This poll is a multiple choice poll and while we won’t restrict you from voting for every character, please try to limit your choice to your top 3 or 4 picks if you can. If you like the entire cast equally, then so be it ... vote for them all, but if you can narrow it down a bit, then that’s even better. If you like one character the most, then don’t feel the need to vote for anymore.

I've votes the following characters because:
Suigintou - is more interested like character in the last 2 series. More sadic in combat period... The bad girl always and for life! therefore, its personality and its physical meaning makes their roles in the anime/manga. Very interesting!
Suiseiseki - I have see that char with a costantly attention.. i will say some things about their featuring of herself is more than commons... she haves 2 sides like to makes dispect against hina-ichigo or another side like to show its fellings well to Souseiseki and their partnership/parentship (i don't know how to written that words, hope it is understandable)... in fact when souseiseki deads, cried a lot. is shy, and much more! adding: little pervert :P
Shinku - a well character afterall... a good aristocrat girl with a good fellings to Jun. Shes serious always, of course, but in few events, can makes hot smile and can explain something about itself. I have said few and insufficent things about main character, but i tried to wrote that in english (im poor... sorry again ç_ç). Hopes it is useful for others!

Megu, Sou-chan and Kanaria. I have acquired some odd taste lately. I blame the fact that I bought the wrong flavor of coffee than I've been drinking for the past 18 months.

Gin, Shinku, Megu. I'm ordinarily the type to prefer a secondary character, but in RM I feel that the connection of the two most active dolls to the Alice Game is what makes the show tick. Megu gets honors for her development with Gin in Traumend...

Surely it is Suigintou hime-sama and her medium Megu-san. I also voted Laplace because I admired his scheming nature.
I voted for: Shinku and Suisei. I really liked them especially when they were making the cookies ^__^ lol Shinku's Kun Kun cookies looked like a pig. xD

Suigintou it's more interested, i think too much mysterious girlie... it's harder to understand their thought. Within this factor, there are too many reason for their understanding meaning.

That aside, I went for Shinku and Hina :) I've been thinking of the reasons why I like these two above all others and I really can't come up with a logical list. Mostly I can say that I like x character because of attributes a, b and c. But in the case of the maidens, I just like them and I just like Shinku and Hina a little more then the rest.
Oh I have to say that Hina is the most fun :)
I voted for Shinku. I do like all the rest of the dolls, but Shinku will always be my favorite.
The reason I like Shinku best?
I would have to say that it is Shinku is very much calm and collected. (except when it comes to Kun Kun) But she also has a very kind and unsure personality that she only shows to people that she is very close to.

I voted for Sugintou, probably because of her pesonalitie(s). I like her inner-self, where she cares about others but doesnt show it. Although her appearance might disturb others and might even offend them, I dont think Sujintou has those intentions. I think there is a cause which causes her to act differently.
If there is a season 3 (high hopes), I would like to see this character develop further into the good side where she can show that she indeed cares about her other sisters. example: Sujintou protected Shinku at end of Season 2 =).

I vote for Suigintou, Suiseiseki, Souseiseki, Shinku n Tomoe.
Why? Simple, i like them. ^^
Suigintou.... her personality is quite layered, and so it is interesting to watch her reactions with people, be it with the Rozen Maidens or human beings.
Kanaria...just because she's fricking powerful in Rozen MUGEN. Plus, she's funny too, as much as Nano can get.
Souseiseki (or Boku. It's as bad as Desu.) partially because her gender-confused identity I can identify with, and because of her undying loyalty that makes me like her and hate her.
Kirakishou and Barusuishou, because I entertain the idea of SuigintouxKirakishou or Barusuishou. :D Plus, 'psycho' girls appeal to me

The eyes seems to suggest cunning. The smile glows with confidence. The way the picture was drawn shows haughtiness, pride. I think the picture captures the essence of Suigintou hime-sama very well.
And it was these three qualities that drew me to her. And the more I see from Suigintou hime-sama in Rozen Maiden, the more attractive she becomes.

