jungle wa final?

sorta confused about the title of Jungle wa itsumo hale nochi guu FINAL . Does the final refer to the final OVA? or does it refer to the final release version of deluxe, as there is a illusion 1 + 2 on there, which means the first episode and second?

"Final" means that it is the final OVA series. It takes place after "Deluxe." This is only the first episode of the final series. Illusion 1 and 2 refers to the first and second half of the episode, just like with "Deluxe."

The first OAV came out in the end of December as far as I know.

Boy oh boy does it feel good to see some new Guu again. This is one of the funniest anime series of all time if you ask me, and doesn't seem to have gotten as much recognition as it deserves. I can't wait to see the rest of Final, though I'm gonna be so sad when it's all over. :(

Oh and some advice, if you haven't seen any Guu up til now, don't start with this. While you'll still probably laugh your ass off, nothing is going to beat watching it from the start.

Oh and anyone who's watching this, regarding the ED (which is very cool btw) is that really Hale's seiyuu singing? It sounds a lot like her, but I can't tell because the tone of voice is different. Also, wouldn't that be the first time Sister Mayo didn't do a theme? Fun Fun and Shout is one of the best ED's ever, and the accompanying sequence makes me laugh still every time I see it. :heh:

Gonna wait for AC to finish their version... Didn't even bother downloading the AJ sub. I'm, like, dying with anticipation for this title! Between waiting for AC's sub of this and wanting A-O to do another ep of Prince of Tennis... I may lose my sanity! :P

The OP is done by Sister Mayo with Final-tai (which means the cast I think of the OVA), called Love Tropicana Final. It's a different melody than the original or Love Tropicana Deluxe was, but it's still good.

The ED is done by Hare's seiyuu, called Teruterubouzu. It's a slower piece, not the bigband sound that Fan Fan & Shout had.

Er yeah, I wasn't sure if everyone is still hating on AJ since they became more low key, but this sub wasn't bad at all. The editing wasn't super great, but everything made perfect sense, it was still hilarious, the font was good. There was even karaoke. It didn't seem like the rush jobs that AJ is known for... Of course I'll still be DLing any other subs that pop up for comparison, but I'm pretty content with AJ's.

...And thanks for the OP ED clarification Doc. Now me want singles!
