical insect. Those attachments are present in the top image, but open and unattached. I think what you're seeing is an armored base layer she wears under her barrier jacket, in conjunction with the huge exo-plates that go over the top. To either side of her you can clearly see the huge shield-tassets that are clamped to her waist when she's fully armored, awaiting attachment.

Also, on noticing the picture is labeled "Record 12," I'm not very sure it's even a technical upgrade from what we've already seen, wings be damned.

Maybe not, but it would be a good solution. Those floating shields are kind of a poor man's equivalent for actual armor.

Actually, they're the perfect defense against the type of attacks they're facing from the Eclipse. I think I saw something about a certain type of modern tank plating designed to deflect anti-armor hits that used a similar principle. If you want to block something extremely dangerous but don't expect your defense to survive a direct hit, you should avoid wearing it directly on your person. That's why shields were invented in the first place- a helmet doesn't do you much good when it's caved in through your skull.

Yes, I do think it's rather goofy and am not terribly fond of the current Nanoha arms race. It's one reason I'm looking forward to Caledfwlch showing its true face.

The Fortress has 3 sheilds that act as bits, but they're also hand held offensive weapons, so mounting them on the body isn't very convenient

Damnit, it occurred to me that I should have used a different video to showcase how over-the-top the hangar load-out sequence can be for Nanoha in her Fortress Mode exo-battlesuit.

I present to you a case study (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HK9_n9hpSg&t=1m50s) on how Seven Arcs can do it. I can easily visualise a similar sequence for Nanoha.