Hehee. my favorite is Canaria, followed closely by Hina Ichigo. Then Shinku very closely in third, then Suseiseke. I love all the dolls, so it's hard to have a favorite. Even if I think Souseiseke is a bit bland, and Bara is just plain evil.
But I love Kanaria! I have a Kanaria figgy on my room, and I love her to bits. Now I want Hina and SHinku to join her and Suseiseke.
^ Ahhh~ a Kanaria fan. Good :D My favourite doll originally was Shinku. But after watching Traumend, I decided to add Suigintou & Kanaria to my list along with Tomoe. :)
Some people might say that Shinku is boring & arrogant. But I don't think so. :rolleyes: She's quite a complex character IMO. She can make me laugh sometimes.
Suigintou leading the poll at the moment is no surprise to me. :) Since everybody is free to choose more than one, most people will eventually pick her. I love Suigintou's strength. She can take on the others without a medium. :p huhuhu~
Kanaria? Eh...well. How do I describe her? :uhoh: Not much I can think of. I guess its her elegance that make me attracted to her. ;) kashira~

I can see why some might find her boring, but to be honest I love her aristocratic nature, and she is easily one of the more complex dolls (I find Kana and Sueseiseki are two more of the dolls). But to be honest, I don't think you can accuse any of the dolls of being completely shallow or one dimensional. They all have nice development, and their own quirks and motives.
And Kana is love. I hope to see more of her in the third season, because she has got some of the least screentime out of the dolls.
I don't really like Kana because she appears too full of herself! :p But thats just the way she was meant to be I guess. :)

Yeah..........I keep thinking they should have made her a boy, because she's make a really cute boy. and her top hat is really cool. I am going to lend my friend the one I made with my mom when she cosplays as Soseiseke.
I just think Soseiseke wasn't given enough cute or unique quirks, to seperate her from the other dolls........and plus I find her battle power to be the least interesting......Sogintou has her razor feathers and wings, Shinku has the killer rosepetals, Bara skewers people with amythist crystals, Hina has her strawberry vines, Kana has her violin and Sueseiseki has her beanstalks...........and all Soseiseki does is wave her scissors around.........

My favorite by far has to be Shinku. :D Especially her Kunkun and embarrassment reactions are heart-melting :love:
Hinaichigo and Kanaria are on the same level, they're cuteness factor to the max. Although what really sold me to Kana was her battle with Suishou.
And Tomoe, well, I like her :p
I'd have added Suigintou and maybe Sui but I thought I have to draw the line somewhere :p

Gin-sama. No contest, flawless victory, etc. I started watching the series because of her XD Not only does she have the laugh, the looks, the badass personality and even a creepy lesbian medium, but she also has all the best fan art. Yup, Suigintou has got it all :p

Knowing Suigintou hime-sama, she would most probably operate on her own to further any goals she had, whatever they are. However, there is a possibility she would want to snatch Roza Mystica to heal Megu, if Rozen didn't point out the error of her ways. If not, she would probably be trying to protect Megu from Kirakishou when she appears.
Or she just does nothing but accompany Megu and try to change her mindset.

After all the cast has shrunk considerably from five dolls to three main protagnists. And while Soseiseki was pretty quiet she was still there, and Hina Ichigo had a huge personality. I wonder how they will do it........or perhaps because there are less dolls now, perhaps Kana, Suseiseki and Shinku are going to form much greater bonds? They have gone through a lot together. Unless Gin buries the black feather hatchet to become one of the gang.

Megu seems more "psycho" in the manga... maybe an impression but she is not as gentle as she is in the anime.

Yeah thats true. from what read about her manga wise she's a little spoiled smacked assed brat that gets ticked off when Gin's not around XD I like both versions of her though. They shouldve done a little bit of that in the anime!
I just found her personality almost non existant.
For me I found her to have a personality; one can look at the way she shadows Jun loyally, or the way she loves Hina to death, even that quietness of hers is a personality.

I both hate and love Laplace. I love the little tuxedo-bowing-servant attitude of his, but I hate how he sets the dolls against each other and abandons his prior alliances. Example: How he acted like Enju and Bara were his picks in the battles, but then he let Bara die, said he was done with this and just poofed outta there

I thoguht it might be a side power, but Im just thinking about Kira's title (snow drop beautiful crystal), and I have seen the big figgy of her leaning against a giant pink crystal. It would be a bit strange if she had to run around in battle trying to kiss her enemies!

Thats a good point. Actually I'd like to see Ass-hat Wabbit having a true loyalty to Kirakishou. I feel it'll somehow give more depth, more solidity, to his character - showing us a different side of Wabbit ("gasp he can love!") - plus the potential for an interesting back-story in regard to his intentions in helping Kirakishou.
Still, he deserves death for taking Hina's RM.

