[Manga] Most anticipated scenes in new Naruto anime Season

What scenes are you most looking forward to seeing animated in the new Naruto series?

These are the following few that I can think of off the top of my head:



Gaara's battle with Deidara

Itachi's clone battling Team Kakashi in the Forest (especially the Genjutsu scenes)

Sasori's battle with Sakura and Chiyo

Sai's gay antics with Naruto

Yamato's wooden abilities

Naruto's Kyuubified battle with Orochimaru

Sasuke's introduction to Sai

Sasuke's battle with Team Yamato and his conversation with Kyuubi inside Naruto's mind

Kakuzu and Hidan's abilities

Apart from the ones listed above, I would like to see Gai and his team's actions as well. Especially his fight with that guy (forgot his name). Gai's jutsu looks interesting, I wonder how it would look animated.

At the top of my list is definitely Sai's gay antics with Naruto (stolen from ShurikenJay´s post). And I´m real interested in seeing how his techniques will be animated aswell. Not to mention how he will sound.

Seems like I´m very close to being a Sai-fanboy. :heh:

I´m also looking forward to seeing how they will animate a kyuubified Naruto when he fires that beamlike thing against Orochimaru. They better not mess that one up. It´s a goosebump moment.

Sakura and the old lady vs Sasori might be something worth waiting for too.

I'm interested in Sai's voice as well.

Sakura claims that he sounds like Sasuke so I expect him to have a calm, semi-deep but sarcastic voice vs. gruff and unfriendly like Sasuke.

Something akin to Miroku from Inuyasha.

For animation I'd really like to see that image of Orochimaru staring done Kyuubi, it looked very bad ass.

Shikamaru vs Hidan is going to be my favorite thus far. Just a lot of emotional attachment going into that battle.

Another I'm interested in seeing is team Gai vs their clones. It wasn't touched on in the manga, it was just used to keep them from helping the others with the Akatsuki members, but I'm curious if the anime team will try and show some of it. Can't imagine they can resist the temptation to drag that arc out a bit.

I dont think anyone has said this yet, but i am quite looking forward to seeing Kankuro's fight against Sasori....
All we saw was the start and the aftermath, so hopefully it will follow on the footsteps of the Temari-Tenten fight i.e. fill in the gaps!
And the clones fight, again to fill in the gaps....

It wasn't shown in the manga but I certainly hope they animate more of the Nibi Jinchuuriki's fight with Hidan and Kakuzu...although that may give away some of Hidan's abilities, but I think she was shuffled in and out too quickly.

But, since there is a long time to reach that scene, I will be satisfied with the 4-tail's main attack, the highly dense chakra ball, and Oro defending himself against that...

Right now I'm mostly looking forward to Deidara and Sasori fighting, I'll worry about later scenes in due time. I wonder if the anime team will use only two chapters per episode duting the Sasori fight... it would become the longest (uninterupted) fight yet if I'm not mistaking. Would love for them to squeze a bit more into every episode, but that doesn't exactly happen that often. I suppose they'll intercut with the Deidara fight so the kids won't forget who the main character is.

Oh yeah, ever since I saw Gaara jumping onto the sand and surfing right up into the air, I've been looking forward to seeing that animated for some reason. I just thought it was so cool. :p

Well, remember when Team 7 first goes to the Sand Village to help out in the search for Gaara and they first encounter Chiyo-ba-san? Chiyo-ba-san initially mistook Kakashi as the "White Fang" (Kakashi's father) and attacked.

Naruto´s move when she attacks Kakashi was pretty cool in the manga and I liked how he instantly moves to protect his sensei aswell.

And also when Gaara is brought back to life, that scene in the manga made me shed a tear. It was great, just like Chouji´s "death"-scene.

But you´re right, his voice apparently reminds about Sasuke so it´ll be interesting to see which one they´ll choose. Just looking at him I think his voice should be a bit brighter/higher than Sasuke´s.

Sakura didn't kill Sasori, Chiyo did. She was very important in the fight as she destroyed the Sandaime Kazekage puppet. That isn't equivalent to the Sandaime Kazekage, but it is impressive to trick a master puppeteer like Sasori.

As for the fight I want to see:
Neji vs Neji, Tenten vs Tenten, Lee vs Lee and Gai vs Gai.
There were briefs shots of it while Sakura and Chiyo were fighting Sasori, but I want to see it fleshed out. Neji vs Neji is definitely going to be interesting: how does the greatest inheritor of the Hyuuga bloodline defeat the greatest inheritor of the Hyuuga bloodline. Maybe we'll see Hakke Sanbyaku Rokujūichi Shiki. Also Tenten vs Tenten will be fun to watch, hopefully we'll see some diversity in her weapons.

I'm suprised no one has said what in my opinion will be the best animation sequence possible (so far) from the manga... Fuuton - Rasenshuriken in Kakuza's face... Even though it is a while off, the pure destructive power is enough to make one drool.

- Sasuke encountering Naruto and Kyuubi (we got a short teaser for it)

- Itachi trapping Naruto in a genjutsu

- Sasuke and Orochimaru battling during the Immortality jutsu (and Sasuke showing Kabuto the result)

With the exception of 4 (Wind Element Rasengan) none of these things have happened yet in the manga.

True. I'd like them to elaborate a bit more on WHAT they are going to do with the Bijuu once they have extracted them all.

Hopefully they do something mfore creative then store them in their bodies to aid them in "Taking over Teh World!". :uhoh:
