I'll admit, while I was browsing through the official artbook (or whichever one it's from, it's official anyway), I nearly fell out of my chair after I saw that one. This is only a rough guess based on what I can read

Hayate: Where were you and Nanoha-chan (Where did you go with Nanoha-chan)? Did you make fried rice (bad translation; I can't discern what chaaha is except for Chinese fried rice)?
SFX: kira kira (sound for twinkle, shine, glint of Hayate's eyes)

I can't read the last line. Don't know whether that's hiragana or kanji or just gibberish.