I wouldn't exactly say that Laplace 'convinced' Enju into making Bara Suishou for the sole purpose of gathering all the Rosa Mysticae into herself..
Enju himself had the desire to overthrow (,sort of speak) Rozen, as a Maestro... surpassing his once master in terms of acomplishments within the same field..; this beeing.. achieving a creation that would be superior to those of Rozen.
The result of this (in Enju's eyes) was Bara Suishou.., however it just didn't feel like it was enough... Despite the fact that any of the Rozen Maiden could one day become Alice, each had something that Bara Suishou did not (or we assume that she didn't); a Rosa Mystica.
..And Enju knew this, but even still he was determined to prove that his creation was far superior to those created by Rozen..., hence he instigated Bara to engage in the Alice Game for the sole purpose of gathering each Rosa Mysticae that existed...; thus not only rendering Rozen's creations as defeated and now obselete.., but also showing as how Bara was superior in every way to that she alone could hopefully even become Alice.
The entire point behind Enju's intentions was purely to prove that Bara was superior to all of Rozen's creations, by overcoming these, surpassing them and at least defeat them. Obtaining each's Rosa Mystica as a throphy more then rather hopeing that the chance of once she obtained all, she could reach Alice.
And Bara whom blindly loved her Father, would, and did not as we saw.. stop at any obstacle to achieve her Father's desire...; in fact we can clearly say that Bara's only reason & prespective was that of Enju's... for the love she had to him, she wanted to be what he desired her to be at any cost.
..which ended up beeing the reason why she did not release the Rosa Mysticae when Enju asked her, as he noticed she could no longer contain them..., even though.. it would end up destroying her.
Now.. all of this because.. Enju himself was not of pure heart, it is possible that at times he once was, however at that point in time the choice to having followed this path was mainly his own; his own desire to surpass his master drove him to the actions that we saw take place.
It is possible that somewhere arround the lines in times past Laplace might had "some" sort of influence on Enju, more like instigating that 'feel' of that he could be one day better then Rozen..., but at that moment Laplace was mearly a spectator, pulling the strings whenever it was necessary to drive the events into following a certain path (that he desired).
However what we can say is that he toke advantage of the situation; situation this beeing Enju's own desire to surpass Rozen.. and then as a puppeteer, always behind the curtains, orchestrated it according to his own personal agenda & goals.
For Laplace, like he himself said... all the events that unfoled in ~Traumend~ where nothing but a 'stage play', that later came to a conclusion...; and if we are to look on this from his prespective we can conclude in those exact same words that that was what it was all about..
There seem to be inumerous possibilities as to how Laplace can actualy manipulate the chess pawns to follow his own desired path, in this particular case he simply saw that Enju's situation could prove itself to be rather amusing.., and that in the end, one way or the other he could take his own profit... apart from the amusement itself of course.
Judging Laplace's caracter.., he clearly would not have it any other way that would not involve bringing some form of (to us) twisted amusement based on the tragedy of all those involved.
His loyalty to Kira now.. unfortunatly is a subject that we cannot state many afirmations..
..clearly as I stated previously we can come to a certain conclusion regarding his role in ~Traumend~, and the reasons that lead him to take on such... however when it comes to the choice of handing Sousei Seki's and Hina's Rosa Mystica over to Kira in the end.. all we can do is speculate if Kira is in fact the one that holds the reason as why Laplace did what he did, or if in fact Kira is just one more pawn that Laplace will use in a now 'new stage play' that is about to unfold.
Clearly either way Laplace is not without having his amusement, the question now lies in if Kira is actualy the main goal behind his actions, or if she is just another puppet.
Aspects that 1 year from now I hope Season 3 will answer us :) , however now in ~Ouverture~ we will see if Laplace had or not any influence in instigating the shift that happened between Gin & Shinku.
The entire point behind Enju's intentions was purely to prove that Bara was superior to all of Rozen's creations, by overcoming these, surpassing them and at least defeat them. Obtaining each's Rosa Mystica as a throphy more then rather hopeing that the chance of once she obtained all, she could reach Alice.
But notice that Enju at one point really did want Shinku to win. And also, he did not expect Bara to break up; meaning that he expected her to turn into his Alice. So I believe that just to add insult to injury, he desired not only to destroy the other creations of Rozen but also steal Rozen's Alice from him. I.e. he did want Alice to be realized too, that would be the cherry on the cake of revenge.
And Bara whom blindly loved her Father, would, and did not as we saw.. stop at any obstacle to achieve her Father's desire...; in fact we can clearly say that Bara's only reason & prespective was that of Enju's... for the love she had to him, she wanted to be what he desired her to be at any cost.
..which ended up beeing the reason why she did not release the Rosa Mysticae when Enju asked her, as he noticed she could no longer contain them..., even though.. it would end up destroying her.

