This thread will most likely contain spoilers! If you are posting a quote from a recent episode then please use spoiler tags.

Please include the episode number or some such title in the spoiler tag (spoiler=episode number) since it at least helps others to identify if they may or may not have seen that particualr episode. A spoiler without such a title is almost as bad as no spoiler since the temptation not to click is so difficult :)

If you wish you can also post quotes from the manga, but again it would be advisable to use spoiler tags if you do so.

I'm pretty sure what really heralded the White Devil's name was from A's, when Vita did some attack on a civilian-wear Nanoha, engulfing her in flames, and Vita calling Nanoha a demon. Nanoha proceeds to slowly walk out of the flames, with barrier jacket on, and replying something like, "I'll just have to use my devilish ways to make you listen." Complete devil-looking scenario, with the flames as a background and walking out of it. Scary...

She has two "demonic" nicknames one came from the pun on Maho Shojo as LoweGear said (http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost.php?p=891948&postcount=17) Ma Ho Shojo so called for her love of beam spamming (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BeamSpam). The name white devil was apparently a reference to this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gundam_%28mobile_suit%29).

Everyone loves Vita! I like that quote because of the emotion driving it and the way that it reinforces the idea of their devices as conscious beings, not only does he have a name but a title :D.

When Nanoha first fires her starlight breaker, does anyone know how to spell out the japanese words in English so i know how to pronounce them right?

I've been trying to figure it out using japanese translators online as well as repeatedly listening to that small part but I just can't seem to get it right. :heh:

Oh yeah, when Raging Heart first chimes that happy little tune and says "Starlight Breaker" that is THE best quote out of all the series (with the "I'm the happiest magical tome in the whole world" coming in a close second). You just get a chill and goosebumps down your spine when you first hear that attack spell being called out by Raging Heart. I still do :D

For me...it would have to be from the last episode of A's in which Reinforce responds to when Nanoha says "But that's still just so sad" (in regards to having to destroy her [Reinforce])
