New weapons-wise, I am the most interested in Subaru's, but when it comes to new characters, Carol is the one that captures my attention. Obnoxiously cute, has an unique power( the only summoner in the whole group, and only the second one to be shown in the series( the first one being depicted in the manga, fighting with Signum( who was collecting for the Book of Darkness at that time))).

It doesn't help that the two share the same seiyuu too. It seems like the soul of the Chrono (@Takahasi Mikako) we have seen in the last two seasons have been summoned away and placed into a new loli body, while Sugita took over the body of Chrono. Given Sugita's record in other anime, I wouldn't be surprised if Carol beat him up everytime while meeting him, but finally the two start to have a romantic relationship :heh: .

FYI, Sugita who will be taking over Chrono is Kyon in Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu and Yuuichi in Kanon. And no, he has never returned a fist on lolis who attack him from any direction. Sometimes a back-kick or a head-butt is already good enough for loli-initiated attacks. :D

But seriously, I don't think there will be much interaction between the two. Carol may meet Nanoha and Fate easily like meeting a teacher in homeroom, but for Chrono, he is already the commander of the whole ship with a rank much higher than Hayate, let alone anyone else. You woudn't expect him to have time to spend on new-comers on an everyday basis. Even if he does so, it will be totally suspicious, won't it? Think about a headmaster in a grade school that calls a 10 yo girl to his office everyday...:rolleyes:

That's....debatable. It's very close in the veins of Naruto/Sasuke or Tezuka/Fuji or Maria/Kanna or Kira/Athrun or Soushi/Kazuki or Erstin/Nina. There's huge fanbase for all of these, the creators acknowledge them by giving them...akward interactions and also by the slew of official art with both characters and if you read between the lines generally in the show they're involved, you can tell that the implications...overshadow the more directly implied romances in a way. But likewise, the general trend for such pairings are also such that they remain highly popular and implicative, especially interaction-wise and promotional pictures-wise, but they never materialize in the way the rabid fans want it to be. Not saying that it never happened, but the more popular approach to such...popular non-canon pairings are to stick to the formula and appeal to everyone by giving everyone a little of here and there, but not to please any particular group. It's like ShiNatz where everybody just wants them to stop with the teases and just do it already, but rather than bombing us with it, they just tease us while we cry for more.

I believe Vexx is correct about the historical/conceptual source of these images. At the very least, he's on the right track. Megami posters fall squarely in the tradition of pin-up or "good girl" art -- often complete with requisite cheesecake: lingerie, partial nudity, cleavage and leg shots, etc. (Playboy would ramp things up a few notches in the late Fifties by introducing the nude into relatively mainstream pop culture.) It makes sense. Megami posters are pin-ups.

Megami may be having some ironic fun with these images. They look like centerfolds, and the poses are reminiscent of centerfolds, but the girls are fully dressed. Both images are fairly leggy, but they still contrast with the Playboy centerfold (not to mention a lot of the Nanoha pillow art that's been floating around lately).

As much as I would love to see that; Hazuki is going to be tough for Nanoha to overcome.:( Onto a better note; if fate win's vs Yuki's popularity, then shes got an easy ride to the final's. Let's just hope Fate-chan slaughter's Yuki, then there will be no doubt in our minds, that she will reign supreme!

Um is that Arisa and Suzuka? Or Fate and Nanoha? It appears that in doujins and manga Fate and Arisa may cause some identity confusion. Speaking of Arisa, does anyone have pics of Arisa in "Lyrical Toy Box"?? Last I checked Arisa Bannings and Arisa Lowell seem to have different personalities, at least that is what wikipedia said. Maybe it just the name that is the same? Or looks too?? Maybe Arisa Lowell from Lyrical Toy Box is more of a reference to Fate than Arisa from Nanoha Anime?? Just a guess though. Oh btw can someone also redirect me to the thread where folks are talking about identity issues between Fate and Arisa?