Hmm, while I do agree with what you said, I think Laplace merely fanned the flames of Enju's hatred. While Enju is eaten up with envy of Rozen, I wouldn't be suprised if Laplace was the one he convinced him to create Barasuisho, or at the very least, use her to battle the Rozen Maidens. While the desire to surpass Rozen was there, im pretty sure Laplace was the one who gave him the idea of destroying the Rozen Maidens with Barasuisho. Enju's finest creation vs Rozen's (I think that was why he wanted Shinku destroyed, as she seems to be Rozen's masterpiece out of his materpieces)
In the same way Barasuisho and Sugintou manipulated Soseiseki into starting the Alice Game, taking advantage of her pure desire to make Father happy. While Soseiseki had the desire, she was tricked into attacking her sisters as a result, legitimately starting the Alice Game.
There is a lot of manipulation in Traummend..........
Bstd Bunny manipulates Enju, who manipulates Barasuisho, who manipulates Sugintou, who manipulates Soseiseki.
That's a lot of trickery.

Enju wanted Shinku to win at one point ? Enju doesn't exactly express his emotions in the best of ways.. so I can understand why you may think this..; however lets see if I can find words to explain as to why I belive this is rong..
Enju admires Shinku, he admires her as (very probably) Rozen's finest creation, also viewing her as that whom has the more potential in reaching Alice. His admiration comes essencialy from a creator's point of view, he views Shinku as having a more special beauty when in relation towards the other dolls, there is something in Shinku that makes her superior to all the other of Rozen's creations.
Hence now as a creator of a doll himself, doll this that is created to for the sole porpuse to surpass those of Rozen, including his finnest; he sees Shinku as the ultimate goal to overcome in the process..., he admires Shinku for he wants his doll to be like her, as beautiful as her, and then.. surpass her.
The reason as to why Enju shows the desire to see Shinku fight is because like I previously said, he recognizes her as a goal to reach, but this goal can only be surpassed if Shinku is in her entire potential..
..If Bara where to have defeated Shinku, with this showing no will to fight; in Enju's prespective Bara would have failed to prove herself as a superior creation to that of what he considers Rozen's finnest.
Thus his admiration towards his master's creation.., he desires for her to rise to her full potential, to become stronger and fight; so that when his creation defeats her, his creation will truly have surpassed that of his master's on its highest level.
Beeing because of this the reason as why he stopped Jun from interfearing.., for he was afraid his words would have some influence as to how Shinku might respond.., and if this was to mean that she would forfeit, that was not the outcome that he desired.
However we can clearly see a cringe on Enju's expression as when it seemed as if Shinku was about to defeat Bara in episode 13, probably the thoughts that went through his mind at the time where that maybe he should not have instigated Shinku into her full potential.., for he deep inside might have reconized that Bara would not be able to surpass her..
..which is why after that he clearly just became content with the fact that Bara came out victorious, seeing how close she came to lose, probably his prespectives on that matter immediatly changed, and now he was nothing more then extreamly happy that his creation had surpassed all of his master's, regardless of how that came to be.

I belive that every Rozen Maiden & Bara alike have the ability to "release" they're Rosa Mystica if they're desire is to do such..., often have we heard Gin mencione towards Shinku, Suisei Seki, etc. for them to " hand over " they're Rosa Mystica before they engage in combat.
So.., taking this in mind.., Bara could have probably released all the Rosa Mysticae that she had contained in herself, this to prevent her detriment from going beyond repair.
However, even though Enju noticed this and asked her to do such, Bara knew that if she where to release the Rosa Mysticae she would have failed in having become superior to Rozen's creations.., even though probably upon seeing his doll crumble into pieces, Enju no longer cared for such.., it was Bara's choice that came into play..
She herself chose not to release them, for she herself for the love and blind devotion she had to her Father, would rather crumble then to show that she had failed in achieving her Father's wish..., releasing the Rosa Mysticae would be like admiting defeat towards Rozen's creations over Enju's.
It is clearly a fact that Enju did not know that the doll he created could not contain the Rosa Mysticae, hence why I stated that there always was the possibility that he might even have expected to see Bara reach Alice once she had all the Rosa Mysticae in her possession; but this seemed more of something extra, as a bonus in the end rather then the last objective itself..
To me Enju's only objective at first was simply and purely for his creation to surpass those created by his master.

