Yeah, my take on the Arisa Burning picture, is thats her supposedly with her own Guardian Jacket on.

For the Fate/Arf picture before that -- I guess theoretically that could be a "StrikerS" version of them both, since Arf gets a child-form as we've seen. But I thought the picture was more role-reversal ... AKA Arf as Fate and vice-versa. Since Fate has Arf's very large bust-size, body proportions, and clothing.

Signum seems completely transfixed on the necklace and I agree that it looks like somebody just knifed Hayate in the spine.

As for the arf/fate one, it's role reversal. That pic pre-dates any StrikerS news. Although according to the StrikerS datasheet Fate does have the 3rd largest chest of all the girls in the series.

In game design class there was a quick section on making magic look impressive and magic glyphs and circles and such came into play. I was interresting how much of it is a "you've either got it or you don't" situation.

Yeah, the game Triangle Hearts originated Magical Lyrical Nanoha the game, who then turned into Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha the anime.

Nanoha didn't have much of a role in Triangle Hearts OVA.

Meh! Yuuno-kyun may be boring & not as much reliable as Chrono when it comes to combat but he's cuter IMO. If it wasn't for Yuuno-kyun, Fate would've died in the 1st season. :uhoh: It was Yuuno-kyun who told Nanoha to go & transfer her to where Fate is & save her. :cool: Bleh! The writers are not being fair to Yuuno-kyun. :frustrated:

Yuuno kinda falls into the Sakura/Hinata syndrome -- they show some promise, but aren't really developed, and just kinda tag along as a 3rd leg.

And now with Yuuno relegated to the role of Head Librarian for the Infinite Library, I don't really see him with much combat screentime in StrikerS. Not with Fate, Nanoha, and Hatase Co. all with major screentime it seems.

Yunno seems like he could have been Nanoha's "Tank" with a bit more practice at the Defense and Chain magics.

You need to have read the guy's earlier installments in order to understand the undergoing plot in these komas. He includes a lot of cross-over to other series.

In a nutshell:

Yuuno wanted to confess to Nanoha, but Fate got to her before he could. Dejected, Yuuno wished he were a girl instead. Yuuno actually got his wish thanks to the gendebending aliens from Kashimashi. Yuuno seeks Chrono for help, who in turn seeks his mom, Lindy for help.

At first after hearing Chrono say "I want to talk to you about Yuuno", she thought her son was gay and was wondering what dress to buy for Chrono. (Lindy's a closet shota-con. ) Even after finding out the truth, she still insists on having Chrono wear drag by blackmailing him using her position as Chrono's superior.

After having to go through the torment of dressing up as a girl, Chrono decided he couldn't take it any longer and managed to get himself one of those curse dolls from Jigoku Shoujo. He tried to pull the ribbon, but Enma Ai came and tells him she only accepts curses written in Japanese, as she couldn't read any foreign language. Chrono decides to give up, at which time he encounters a Death Note......

Nanoha never casts Starlight Breaker with cartridges. Neither does Plasma Zamber use any. The whole point is that they're collection spells, and work around the limits of the casters' throughput by using external sources of energy. Cartridges would at best speed up the casting time slightly.

I think the Wikipedia entry is full of it (so I guess I think that the DVD booklets are full of it). SB EX isn't anything Nanoha ever uses. They also list Barrel Shot as a bind...

I'd think a more direct format would be better because, once you save it as a highly compressed format (even 100% .jpgs are pretty compressed) all your hard vector work gets dropped down a few notches. I bet your original looks even better than what we see here. Or maybe at least for those of us who run at higher resolutions.

My original is twice this image (somewhere in the 5000's width) so it's really big.
Other than that, it would be far to big for something like imageshack. (around 3mb+)

Yeah, .PNG if a good idea. It's usually smaller than .gif. .PSD is of course the best but it's not very portable. They tend to be pretty huge:)

Still tho, excellent effort. I'd contribute fanart but all I'm able to do is trace a pose from one pic and alter it into the character I want, so it ends up looking pretty terrible.

No, it's a vector trace and edit of Arisa in the first episode. She's originally holding a riceball, but the artist changed it to a melon pan as a little pun about the voice actress.

Assuming it's not just some elaborate fanmade poster, it looks to be some type of compilation info book covering the first 2 series (2001-2007 part) and some info about StrikerS. 735yen list price seems very cheap for something like that though ... I thought usually the speciality books were at least $15-20.

Awesome wallpapers there solwyvern, those mad vectoring skills are sure gonna get you somewhere, they're beautiful! XD

A few suggestions though, I would look much better if you brightened those energy blades a little, as they are they look more like glass. And IMHO you should make the Zanber blade longer, maybe up to the edge of the image, since it's short length makes the Zanber disproportional. Minor gripes though for impressive walls ^^
