Absolutely Fate.
The artist said the reason why Fate papa smiled is that there should have been a Nanoha mama squating and helping Vivio put on her safty helmet.

Offhand School of Lyrical was semi-based on KnM. At least in that Nanoha would be the "Himeko" and Fate was "Chikane". Only in that in SoL Fate's love of Nanoha is pointed out and obvious where as Nanoha is ambiguous :heh:

I hate it when people try to make badass characters moe all the time. Let them do what they were meant to do. Evangeline suffers terribly from that sort of thing and it annoys me to no end so I'm happy Vita and Nanoha tend to get more respect.

Happy New YearI think the cases where you should actually translate よろしくお願いします as "please take care of me" are very few, despite what some textbooks might say. In this case it's basically a wordy greeting that adds little to the meaning of the rest of the caption. If you want to translate it, I think something like "My best wishes for the year ahead" would be appropriate.

You have to bear in mind that the Japanese use different fonts just as we do. This little fact and さ used to cause me zounds of trouble when I first started out learning hiragana.
Yeah, I think that confuses anyone learning Japanese at first. I don't think anything is as confusing as seeing some of my Japanese mate's grandmother's letter writing skills....

But speaking of bears, the reason why I freak at kanji is when I asked for help reading something and my mate that helped got 熊 and 態 confused a while back. He's been in orz mode ever since. >w>;

Contrary to my response, I am very much for Chrono and Amy; apologies to my Dark Sensei. :D

Part of the delight comes from because it was a surprise, which I later then learned that the hints were all over the place. Another part comes from the fact that its only been 4 years since A's epilogue, and they already have a pair of 4 year old kids.

I've got another picture featuring these 5, and it clearly shows Arisa with a shield and a morningstar-revolver combi-weapon. In effect:

Arisa: Warrior Tank
Suzuka: Priest healer
Nanoha: Ranged DPS
Fate: Melee DPS
Hayate: AOE DPS

Fate and Nanoha can CC with their binds. Now I'd love to have this group in my raid... If I can keep up with their insane aggro generation... Maybe that's why Arisa is there. :p

Neither does she look like a Warrior. :p But Arisa's Device ends in a gun, and considering its a long weapon she holds, the only way she could use that gun is as a finishing move. Or rather, an execution. Not to mention Arisa throws around accusations a lot, which is something typical of Witch Hunters: Throwing down accusations before finishing it off with an execution. :D

Yes, CG R2 was this seasons best anime, Macross is being stored stored for long winter nights. MSLN movie - i have mixed feelings - I'm looking forward for it but at the same time I'm afraid that there could be something I really don't want to see.

Yah I too have a few things I'm uncertain about the movie but still I'm happy they are making a movie. At least they are "trying" the same idea they did for MSLN since it was based from Triangle Hearts :heh:. Well with Gundam 00 coming up we got 25 episodes (therefore 25 weeks) to get us through the winter onto summer. Well in my opinion this year has been great and one of the best years. Ahh the good old days with Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw star (both from Sunrise).

How should we re-phrase it so it doesn't sound so.... literal? Or at least make it not sound so awkward without having to type out a paragraph.

The weird thing is she's talking to the book, but just expressing her feelings. The translation makes it sound like she's making a request to the book.

Or something. I don't think most people would notice/care/take it too seriously, but eh.
