Let's see:

The original (1973) Cutey Honey OP is a sort of classic; & has been recycled for every subsequent anime version I'm aware of. I also really like the ED which gives me a warm nostalgic feeling, not that I saw the show way back, it's just the style.

The OP to (original) Ace o Nerae is a bit cheesy but I've caught myself humming it on the way to work.

Densetsu Kyojin (Space Runaway) Ideon has a good score all round. The ED is another one that gives me that warm fuzzy nostalgic feeling.

Urusei Yatsura - the music ain't the greatest on its own but gets a boost from its association with one of my favourite shows.

Akage no Anne has a good old-fashioned solid score.

I refuse to consider anything post 1990 "old". Otherwise this list would get really long.

Kimagure Orange Road and Maison Ikkoku OSTs are my favourites. I love their 80s style!. I specially like the saxo in some KOR songs, for example, in "Dangerous Triangle".

Cosmos Sora Wo Kakerukete.... Inori Mo Ima Kimi No Motto E. Such a peaceful song at the end of an often bloody series. The Opening is good too if you like acoustic guitar.

Mazinger Z and Grendizer openings, ah man old memories used to be a big grendizer fanatic. Altho as a kid I watched them dubbed, I loved the opening music cause it was gr8 even dubbed. And several years later I heard the jap. version of grendaizer's opening, and it kicked major ass. Good old memories.

Plus the FLCL soundtrack is pretty great. (if that counts as old anime) Its really great because its preformed by The Pillows.

Well maybe Orphen's OSTs...but that's the only one which comes close.