Hello Rozen Maiden fans.
Kinda hard to narrow down to just one or two votes, as I love all of the RMs. Anyways I voted for both Suiseisuki and Sugintou.
Sugintou - Definitely one of my favourite antagonists now thanks to her excellent performance in season one. As Shinku had put it, Sugintou desire to meet Rozen is definitely the strongest and the purest of all the RMs. Little wonder she could easily cast aside their sibling bonds and having no qualms about extracting the others Rosa Mystique by any means possible. Then, when I saw the scene when she was engulfed in flames, and the truth about her appearance/body came to light, I cannot help but sympathized with her, yes I guess part of her immerse inferiority complex also fueled her desire to became Alice. Truly a tragic heroine in her own right...V_V
I truly hope even more shall be revealed in Ouverture about this already deep and complex RM and the great animosity between her and Shinku.
Suiseisuki - Really love every single interaction scene of her and Hina, and of course her ~desu at the end of almost every single sentence. Despite her somewhat mean, childish and almost evil personality, apparently she also has a another soft and some what vulnerable side that I find it totally endearing. Her bed time story reading scene with Jun best describes this. And yet her unconditional love for her twin sister is one of the strongest I have ever seen in an anime. The scene whereby she explained her resolution about the Alice Game to Souseiseki really pulled my heart strings. It's sad that in the end even Souseiseki was ultimately manipulated and was forced to initiate the Alice Game. I cannot help but wonder IF Souseiseki and Suiseiseki were last ones standing in the Alice Game, since knowing that Suiseiseki would only surrender without a fight against Souseiseki, would Souseiseki still have the heart to swing down her blade at her own sister? I really hope IF there is ever a season three, they would spent as quickly as possible to resurrect both Souseiseki and Hina. I cannot help but feel sad looking at Suiseiseki's already crestfallen face. Yes she is my favourite RM too...^_^

I voted for the following in order:
Shinku - The most lady-like of them all. Sure, she can be cold sometimes, but she can be incredibly sweet, too, if she really wanted to be. Also, the prettiest of the dolls.
Suiseiseki - Second on the list. If you are on her good side, she can be very sweet. Almost as pretty as Shinku.
Hina Ichigo - She's just extremely cute, kinda like a little sister.

You know, I think Sugintou and Kirakishou would probably be a LOT nicer, if Rozen wasn't such an asshat and finished them. He was so evil in the opening of Overture, leaving her naked and unfinished, while cuddling and loving the other dolls right in front of her face. He dosn't seem like such a nice person, as he was blatently rubbing her nose in it. As for poor Kira, she had no physical body and dumped in an N field, for a rose for a left eye.
Of course she's going to have issues.

My vote is for Souseiseki.
More than anything, I like how her weapon and fighting style reflect her personality. Souseiseki's nature is to cut away those things which would cause harm to those she cares for, and her personality is straightforward ("cutting to the quick.") She also seems to be the most insightful and contemplative of the dolls.
However, this nature causes her tragic downfall. Dang it... why do I always go for the characters who end up dead (or the rough equivalent?)
Closely running-up would be Suigintou. After watching Ouverture I can really appreciate how she drove herself so far without even aid from Rozen. She's what I would call a "self-made" doll, with a little help from Rozen along the way.

well i wont say thats its mostly against shinku but its just that she did screw up her relationship with gin pretty bad in ouverture ~ and it makes me wonder it could have ended differently ~ well from season 1 & 2 weve already seen shinku's side of the story and it didnt affect me much on how much i liked her...but within just 2 eps from the ova of gin's point of view im a total fanboy of her now :heh: i guess i just didnt like shinku to begin with anyway >.<

Hmm... my impression from the OVA was that Suigintou was never supposed to have become animate and she did so on her own, same way her powers worked without a medium in the first season- her soul is just that strong. So maybe Rozen didn't even know she was alive in there. He does look awfully space-cadet in a lot of those shots.
I choose Suigintou, Shinku, Hana-Ichigo and Barasuishou. Kinda like them ...

