Er...who? The only one I know who uses storage device is Chrono...

Actually, that's her Armed Device. :heh: Her Storage Device is the Tome of the Night Sky replica; and for completeness sake, Reinforce-Zwei is her Unison Device.
Technically speaking, Hayate has four Devices since R-Zwei comes with her own Storage Device, the Tome of the Azure Sky.
The only Device-types that Hayate is lacking are the Intelligent Device and the Boost Device.
One of the advantages of using Storage Devices is that they are supposedly better at processing magic than Intelligent Devices (since you know, they don't need to waste space on having a sentient AI).

She probably doesn't need it. She can simply cast that nuking spell for long range and when in close range? Put a strong shield around herself and nuke the area around herself.

Finally found some time to wrap up my vector trace of Reinforce I.

Trace done in Illustrator, then exported to PSD and taken into Photoshop for final touchups (blurring, dodge, burn etc). Would have had this finished earlier today, but Illustrator started doing weird things when I was adding the final parts (the studs on Rein's armbands) to the final trace. Program kept freezing, or took up to 15mins or more to save minor changes. Finally got the vectors complete, and finished off image processing.
PNG format, pretty big resolution, about 590kb

Now to find something else to do. -_-;;

Anyone got any decent pictures of Fate in her Impulse Form barrier jacket? Need some material for colours for a new trace. Only requirement is that the picture is sharp, with crisp colours accurate to the official design. Thanks in advance. The first one is probably the best for getting the general colour scheme, but the image has a few artifacts which make it hard to get accurate spot colours. The others will be okay for getting more accurate colour selections even though they vary slightly with regards to colour, but that's nothing a tweak to saturation and hue can't fix.
I'd love to know if there's a crisper, higher res version of the first pic. I've not found it yet if there is. (And my Fate folder is nearing 900+ at the moment...)

You know, being all magical and all that, shouldn't the girls have the ability to tap mana to gain +0/1 or +1/+0 to boost defense? If you have extra mana around, they should be allowed to do it. :P
Hell, if you're going to make cards like that, people should make the whole set. Equipment cards for RH and Bardiche and the gang... Starlight Breaker and Phalanx Shift as instant, direct damage cards... Sonic Form and Exceed Mode enchantment cards...

Nanoha-themed magic cards, huh? There's not enough material to make a set, but it's certainly possible to make a large number of cards.
As for the cards already posted, Nanoha herself is a Timmy-type card that'll see minimal use in tournament play. Fate on the other hand is much more Spike and with its brutal efficiency will see tournament play everywhere, until it gets hated and then it might be out depending on the card pool at the time.

Ah! I wasn't counting the first one since it's on a white BG... that and I was thinking you were looking for cleaner shots of her jacket. Can't say I have a higher res version - I think mine is about the same, but with the Dengeki logo on the bottom (which is across the shoe). I've seen the second one before, but for some reason I don't remember saving it.
I like the fourth one the most. The sixth one I think I like because of the scythe and something about her positioning... plus it's more like a smirk than a happy little smile. Some of the official art puts me off though - the eyes seem too big for their age increase and their faces are longer, like in the figurines.
Last picture - body, general jacket (not detailed) OK, but something about the eyes just doesn't draw me to this picture.

The first page was flipped because to scan them I have to turn my doujin around and scan, then flip it over for teh next page. So one page is normally right (or backwards) and the second page is always upside down and backwards. Depending on how fast and carelessly I'm scanning. So you have anymore pics of Nanoha like that one? Her hair is super special awesome!

Ah! I wasn't counting the first one since it's on a white BG... that and I was thinking you were looking for cleaner shots of her jacket. Can't say I have a higher res version - I think mine is about the same, but with the Dengeki logo on the bottom (which is across the shoe). I've seen the second one before, but for some reason I don't remember saving it.
I like the fourth one the most. The sixth one I think I like because of the scythe and something about her positioning... plus it's more like a smirk than a happy little smile. Some of the official art puts me off though - the eyes seem too big for their age increase and their faces are longer, like in the figurines.
Last picture - body, general jacket (not detailed) OK, but something about the eyes just doesn't draw me to this picture.

Well I was looking for good quality pics of her in her Impulse Form so I could get some swatches ready for a new trace. Using the eight I posted I have managed to at least grab relatively correct colours from them. Thanks for looking around for some, anyway.

Yeah, I've seen those ones. The colours are a little too muted, however, and solwyvern's trace of Fate has different colours to what's seen in the official art.

You can also try over at Masterbloodfer for some Nanoha-H doujins they have newer ones uploaded there. Though the downer is that they are only up for 4 days before they are taken down for the next batch.

Well, since there were too many hints in 1st and 2nd seasons for FateXChrono pairings, it is just natural ppl think this way. Especially most fanart we have seen so far were drawn before third season or even StrikerS manga. And they are siblings only in name. I don't think there are any problem either in law or in morality. Truth to tell, I felt being betrayed when I found out Chrono got married. They at least could leave it as an open story, right? Fate is still in teen and Chrono is just in his mid 20s. No need to end the possibility in such a hurry.

The ones that I liked the most was the one with the long-range cannon and the "deep diver" :)
