Anime themed games?

Will there ever be a section dedicated to anime themed games? For example like Dojin games or console games based off of animes.

Do I want one? Definately. The likeliness of ever getting one? Next to nill. Major point being that 99.998% of these games are in japanese with virtually no chance of ever getting translated. We're here at a messageboard dedicated to fansubbed anime, meaning that most of us can't speak japanese and have any chance what so ever of playing any of these games.

There ARE messageboards for the discussion of games like this, you may want to look around for some of them. I've been to a few in the past but don't follow any of them anymore (if you find anything thats good though, post it here ^_^).

oni is an anime-style game.

Many people don't like it though, but imo it's a very good game... so why don't you try that one... it should be in the budget department by now :heh:

Not much interest on this side since it's rarely explored.
Recently i've been dling lots of doujin games. Started with a couple of azu games now I dled this nozomu eien smash tv kinda like game.

Kinda fun game, it's like the matrix when your FPS drops madly after 3000 sprites tries to kill you.

There is an anime game of Full Metal Alchemist. Though i dont know if it is released yet in U.S. Doubt it though

Doddler, most of these Doujin-soft games do not require you to any Japanese and are for the most part pretty self explanitory since many of them are Action, Fighter, Shooter type games.

Isnt Oni that game with that ugly-ass anime-esque chick with purple hair? yeah, I tried that game sometime ago on PC.

Oteck, I personally cant wait for the Melty Blood Plus Disk.... wanting to play Ren and Sacchin sooo sooo badly!!! DId you buy Kanon Air Smash?? if not then where did you download it? I'll play anything with Ayu Tsukimiya in it.

Disgaea is an anime game. Dont know what its like yet, i know its an adventure, im getting it for xmas, both 1 and 2 so can tell you what is like then :)

its also coming out for the PSP in 4 days time :)

i hope its good.. it looks it and the reviews on play.com are all good

EDIT: ok got 1 and 2 now .. playing 1 atm and its brillaint.. not much in terms of graphics as its old style Final fantasy like, and 2 is just the same but more in it :D
