Many female seiyuu play the yuri game and it doesn't help that I took what I previously said about that particular Itazura Kuro Usagi episode completely out of context. Mizuki Nana is actually one of the handful that doesn't really participate in the whole yuri thing, at least compared to the likes of Nabatame Hitomi, Itou Shizuka and Kitamura Eri.- About that episode, some listeners mailed in something about how fujoshi would rather have their favourite male character "get it on with another male character than get close to a girl".
- Yukarin said she understood and tried to explain her reasoning using some Johnny reference, which was totally lost on me, so she said something else to make it easier to understand for those of us who didn't know about the j-boyband: "Rather than dating (male staff member) Mishima-san, (it is preferred that) I get married to (Mizuki) Nana-chan."The two do seem to be good friends though. On Mizuki Nana's Smile Gang radio show, her regular co-hostess, Fukuen Misato, called in sick the day before and Tamura Yukari was called in (http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm4215251). A few lol things were said, like Yukarin being invited to Nana-sama's fanclub and you're just going to take these all out of context, nevermind. :<

The more interesting points for me here are Shari's Device Meister classification. She's apparently Master-class by StrikerS time, which is quite a feat.:D
Shamal gets a Synthetic AA+ AND a Medical Master C-III (in which I don't know what the 'C-III' really signifies), and Zafira doesn't have a Wizard Rank but is apparently ranked AAA according to his skills as an Area Defender.

Oh, and yes. Reinforce is actually listed as Vita's device as well (and I presume Signum's too)!:twitch: Seems like Rein did get around a bit before StrikerS.:D

Keep working on it. Fortunately, I do have a character artist at the moment (though I always keep my eyes open for more talent). Though I am currently much troubled by the absence of a background artist on my team (as you can tell from my signature).

But picture of the year? It's not really that epic. I'd rather wait until the year's over until I decide what's epic and what's not. I can see the reasons why you would consider it to be pic of the year, but I'm definitely not going to go there. :uhoh:

Well, I for one has a female cousin who's already 25. And trust me, she still looks really young. Heck, I (19) look older than her!:heh:

I'd attribute the Oba-san jokes regarding Nanoha to the common practice of the majority of many anime, which is starring either kids to teen main characters and rarely ever starring those who are in their mid-twenty's beyond since, "The effectiveness of a cast member is often determined by his/her distance from the median age of the cast.". Heck, I'd even go as far to say that leaving teen years is taboo for some shows... ^^;;

Heck, we even have the 'Adults are Useless' (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AdultsAreUseless) trope as an extreme case!

But that's exactly what I'm loving with the Season 4 news. Here's something to rub in the faces of people who cling onto the belief that anything beyond teen years is 'old.' :D Here we have Nanoha, who's 25 (definitely an adult), who's even more beautiful (and still quite cute >:3) and STILL kicks ass!:D

You kidding? °-°'' That's not what I call failed, that's even pretty good! I mean the hair are well done, hands look like real one (I have some friends who are really skill and still fail to draw this part properly >.>) and the whole pic is consistent : that's Fate, no mistake here.
Ok, it still a bit rough and you need tu put more shadows here and there, but since you're only 14, you have plenty of time to improve ^-^.

Now, I will wait to see your progress Agodestint :hyper-^v^:

It's not a failed drawing at all. Sure, there could be some improvements here and there, but so far this drawing is quite good for someone who probably only started drawing recently.

Of course, there are always points where you could improve. The fingers on her left hand are... awkwardly long. You should try to hold your own hand in a similar pose to get an idea of what to draw. Also, the lineart is quite angular. I'm not familiar with Jasc, but what kind of tools did you use to trace the outlines?

In other news, I never realized how easy it is to turn Fried from 'cute little dragon pet' to 'awesome dragon guardian.' Not untill DK showed me.

I agree with the others.
The picture is definitly not fail.

Keroko pointed out the weird fingers already and you should try and make the outlines a little less angular.

Don't let yourself bother too much with smaller errors, they can happen. Take your time and improve little by litte. :)

I would definitely go with 15 March. In my view, every bit of existing information from the original games is canon until contradicted by new MGLN canon.

Are you kidding? This is pretty darn good for the work of a 14 year-old! Sure, it's a little rough, and there's her fingers looking a little long there, but hey, hands are of the hardest bodyparts to draw correctly. Keep at it – I can't wait to see the stuff you'll be drawing in a few years.