I have to send a vote for all the characters (even for Papa). Here's my ranking:
1. Sou (inspired me to use Lolita Lempicka parfums)
2. Sui (I taught my little brother to say "desu" at the end of his sentences)
3. Kanaria (I usually make ridiculous out of myself, just like her. And...why does everybody think that I'm a smarty pants???:frustrated: )
4. Gin (she will share 1st place with Sou as soon as she returns her Rosa Mystica. But 90% of my gastric crisis were solved when I met Yakult. To me it's better to not have a stomach than to feel the pain of a torch swirling into it)
5. Kira and Bara (both in same place, to me they are very similar to each other. But the way that Kira kills Hina in the manga is *.*)
6. Hina (...and my little brother also says some "unyuu". I have a cosplay of her, too)
7. Rozen (I'm making some astrology studies, so an alchemist is always welcomed)
8. Jun (o poor Jun, he should be canonized for dealing with two wicked dolls and a crazy sister every day)
9. Shinku (seriously, I can't stand her. Specially in the manga...)

The top three when it comes to overall score rankings based on things I like and dislike about them using 1-5 point ranking. Oh but Gin-sama gets a +5 point advantage (fufufufu~) just for being someone I can personally relate to. Desu is so great that I can actually forgive her for wearing green.
Sou and Bara share 4th spot, if it were for knowing Kira better, I'd believe she'd be there with them. Sou's occasionally a bit too masculine for my taste, other than that she'd share second place with her sister.
Hina isn't too bad either, just too... uhh pink! Unyuu! Unfortunate for her, being adorable isn't quite enough na-no~ So she gets 5th place na-no~.
Kanaria... if only she would actually play that violin properly instead of the horrible destructive discord I might actually appreciate her more, she gets -5 points for that alone - kashira!
Rozen, if it weren't for him, we wouldn't have all these more or less adorable dolls! So he'd deserve to be at least forgiven by those who believe him to be "guilty until proven innocent" if not given a name in the poll ^______^

Shinku-I just love her. My favorite character ever of anything. Especially in the middle of Traumend when she gets really nice.

Rozen-As was stated, we owe it all to him. I don't think he's really that guilty either. He wants to pursue Alice, but it's not as though he wants them to fight.

While I had decided to vote just 3 dolls, at the end I made up my mind and voted 4 (+1 human).
Suigintou: Made it thanks to ~ Ouverture ~ . I didn't like her on the first series, but she redeemed quite a bit in the second. However, still not enough for being among my "favourites". Ouverture's story was touching and finally shown all of her reasons for being as she is. Now I can totally sympathize with her, and I think that perhaps it had been better if the background story between her and Shinku was explained in the first part of Traumend.
Shinku: She was my first choice, then she lost some points in Ouverture. However, imho she's the beautifulest doll, and her classy and composite manners always had an appeal to me. Nice also how she made up her mind and chose not to fight anymore in Traumend. Perhaps, if it wasn't for Ouverture, she'd have been my favourite.
Suoseiseki: I immediately liked "boku" since she's the kind of character I can sympathize with the most. Not standing out, but wise, smart and extremely faithful. I was just a bit disappointed that she got deceived by Barasuishou, but I can forgive that. Having such a twin as she has is also a good plus.
Suiseiseki: Here it is, the twin. Before Ouverture, Shinku was my number 1. After that, Suiseiseki is. Now, out of all thoughts, having a tsundere doll was just ingenius :) . That aside, Suiseiseki was always there when it was time for comedy, and while a little tedious at times, she's adorable on the whole. Memorable how she defended Kanaria at the end of Traumend. Not to mention, her power was the one I liked the most.
Kashiwaba Tomoe: Kind of.. a human form of Souseiseki, despite her getting along with Hina Ichigo. Anyway, what I liked of her was her constant caring for Jun, to some extents it's possible to call that more of a stalking ^^ . But it was nice. If there will be a third season, ok for Gin, Shinku and all the others, but I definitely would like to see a development of the relationship between her and Jun, because whenever they're together, their utter clumsiness is so fascinating to watch, at every levels.
We do have dolls in this show, but it's not to be forgotten how deep the psychological human development can be, if we just think of what the former hikikomori we had in season 1 has become now :)
Interesting isn't it? Junk-sama is top on the list of dolls. Megu-chan is top of the list for humans in the series. Makes me wonder how come the junk-duo have so many votes. Perhaps we just feel sorry for them in some way. Or maybe we can relate to not being perfect/complete in some manner, which causes an internal conflict within us to either embrace sadness/hopelessness (Megu) or to strike out with fury at the world so we can become something more than what we are now (Gin). Or maybe they're just super-cute, and we're just smitten with their moe-ness.

