Hey! Does anyone know the title of that beautiful but sad piano song whish is played several times in every episode? It’s really easy to recognize it. Usually it starts in moments of rethinks. At the beginning we can hear slow and high sounds of piano and the same motive is repeated several times in different musical scales. I really love the piano and I play it myself. If I had the title of that song I would be able to search for a piano sheets or something like that. Please, help me.

The piano part of Cherish is actually pretty easy to figure out. There is no official sheet music, but you can probably get someone to figure it out for you. (Note that with just the piano part, it's going to sound kind of bland because the guitar and strings supply most of the harmony)

You don't usually see sheet music for anime OP/ED's anywhere. I have a Detective Conan Piano arrangement theme song collection book, but I think that's a big exception to the rule.

It's not very often that anime songs or bgm music has sheet music that is released for it. The most I know of is the couple of books of piano music arrangements for Detective Conan OP/ED/Movie themes I have and that's it.

That would probably depend on what you like. What is your favorite animes out of what is there on that site? That's probably where you should start.

I almost didn't give these sites to you, simply because anyone with a little patience and reasonable search skills can find these. So I only gave a few in compromise. And to note - some series have piano books released. I suggest you import them. And don't reply saying 'I can't afford it blah blah'. I don't care. There's a thing called saving. And even if its only $1 a month, eventually you'll have enough money to get it.

Wow, that site is really good! Midi's and everything. I was only familiar with http://www.animescores.com, but ichigos seems to have a lot more. :)

As for what's I found fun to play... (I'm confident enough in my heterosexuality to say) I really liked the anime Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar, so I liked the complexity and beauty of "In Memory of Mother".

On the other hand, I hadn't heard Ayashi no Ceres "Scarlet" before playing the score... I really like that one too.

AND on the middle hand... the paino score to Cowboy Bebop's "Good Night Julia" is fun to play with my brother on saxophone. HE hadn't'a heard that one before and really likes to play it now. :D


Good heavens, how could I forget Noir's "At Dusk" ? Very soft and romantic.

Oh mama, I'm also having a ball trying to learn "Odoru Ponpokorin" that I just found on ichigos. I thought that Chibi Maruko-chan movie was a bit too slow and sweet, but I've always thought that opening song was screamingly cool! :) I can't wait to be able to play it and sings those lyrics at the same time. Da, dada da dee da...



Anyone else have any suggestions? It'll take too long to try all of ichigos stuff... :(

~Re Feel~ is clearly one of my favourite and best piano albums. The songs are very good remakes of the original pieces.

Hmm, I highly doubt anything official exists, but I wouldn't be surprised if some doujin group published some at some point in time.
But finding a copy or scans is probably impossible. I've never seen one (and I'd like to think that I have a good grip on the "extent" of the Touhou empire).

I have a few pieces of sheet music I've been looking for like crazy, and I just can't seem to find them anywhere. First off, there's 'Wake Up, Angel' from Pita-Ten. I actually don't think I've been able to find ANY sheet music from this anime.

I've also been looking for about four pieces from Loveless. Tsuki no KAASU, the opening (I've found the ending, Michiyuki, but can't find the opening), SEIMEI-Hope, Noughts, and Moody.

You may or may not know, but the music for Garden of Sinners kara no kyoukai is pretty breathtaking, particularly the second movie OST. Does anyone know if any sheet music exists for this anime?

I've been trying to play the 2nd movie ost 1st track on the piano, and it sounds pretty crude :(

This early in the game (and with a relatively unpopular series), you won't find any sheets, though there really should be. :(

The best would be to get the soundtrack and learn by ear; it might be a bit more crude, but it's good practise and leaves you a lot of room for experimentation and arrangement.

Yuki Kajiura's pieces are often pretty simple without any real negative impact, so you shouldn't have too hard of a time.

youtube, look for midi inputs, usually popular stuff like nights of nights will have midi software inputs, then you just play the video, and watch the music scroll. It helps to have a keyboard near buy, like an eletric paino/ korg. but not ever one does so just use you laptop and move it to you piano and use it as "sheet music" per se. Its a bitch but touhou songs are pretty repetitive so like in nights of nights once you memeorize a couple portions of the song you'll be playing the full song in no time
