While Bandai Ent (US) hasn't given an official solicitation yet, Amazon and BB have Code Geass Vol 3 and 4 (or Part 2 RE and LE) as a Dec. 2nd 2008.

There were serious flaws on the second disk that kept people from playing them. From my understanding they are switching printers of the disks and that slowed down the production. Not to mention they have to reprint a whole lot of the second disks.
This is one of the reasons I don't plan to buy the DVDs until most of the first season is out.

I'm interested when the manga is being published and released separately. I've been looking, but yet to find it on the shelves of the mangas.

Bandai has fixed their replicator problem with vol. 2 and 95% of what's currently out at stores should now contain the fixed version of vol. 2, but if by fluke you'd end up with one of those 5% that have the bad one, Bandai has a replacement program in place (though because it's a R1 release, they will only ship to an address in the US or Canada)

What are you talking about? Naruto, Bleach, One Piece and the anime of Code Geass has just started to be released back in August. They keep releasing those anime games despite poor sales. I remember they even released a Eureka 7 game. There was a Wii boxing game that was based on a manga I had never even heard of.

I think it's unlikely that they will release the mini game Code Geass R2 or the dating sim Lost Colors to the US shores, but there is no reason not to release the RPG version of season one.

Most of the production is already done. They just need to translate and do voice acting.

The Phoenix Wright series is more obscure at first then Code Geass is and it's pretty popular in the US.
My thought it that they are waiting till more of the DVDs are out. Releasing the game would spoil the entire season's story.

My thoughts on whoever releasing the game stateside is pretty slim. All the anime/manga you stated with the exception of Eureka 7 are still ridiculously long, ongoing series and can be milked HARD for their money. Two of them are easily based off of fighting games (and crappy RPGs) and the characters within the series keep "getting upgraded." To me it's almost like sports games and their way of selling new ones - change the play system a little, update the rosters and BAM, new game 2008 or whatever you want to call it.

Naruto and Bleach in particular are interesting in their anime/manga plotlines, but they're classic shounen series and they really need to die out and end already. But why would they if there's a boatload of profit still to be made? :heh:

The people that brought the Phoenix Wright series here capitalized on a "new" genre of play (on the DS), and localization of the other games in the series were ported to the DS because it did unexpectedly well, ergo... more money again. :heh: It may not have originated out of a manga or such media, but originally the game was on the Game Boy Advance, not the DS. Only the 4th one was made exclusively for the DS, but Phoenix is no longer the main protagonist in that one... it changed the dynamic a little.

CG may be licensed and the DVDs are getting released, but it's bigger in Japan and not well known here. Unless someone high up in the chain thinks that the game is going to do well... I think we're SOL for a legit release. I'd pray real hard for some good souls like ATLUS to pick it up, but again... slim. It would be great for them to release the RPG because I've heard a lot of really good things about it, but I wonder if they'd really bother.

I've read that some people are still getting defective sets, and I haven't heard about any recall of the old disks, so I'm not too sure about those numbers you are using here.

Basically, I think the "flukes" could still be the rule, rather than the exception...until all the old sets become "sold out" all across the board.

I already have the first Limited Edition set myself, with all the extras, but unfortunately I can't take advantage of that replacement program without jumping through a few hoops. I'll probably buy another copy of volume two at some point, but not right now.

I'm really torn about collect the Code Geass collection. Do I want to get the two disk box sets or just collect the DVDs and manga separately.
I know he box sets get you sound episodes and soundtracks, but I don't care too much about the soundtracks and I'm not so sure the audio episodes will sounds as good when dubbed.

I really want to collect that manga series, seeing how it's moving differently; but do I want to wait to only get them with the DVDs?

BTW there's no really useful info in Pash. Mostly message from VAs.

OK, am I the only one noticing out of those card selections there are two images that as solo picture of Lelouch with Rolo, but none with Lelouch and Kallen or Lelouch and C.C?

Rolo has the "brothers" thing going for him. Kallen has nothing to warrant a pic with Lulu alone since she's just one of his Ashford friends and an ace pilot. Putting her alone with Lelouch on a card would make about as much sense as putting Suzaku on one alone with Schneizel. As for C.C., she stopped being Lelouch's only accomplice when Suzaku joined Lelouch.

