View Full Version : iTunes-like service with Asian music?
I've always liked the simplicity of itunes as a means to purchase music. The problem is that I don't listen to most western music. Is there any kind of equivilent service that caters to fans of jmusic, cmusic, kmusic, etc? I bet the Japanese version of the Sony's service would be great, but I don't really know if they have users here in the states.

There is a Japanese iTunes store that has different content.

Unfortunately, unless you have a credit card with billing address in Japan, or have a friend / family member in Japan willing to let you use their card, iTMS Japan is only "look, but don't touch."
Alternatively, J-List (www.jlist.com) sells iTMS JP gift cards (among other things :heh:), which you can use no matter where you live. Their markup, while reasonable IMHO, means the cost per song is quite high ($2+ for most songs).