Ifurita: No-one's perfect :p Other than that, the "dynamic junk duo" most certainly doesn't like to be felt sorry for... unless ofcourse you fancy having your skin decorated with black feathers in a rather painful manner ;)
Feeling sorry for is why Shinku treated Gin the way she did and most likely has nothing what so ever to do with the number of votes Gin has gotten. Just have to look a bit closer than just her actions to realize her inner beauty! She just has no reason not to hate and in that I see myself in her :(

As for not getting too many votes, he's just too human. While his character development is indeed admirable, he's just far too uninteresting in terms of "we've seen this before..." *yawn...*
Hina is cute and adorable, yes but not everyone likes too much pink, considering how many think of her as being too annoying. Too much sugar and unyu~ ;)
Shinku... some see her as an ideal lady, others see her as a bitch. Most others just like her somewhat, but not enough compared to some other character(s). Can't say she wouldn't have gotten plenty of votes as is! I voted for her in the light of liking Gin and Desu more than her.

I think Kana would have been a lot more popular if it weren't for a few questionable design elements.
She's the only one of the dolls that can really be called "tacky", though I suppose Hina could be on a stretch.
The hair accessory thing is just really annoying, and her colour scheme doesn't quite work. Her greenish-grey-ish hair and yellow kind of clash. She would have looked better with a more earthy colour scheme; greener hair, and as much orange and brown as yellow. I might redesign her if I get time...

I have to agree. The actual design of the character (although, not to my liking) seems to be well done. Over on the Pullip forums, where a lot of the posters are unaware of the goings on in the anime, the actual doll of Kanaria has proven to be the most well recieved. Girls who show no interest in the Rozen Pullips seem to at least like that one...

I didn't vote for either of them, and I haven't read the manga, but reading about Kirakishou's character and seeing pictures from the manga, she comes off as much more interesting character. She's insane! And she eats people!

-Souseiseki - when I first saw her I didn't like her clothing, but after first impression she became one of my fauvorites. Rarely introduced, even then I like her, among other reasons for traits as prudence, calm, devotion... and gender confusion.
-Kanaria - nice voice, fancy clothing and the best song - Pizzicato Hiyori.
-Hina Ichigo - dressed in pink, though she is still cute.
It was tough for me. I like Barasuishou, Kanaria, and Shinku.

I still amaze by Suigintou .... her dress is just....well made. With all the cuttings on the hands(the flip thingy) but its just nice. The hair scarf. The colour all mix well. That to be include with her hair which is nicely done to match her dress and scarf. To enhance the effect, her eye colour is marvelously put. Suigintou is just perfect...(to me that is). Her characteristic I think is the most faithful among all. She might be the kind of people who look as if she is bad but inside, she good. The evilness she shows is just probably to offset her inferiority. Guess thats about all? Huhu, will add more when i could think of it.
To be honest, if we're talking about the dressing of each of the dolls, I think that a lot of effort went into the designing and implementing of each doll's dress; so that all look beautiful, and more than that, each distinctly reflects or matches its doll's character.

still i think that gin sama's dress looked the best for her being the angel of death and all :D how ironic that there are "cross" like symbols when she is supposidly being the one doing the killing...her original personality wasnt to be made that way but it is the way she turned out that makes me love her so :3

Shinku: Oh who will not like her?? She is just a well-balanced solid character, and she makes me laugh a lot with the way she treats jun, she is royalty class.
Souseiseki: Because she is someone that is not afraid, she doesn't get scared by Shinku and confront her without a doubt when it comes to a matter that concern her too, i like her because you cannot intimidate this doll:)
barasuishou: i just love this crazy, maniac doll, she makes me laugh with her repeat's pathology and sometimes give me the creeps, she is truly senseless and doesn't care about anything else that is not about killing the other rozen maidens, she is a perfect villain and my favorite character. Actually, that made me think abit. Knowing what Kira does to Hina in the manga, I think it's a kind of bittersweet relief to know that as far as the anime is concerned, Hina's in a place where Kira can't reach her.
Then again; is she really safe from Kira? But I guess that at least her physical body would be safe, as Kira has no physical manifestation. And I doubt Hina (her soul or whatever) could wander into an N-field if she's dead.
