I draw the line at getting any type of bedding or towels of anime girls. That crap is obviously meant for dry-humping by pedos I'm sorry 0_o;;Sensationalism++! Interesting how some say something very similar about Nanoha itself, and I'm sure you'd dismiss it as being ignorant and narrow-minded. And yet the show's target demographic is males in their 20s...

For what it's worth, most people who collect any sort of anime merchandise probably leave it in the box/packaging or might put it on display. I don't set out to buy bedsheets myself either, but it doesn't make any sense to apply a double-standard there. Otherwise, you enter the wonderful mire of assumptions, stereotyping, rationalization, and hypocrisy. Most collectors aren't deranged sexual deviants -- shocking though that may be...

About the dryhumping bedsheets and pillows - Well, I never intended the Nanoha bedsheet to be used on my bed. a gigantic wallscroll however, that's a much better idea:)

No panties under your Yukata - I can't post it here but fanartist 40010 Prototype has a comic where Nanoha "corrects" Fate's wearing of panties with her Yukata that I thought was pretty funny just due to the expressions involved.

On another note, why did Nanoha's Barrier Jacket's jacket break into a lotta little pink bits whereas Fate seems able to have cuts in her's without it breaking.

Signam too, but I figure their "armor" is different....

I'd speculate that it's a reactive defense- the blow was strong enough to kill her through her jacket, so the jacket self-destructed to protect her. There's probably a lot of energy bound up in those things.

Several official PVC models have the clothing as a seperate layer of flexible plastic that can be put on or removed. It's not marked on the box too so the first time I got one with that... undocumented feature I was suprised. Usually it's just the skirt but some do go right down to nothing.

I really wonder who did imagine her barrier jacket, in the MSLN fun comic, Fate said it was Arf, while having a nosebleed and panting...of course, that was just for the comic.

That's why I asked him about it, actually.
I have a figure of Koyori from Sengoku Blade that is stripable, Primula from Shuffle who looses her skirt, Shana from SnS looses her skirt, Louise from ZnT loosers her skirt, Yurie looses her extra clothes, skirt and shirt...

And those are just the ones I found out about by ACCIDENT! And I voided buying figures that looked like they were possibly perverted. So I'd say that in post 2004 figures, it's more common than not for the figure to be able to shed some article of clothing.

Incidentally, I do realize of course that some figures have removable clothing (I discovered the same accidentally/inadvertantly myself as well :heh:), but the point earlier was made in light of/aware of that possibility. For the record, I checked; those clothes do not come off. So rest assured that the figure is safe from excess perversion. :heh:

I actually forgo Alter's Fate for MaxFactory's Kokonoe Rin (http://akibahobby.net/2006/12/rin.html) for it's.....diversity. Would have gotten both had I not blown my expenditure due to Christmas season.

The foxgirl isn't exactly a prototype Yuuno, although Yuuno might have evolved from her. She's a kitsune named Kuon. She lives at the shrine with Kanzaki Nami, whose family has been guarding her since she was sealed into fox form for... I'm not really sure, I think she went crazy and killed a lot of people after her human lover was killed... but it's been a hundred years since she was sealed, anyway. Nami is supposed to become strong enough to kill her or turn her good... basically, Kuon goes good, is Nami's pet and Nanoha's buddy, has lightning powers, and eventually turns vengeful ghost-girl Alisa Lowell (whom we know better as Alisa Bannings) good. Then Alisa goes to heaven and all that's great. But we were talking about Kuon here, weren't we?

Something along those lines ... romanizing foreign last names is tough, and the Japanese often don't even use normal spellings so you guess is as good as mine probably hehe.

I'm gonna have to vote no. It does indeed look like her but the context of the picture is off and those odd wallpapers tend to use characters who aren't reasily identifiable. The Touhou fanbase runs into this all the time with a few of their characters.

She's pretty stacked, riding a bike and only has one hairband whereas all the posters I look around me and see of Hayate she has two.

Actually, that's a combination of Negima!, Shana and Nanoha. We'd wind up with Shinmeiryu-Nitou Moriyama Shakugan no Arisa.