You would probably get with the two disk box the second volume manga, a CD audio drama, and maybe another soundtrack. Much like the last one. If there is no soundtrack for the second part of the R1 series, like the second series, there will probably be some kind of charm or item. Like a key chain.

It's annoying when sites like Amazon has more news about products then official sites do.
It's like with the new language DS game My Japanese Coach. I've been looking forward to this one. Even on the official site there is no news at all, but Amazon has some. It's the only place with news.

It's about 12-13 cm. Great detail. Gotta love the Zero figurine :) And the shield is included.

There are other KMFs of course in the Offshoot series. I am thinking about buying the Purist Sutherland. Generic Black Knights Burai, Todou Burai, Sutherland, Purist Sutherland, Guren Nishiki, Lancelot, Gilford's Gloucester and Cornelia's Gloucester are also released as far as I know.

They're from the Robot Damashii line. I dunno if Robot Damashii is models or figures. If you know, then there's your answer.

I've heard that Robot Damashii is similar to the Offshoot line. I have a Zero's Burai from the Offshoot series and it is not a plamo.

Offshoot is a ended line, the damashii is the substitute, same technology of articulation, but more details and a better PVC, now all gundam 00 model will out like damashii line.

They are a sort of action figure, similar to revoltech, but they have a details more superior in comparison with the model kit and a minor price, for the scale, the offshoot/damashii KMF are about 1/72.
You can use them to make diorama with tanks, airplanes and heli.

In the previous page I put pictures about some offshoot KMF action figure.
However by bandai declaration, every code geass mecha will be made, then, vincent, tristan, mordred, gareth, etc...1-2 models every month.

Well when I think about sensibility I can't help but think it would have fit perfectly to a certain blindfolded action...dunno that's the feeling I get while listening this.

Maybe THIS underwear because that's what she is wearing under her BK unfiform. Though she is wearing her pilot suit in those turn, after the dress. Oh well...it's nice to see anyway, I don't see any sexual fanservice for one time.

Yep, Kallen got a lot of fan service during the show. TBH I would not have been shocked if they put her half naked on the cover.

When I first saw the set in the eps, I wanted it so

I made it, it took 100 $ and a lot of time, but I did it. :)

used marker to paint the squares on the board, its red oak. the box is made of plywood, and I used some old glass chest pieces I had laying around, I added the corners and the handle is different, along with all the gold, but I think my design is better than the one one the anime, but they are almost the same. its a normal 10in by 10in board, with a layer of clear coat. also some fabric that is like jeans that is thinner with ruber on the back, and some cotton with red felt (softer than normal felt, cost more too)

the only problems are; the rooks are missing in the clear side so I replaced them with checker pieces and the board get scratched from the screw of the handle and I cant trim the boards anymore or it will brake for sure, (one measurement mistake, it took 2 hours to fix with a box cutter and flat screw driver my hands still hurt though) also the handles screws are to long so it doesn't sit all the way to the board on the case but you cant tell unless you look good.

you have to remember its hand made and this is the first time I have done any thing with wood. o also its glued together with wood glue {elemers carpenter glue interior}.

Even without guessing, the cover has to feature Lelouch or even Suzaku as it is the final DVD :heh:. If Nunnally is not featured in this, how about the last one together with Lelouch. Last DVD has to feature the main character. Thanks for the information.

I would like too, but it would be nice if there are only suzaku and lelouch on it. It will enhance that last scene between them in the last episode, and also their promise, friendship, bond etc.

Well, it doesn't need to feature many characters to be the best cover. As the summaries of the episode were saying it when CG was airing, the ZR is mainly a promise between Suzaku and Lelouch. And the mini stories from mutuality enhanced that feeling for me.

You got a point. After looking at the cover of the final novel, I feel that C.C. or Nunnally should be included in the cover. Of course, I wouldn't mind if this cover only feature Lelouch and Suzaku which is much more meaningful as you pointed out. Emperor Lelouch and Zerozaku for this DVD? Or Suzaku as Knight of Zero? Can't wait to see.

I noticed that too but it seems to be Lelouch's hair at his neck.

Now I don't see why C.C. should be include but well. Nunally yes, Suzaku, certainly. In a way, it should have been this cover with Emperor Lulu, KnightZaku and BondaNally, it would have fit perfectly.
